Arena: Bolt Beach
A 120 * 100 * 100 Room, Bolt Beach is an artificial haven. Above the arena is a glass dome, where spetators watch, whilst trainers have podiums to issue commands from elevated podiums at opposite ends of the arena. Bolt Beach is mainly a bright yellow sand, and a dark yellow water. There are a few palm trees, although they give off a slight green glow.

Features:

- Electricity in the sand means that electric types all learn Charge, and the effect lasts for 9 actions.
- The sand reduces the BP of Seismic attacks by 1, and lower's dig's priority on tunneling down to -0.5.
- Attacks which require natural sunlight cannot work.
- Attacks which cannot work in an artificial environment do work, but paralyse the user 5% of the time as if hit by Thunder Wave, since the "Nature" is electric.
- Nature Power is treated as Shock Wave.
- There is a constant rainfall in the arena, which cannot be changed.
- Mud Sport is washed away at the end of each round.

IF Bide, AND Not Taunted, THEN change actions from the first time Bide is used to Substitute [15] ~ Charge ~ Hydro Pump
IF Taunt, THEN Dive

As Elevator_Music reaches the top of the steps and takes his place on the podium, the Leader Dogfish44 is already waiting, smiling. Elevator_Music must squint against the bright glow from the beach below, but still manages to ready his Pokeballs. He chooses to begin the challenging battle with Haganeiru the Steelix, and the massive snake slams into the beach with a loud thud, sending charged sand and water everywhere. Such a fierce ground-type will surely prove troublesome for Dogfish44!

Taking his time and thinking the situation through carefully, Dogfish44 responds by sending out Formula the Krillowatt, and the shrimp Pokemon dives out into his home field, ready for battle. As soon as he hits the sandy ground, Formula jumps into the water and gathers water for a Hydro Pump, the stream of water rushing towards Haganeiru. The steel-type throws up a Protective barrier at the last instant, saving him from massive damage!

Formula keeps up the water-typed offensive by sending a crashing Surf onto Steelix, who winces as he takes massive damage. Haganeiru shakes off the water from his head, and then tosses out some strange, sharp conglomerates of sand to hover around Dogfish44's platform. It seems as if Haganeiru used the water to stick the sand together into some Stealth Rocks! How clever!

Krillowatt is not pleased with this long-term advantage, and opts to fire off another Hydro Pump in retaliation, nailing the Steelix for super-effective damage once again. Even the hefty Haganeiru is sent flying back by the force of the attack, but he manages to rear himself up to his true, terrifying height. Formula stands bravely, expecting a mighty ground-type attack, but instead is whipped by Steelix's Dragon Tail, sent all the way back to Dogfish44's platform. Unhappy with this, Dogfish44 returns Formula to his Pokeball, and sends out Nimbus the Cyclohm in his stead, the Stealth Rocks striking the Cyclohm already.

Though Dogfish44 has a significant HP lead, can the randomized shuffling and Stealth Rocks provide enough an advantage for Elevator_Music?

Elevator_Music, trying to keep the positive momentum going, switches the weakened titan Haganeiru out, instead sending in the playful Erufuun the Whimsicott. Erufuun hops playfully down into the sand, dancing around in the rain.

Completely ignoring the gruff Cyclohm it is facing in the important battle, Erufuun seems content to fashion a usable flute out of some of its fluff, and begins playing a song. Nimbus's three heads look out alertly, ready for any attack, but eventually all six eyes droop closed; Erufuun's Grasswhistle was succesful! Unfortunately for the adorable grass-type, Nimbus is a loud sleeper, and his Snoring is quite bothersome.

Erufuun continues to dance around in the sand, continuing to ignore his fearsome foe, and he tosses out Leech Seeds like confetti, some of them planting on Cyclohm's moist cloud body. Cyclohm, tired of the prankster's games, roars and summons a mighty Hurricane to strike the Whimsicott for massive damage. The winds batter the fluffy cotton Pokemon, and Erufuun is nearly blown away into the water, though he does gracefully float down to the ground at the end of the storm.

Erufuun frowns, his play being interrupted summons a glowing Light Screen now, though Nimbus's second Hurricane still tears at the Whimsicott's fluff. However, the previous seeds sap at the Cyclohm's health, healing Erufuun ever so slightly.

Dogfish44 seems to have grabbed the advantage back, though Whimsicott has set up quite a bit, and those Stealth Rocks restrict his switching abilities. This battle could still go either way, easily!

"Hello Steelix... I suppose our hand is being forced here."

Brick Break ~ Grass Knot ~ Flamethrower + Flamethrower

More switching ends up with a stone-stricken Murena the Eelektross facing down the weakened Steelix. Murena tantalizingly levitates over any attempts of seismic activity from Haganeiru, but the steel-type seems determined to still do go down fighting.

And fight it does. Steelix's focus sash finally snaps with as Murena chops him with a Brick Break, shattering the Light Screen, but Steelix's walloping Double-Edge easily matches the damage, as the hefty snake rams into the floating Eeelektross.

Murena then grabs a leafy frond from the palm tree and swipes it underneath Haganeiru, tripping the huge snake with a Grass Knot. Unfortunately for Murena, Steelix lands on top of her - with the force of a Body Slam!

Crawling out from underneath the Steelix, Murena begins to prepare for a powerful attack, giving Haganeiru the chance to get one more slamming Double-Edge! It didn't seem to shake Murena's concentration whatsoever, as she fires off a powerful Flamestream to scorch and melt Steelix's exterior. The mighty giant finally falls with a loud thud on the beach, sending sand and water spraying everywhere!

As Murena takes a rest from levitating, flopped out on the beach, Elevator_Music replaces the fallen behemoth with the trickster Erufuun once again. Whimsicott does not hesitate to take advantage of his helpless opponent, tossing out a bunch of Leech Seeds to drain away at her HP.

Erufuun dances around happily at the new advantage, casually throwing up a Protective barrier so that the tired Eeelektross does not interfere with the dance party. It was well timed, too; Murena's Bounce attack is completely blocked by the shimmering screen.

Finally, Erufuun splits off a pile of fluffy cotton into a rough Substitute of himself, and the exhausted and weakened Murena blearily targets this fluff-doll instead! The Eelektross rushes over with an impressive Acrobatics display, but the doll remains with a just a bit of highly distracting cotton left!
