**Cresselia**: Cresselia easily takes any of Landorus' attacks and set up Trick Room or deal massive damage with Ice Beam.
**Primal Kyogre**: If it hasn't taken decent damage before, Kyogre lives Grass Knot, and Primal Kyogre destroys Landorus with either Ice or Water coverage.
**Fast Offensive Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mega Rayquaza, Weavile, and Greninja outspeed Landorus and easily knock it out with strong neutral hits or super effective moves.
**Tailwind**: Tailwind allows most pokemon to outspeed Landorus and threaten a ko or massive damage.
- Decent speed and coverage allow Landorus to threaten many common threats, most notably Primal Groudon
- One of the few pokemon capable of reliably OHKOing Primal Groudon
- Only one set that is fairly predictable
- Lacks power on neutral hits due to lack of Sheer Force
- Preparation for Groudon causes opposing teams to be prepared for Landorus' Ground-STAB attacks
- Mediocre bulk causes many neutral attacks to ko it

Moves
========
- Earth Power is the main reason to use Landorus allowing it to destroy all but the bulkiest Primal Groudon. It also heavily damages Aegislash and kills most Mawile.
- Grass Knot hits Kyogre super effectively dealing a large chunk of damage.
- Hidden Power Ice offers coverage against opposing Landorus, Salamence, and Rayquaza. It OHKOs Mega Salamence, regular Rayquaza, and Landorus unless they heavily invest or holding and Assault Vest. However Deltra Stream and Mega Rayquaza's increased bulk prevent it from being a guaranteed 2HKO.
- Knock Off is used to get rid of Xerneas' Power Herb before it can use Geomancy which locks it into that move for the next turn. Knock Off also offers coverage against Cresselia and regular Gengar, two pokemon Landorus would otherwise struggle to hit for decent damage.
- Stone Edge kills almost all Ho-Oh and Talonflame while giving coverage against Crobat but struggles with shaky accuracy.
Set Details
========
- The EV spread hits as fast and hard as possible.
- A Life Orb is needed to increase damage output and get important kos.
- A Naive nature can be used along with Knock Off and Stone Edge but is not required. When using Naive the 4 HP evs should be moved to attack.
Usage Tips
========
- Making predictions when using Landorus is almost always necessary due to the wide amount of things it threatens. As a result of this Landorus is a high risk high reward pokemon that can sometimes end up doing nothing when played incorrectly.
- Saving Landorus until late game can ease the pressure on it by allowing to target pokemon without fear of them switching out. Saving it until later in the game also lets it take out pokemon that have been worn down.
Team Options
========
- Whimsicott and Crobat offer Tailwind support and also provide damage control with Fake Tears and Super Fang repectively that allow Landorus to get many ko's on pokemon like Mega Kangaskhan and Primal Kyogre.
- Xerneas appreciates Landorus' Ground STAB which takes out pokemon that would usually check like Aegislash, Mega Mawile, and Primal Groudon.
- Landorus generally fits well on teams that require an offensive Primal Groudon check.

Other Options
=============
- Psychic hits Crobat, Amoonguss, and Gengar.
- Sludge Bomb hits Xerneas and Whimsicott
- U-Turn allows bring a Primal in after switching it out in one turn
- Focus Blast hits Kangaskhan and Ferrothorn hard but has shaky accuracy
- Expert Belt can be used if Life Orb is already on another teammate
