Hello, if you are not involved, please do not post in this thread until the completion of this battle. Thank you.

"Hello one & all, we are back at the ASB Tournament Arena to bring you live coverage of the Doubles Rubber between Team jassmashpwn & Team Order's Requiem! Team jassmashpwn won their Round 1 Matchup against Team Those Three Guys Who Used to Scramble, while Team Order's Requiem enjoyed a Bye Round 1! Now, let us recap the rules & regulations of the match."

"And what Arena are we on?"
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Field Type: Neutral
Complexity: Simple
Format: All

Restrictions: No Restrictions

Description: Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the centre of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball centre). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about 4.5m wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is 24m wide, 33m long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than 18m). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

"Now, with that done, it is time to meet today's combatants!"

"First, representing Team jassmashpwn...It is Pwnemon!"

Keen Eye: (Innate) This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.
Stall: (Innate) This Pokemon has a watchful eye and immense patience. It can be ordered to attack last on any action regardless of ordinary attack priority. If an opponent orders their Pokemon to attack after Sableye, that attack will fail. Against another Sableye, the trainer who issues attacks first has precedence and the opponent's attack will fail.
Prankster: (Innate) The Pokemon is always prepared for engaging in sneaky tactics and trickery, giving its non-damaging attacks an increase in priority level.

Inner Focus: Type: Innate
When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.

allright guys, this is our first tournament battle, lets try not to fuck it up too badly.
Envy, I want you to scare the flying scorpion into flinching, then, use Rock Slide to hit both your opponents. Finally, finish up with a Iron Head at Sableye.

Pride, I want you to Taunt the Gliscor so it won't try anything funny. Then use Psychic for some nice damage. Finish up with a Toxic at Sableye to badly poison it.
Summary:
Envy: Fake Out (Gliscor)> Rock Slide> Iron Head (Sableye)
IF Gliscor uses Protect A1, use Odor Sleuth on Sableye instead.
Pride: Taunt (Gliscor)> Psychic (Gliscor)> Toxic (Sableye)
IF Gliscor uses Protect A1 AND you are not Taunted, use Taunt on Sableye.
IF you are Taunted by A2, use, Shadow Ball (Sableye) A3 instead of Toxic.

Pwnemon vs. MrcRanger97 (4v4 Doubles) - IAR Refs - Round 1

PWNEMON VS. MRCRANGER97

Round One - Fight!

"Gemcraft begins the fight by shrouding himself in a filmy, reflective coat, whilst Aerotoxin throws up a protective barrier! This forces Envy & Pride to change plans, as Envy tries to detect Gemcraft's odours, but the coat bounces it back & Gemcraft finds Envy's weak spots! Pride, on the other hand, tries to insult Gemcraft, but those insults are bounced back as well, insulting Pride!"

"Gemcraft then rushes at Envy, striking & shocking Envy! Meanwhile, Aerotoxin burrows her way underground, avoiding a mental attack from Pride! Envy, on the other hand, was shocked, & was recovering from the attack..."

"Aerotoxin then sets up floating stones which surround MrcRanger97's team, as Envy rams into Gemcraft, & Pride blasts Gemcraft with a blob of shadow! sadly for Pwnemon, that ramming manoeuvre proved to cause enough shock to flinch Gemcraft!"

"Round End, And it is rather unclear what who has the advantage, but MrcRanger97 looks to have started solidly, while Pwnemon has not exactly done well...What will happen next round? Find out after the commercial break."

For Pwnemon:

Switching. Sableye out, Colossoil in.

(Also, I'm fairly certain Pwnemon is right about the Oder Sleuth. Maybe it is different in ASB, but in game, the move isn't reflected so much as blocked and then used by the Magic Coat user back at the original target).

Colossoil: Sucker Punch (Gengar) - Crunch (Gengar) - Drill Run (Kitsunoh)
If Kitsunoh uses Fake Out on Gliscor, use Encore (Kitsunoh) that action and push actions back (but only once. encored fake outs shouldn't activate this)
If Kitsunoh uses Will-o-Wisp on Gliscor, use Bodyblock (Gliscor) that action and push actions back

"Envy then rushes at THE UNDERMINER, & strikes him critically at a blinding speed, shocking him & rendering him unable to attack for that round! Aerotoxin then starts glowing, as THE UNDERMINER is forced to recover from the shock! Pride then wallops THE UNDERMINER with a fist of fire, when suddenly, Aerotoxin lets rip a powerful air assault, striking Pride for massive damage!"

OK, after some discussion on IRC and some prodding from SevenDeadlySins, I've decided to make a change to the DQ rules.

Effective immediately, if a player goes over DQ, any player from their team may post in their stead. Because of this, no player will be DQed. If an entire team is unable to post (please don't let this happen ;_;) the entire team will be DQed.

Sincerest apologies to anyone adversely affected by this rule change. This really should have been done at the start of the round, but I was stubborn and didn't change it. Particular apologies to Pwnemon who I forced to sit out the first part of the round for nothing >.>
This means Pwnemon may now post again, AND Ragnarokalex & The Royal Guard may now "ghost" for MrcRanger97 (Who is 2.5 days over DQ).

If no one from Order's Requiem posts soon, Then the entire team will be disqualified from the ASB Team Tournament.

Cheers!

Well, I was hoping to talk with smash before posting for pwnemon, but oh well, need to get something in.

Anyways, it would seem our opponent forgot the priority of a moved protect. Lets take advantage and fly with the tailwind.

Colossoil: Crunch (Gengar) - Substitute (15 HP) - Bounce (Revenankh)

Gliscor: Chill - Substitute (20 HP) - Sky Attack (Revenankh)

"With the round done, it appears Pwnemon has a big advantage, as the draft behind his team wears off. What will MrcRanger97 send out? How will Pwnemon capitalise on his advantage? And how will MrcRanger97 respond? We will find out soon enough..."
