I don't think the top 10 should really be surprising to anybody that's been playing RU a lot recently, except maybe the spike in usage of Spiritomb. Could that be in relation to the other top 10? CB Spiritomb does quite a number to Cofag and Slowking, as well as Gallade. CB Tomb is also the only Ghost bar Dusknoir able to spinblock and beat Cryogonal one-on-one. Defensive Spiritomb works nicely as a spinblocker against Sandslash and doesn't die immediately to Drapion.

It's kind of depressing that we only had ~6000 battles this month. Last month was 9500 and we thought that was inactive. Hopefully it's just that people moved over to Showdown at the end of the month, because I thought we were actually starting to recover a little bit of momentum until I saw that number.

Sandslash and Hitmonchan are still way too high, and Roselia, Kabutops, and Sigilyph are way too low.

I question the people using Sandslash as a spinner. It is pretty terrible in the current metagame. Nearly every spinblocker sets up on it, or easily defeats it, while the best thing Sandslash can do is get burned by WoW and futilely attack while Cofagrigus or Spiritomb walk all over it. Cryogonal is by far the best spinner in the tier, and it is finally getting the recognition it deserves.

On a side note, I am super pumped to make a team with Escavalier and Nidoqueen in it.

I understand cryo getting walled, but how does metang wall lilligant?!? You can use sleep powder and proceed to quiver dance, and HP fire probly 2HKOs 252/0 metang with eviolite after one QD, and mesprit has flamethrower doesn't it?

I'm excited about boobies (nidoQ) dropping to RU. BW2 has SR tutor do she sets up rocks way better than metang, and she can also run a sheer force LO set like nidoK in UU cuz her special movepool is fuckin amazing. Boobies should also give draping some competition as a tspikes user since drap gets owned by her STAB sheer force earth power while she can take an EQ from defensive drapion

Aside from that I am really happy with the results this month and I think that the stats are all in the right place except for Metang because 478 are in the 1337 stats (Those were from Molk) but where did the other 381 not in 1337 come from??? Is it people just testing or is it really that good?

I am happy to see that in the 1337 stats Evire is #17. The expert belt set is really really good and is only walled by a select few pokemon. But personally I don't approve of Magmortar sitting at #11 on the ladder because without choice scarf or speed boosts it really is slow as shit. It is basically a slow moltres with access to tbolt but no recovery, but I see the power that it provides and how it can take down the infamous SteelKing and TangKing wall combos, but with proper team construction it can easily be worked around.

You can't give a Pokemon negative usage, so you can't undo Molk's work lol. No one really cares that it's in RU, and it will drop to NU during the next tier shifts (October 1st). It was a joke so stop talking about Metang! Instead, discuss how Hurricane Moltres will cause Slowking to drop and Lanturn to take its place :p

Oh, right, one of the new things B2W2 gave it. I still prefer to use Air Slash for flinching and because of PP constraints when already using Fire Blast in my offensive Moltres set. Trying to run both Fire Blast and Hurricane would guarantee me using a Wide Lens/Zoom Lens to fix accuracy problems.
