[OVERVIEW]

Lilligant is able to effectively utilize one of the best boosting moves in the game, Quiver Dance. This is complemented by its access to Sleep Powder, which can ease setup and shut down potential threats. Lilligant is also one of the few setup sweepers in the tier that can reliably switch into bulky Water-types. Moreover, Lilligant has Healing Wish, which makes it a great offensive support pokemon. Unfortunately, Lilligant has limited coverage and thus must rely on Hidden Power and Nature Power. Lilligant's poor defensive typing leaves it very vulnerable to Ice-, Flying-, Poison-, and Fire-types; Cryogonal, Fletchinder, Vileplume, and Magmortar are all quite common in NU. Specifically, Lilligant is weak to Fletchinder's Acrobatics.

Moves
========

Quiver Dance boosts Lilligant's Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed in one fell swoop. Giga Drain is used as a consistent STAB move that has the additional benefit of healing Lilligant. Hidden Power Fire hits Grass-, Steel-, and Bug-types such as Ferroseed, Klinklang, and Scyther. Hidden Power Ice is an option to nail bulky Grass-types such as Vileplume and bulky Flying-types such as Xatu in one moveslot without reducing Lilligant's speed IV. Hidden Power Rock is an alternative to nail Fletchinder on the switch. Lastly, Nature Power, which turns into Tri Attack, has great neutral coverage with Lilligant's Grass-type attacks and hits Poison-types such as Garbodor and Weezing harder than neutral Hidden Powers. Furthermore, it can land a lucky status condition on foes. It can also crucially allow Lilligant to bypass Sucker Punch from users such as Kangaskhan and Cacturne. Sleep Powder eases setup and shuts down foes that are slower than Lilligant.

Set Details
========

Life Orb is used to further amplify Lilligant's already high damage output. Miracle Seed can be used over Life Orb to boost Lilligant's Giga Drains, but it does not boost any of its other moves. Chlorophyll grants Lilligant a better matchup against occasional sun teams. 252 EVs are placed in Special Attack to maximize Lilligant's power. Maximum Speed investment with a Timid nature allows Lilligant to outspeed threats such as positive-natured Sawk and Mesprit and neutral-natured Kangaskhan and Zangoose before boosting, as well as to Speed tie Jolly variants of the latter two Pokemon, if not running Hidden Power Fire. The combination of Coba Berry and Hidden Power Rock can be used to take a Flying-type attack from Fletchinder and Scyther and OHKO them in retaliation. Lum Berry acts as a safety net against annoying status conditions such as poison and paralysis and allows Lilligant to switch into Water-types more safely, most of which carry Scald. Finally, Yache Berry is also an option to take a hit from Ice-types such as Jynx and retaliate, but its usage is quite situational.

Usage Tips
========

Players should only attempt to sweep once Lilligant's checks and counters have been weakened or eliminated, otherwise Lilligant may be forced out regardless. It should also be noted that Lilligant needs two boosts to outspeed some Choice Scarf users such as Pyroar, Scyther, and Rotom. Players should switch Lilligant into bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Quagsire and Rhydon, as Lilligant resist their STAB moves. However, it cannot safely switch into the latter's Rock Blast and Megahorn. Try to bring Lilligant in on predicted switches, as Lilligant does not like taking unnecessary damage. Players should also not use Sleep Powder recklessly, as it has poor accuracy and grants free switches to Pokemon such as Magmortar and Xatu. Try to predict the opponent's switches into Lilligant's counters, and use Sleep Powder to make it easier to set up. Lilligant can use Sleep Powder early-game to support its teammates or use it late-game when it will attempt to sweep. Players should predict when their opponent will send in certain Pokemon as sleep fodder. This can be accomplished in Team Preview by looking for the least-useful Pokemon on the opponent's team in its current matchup, as well as mid-battle by looking for weakened Pokemon on the opponent's team. If Lilligant is not your win condition, it can be used to poke holes in the opposing team to support its teammates.

Team Options
========

Water-types such as Samurott, Kabutops, and Lanturn can benefit Lilligant, as they can dispatch Fire-types such as Fletchinder and Pyroar for it. Entry hazards can also greatly aid Lilligant by weakening its checks and counters; good setters include Carracosta, Garbodor, and Archeops. Carracosta in particular can handle Fire-, Flying-, and Ice-types for Lilligant, while Lilligant can deal with Ground- and Electric-types for it. Entry hazards can also pick up crucial KOs for Lilligant that it cannot achieve without them. For instance, Stealth Rock guarantees a 2HKO on Malamar with +1 Life Orb-boosted Giga Drain after Leftovers recovery. Wallbreakers such as Kangaskhan, Aurorus, and Tauros can greatly benefit Lilligant, as they can weaken its checks and counters with their massive offensive presence. Lastly, Fighting-types such as Gurdurr, Hariyama, and Sawk make good partners, as they can get rid of Steel-types such as Klinklang and Mawile as well as Bouffalant, one of the best counters to Lilligant. Hariyama is a great partner in particular, as it can handle Ice- and Fire-types for Lilligant. Sawk and Hariyama can also carry coverage moves such as Earthquake to weaken Poison-types such as Garbodor and Muk.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Healing Wish
move 2: Leaf Storm / Petal Dance
move 3: Petal Dance / Giga Drain
move 4: Hidden Power Rock
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Chlorophyll / Own Tempo
nature: Modest / Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Healing Wish allows Lilligant to fully heal its weakened teammates once its job is done, at the cost of Lilligant's life. Leaf Storm is an incredibly powerful STAB move, while Petal Dance is an option to make Lilligant a fearsome late-game sweeper and works well in conjunction with Own Tempo. Giga Drain is Lilligant's safest yet weakest usable STAB move, improving Lilligant's longevity. Hidden Power Rock nails Fire-Types such as Pyroar and Fletchinder on the switch and hits Scyther hard. Hidden Power Rock is not a strict necessity in the last slot, as it is very weak and it will rarely see use over Healing Wish or Lilligant's STAB attacks. As such, another Grass-type move can be used over it.

Set Details
========

Choice Scarf makes Lilligant a fearsome late-game sweeper and revenge killer and lets it outspeed opposing Choice Scarf users such as Mesprit and Rotom-S. Chlorophyll grants Lilligant a better matchup against occasional sun teams. Own Tempo works well in conjunction with Petal Dance, as Lilligant will not become confused. 252 EVs in Special Attack along with a Modest nature maximize Lilligant's power, while maximum Speed investment allows Lilligant to outspeed certain Choice Scarf users and boosted sweepers such as Mesprit and Rock Polish Rhydon, respectively. A Timid nature is an option if Lilligant desires to outspeed Choice Scarf Rotom-S and Mesprit.

Usage Tips
========

This set is mainly to be used as a revenge killer and a late-game cleaner once its checks and counters have been weakened or knocked out. Healing Wish allows players to play their setup Pokemon more aggressively early-game, as they can wear down Lilligant's checks and counters and be fully healed late-game to sweep teams. Lilligant should only use Healing Wish once its job is done and it needs to heal up its teammates. If Lilligant is your win condition, players should keep it healthy during the battle and should not use Healing Wish. If Leaf Storm is used, players should use Lilligant as a hit-and-run pokemon. If Petal Dance is used, players should not lock themselves into it recklessly if there are pokemon on the opposing team that can take a hit or two and retaliate. It is also encouraged for players not to lock Lilligant into a coverage move unless it is very crucial to knock out its target; it can give ample opportunities for Pokemon such as Klinklang and Mismagius to set up on it.

Team Options
========

Setup sweepers such as Shell Smash Carracosta, Klinklang, and Nasty Plot Jynx make good partners, as they enjoy having the second chance to sweep teams that Healing Wish grants. Moreover, Fire-types such as Pyroar and Fletchinder are excellent partners, as they can handle Steel-types such as Mawile and Klinklang, which Lilligant loses to, while Lilligant can handle Water-types such as Samurott and Lanturn for them. Psychic-types such as Xatu and Mesprit can beat Poison-types such as Vileplume and Garbodor with their Psychic-type attacks. They also have the added benefit of having coverage moves that can help lure out and weaken Lilligant's checks and counters. Heat Wave from Xatu deals with Grass-, Bug-, and Steel-types such as Ferroseed, Scyther, and Klinklang. Signal Beam from Mesprit deals with Malamar, which can set up on Lilligant.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Leech Seed grants Lilligant added recovery while wearing down its foes, but Lilligant loses out on coverage. Synthesis and Heal Bell lend Lilligant a more supportive role. Substitute can be used to ease prediction and block status, but again, Lilligant loses out on coverage. Quiver Dance + Petal Dance with Own Tempo is a viable option, but Petal Dance's lock-in effect might give the opponent a chance to revenge kill it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Poison-types such as Garbodor, Muk, Roselia, and Vileplume can take any attack from Lilligant and retaliate with their respective STAB attacks. However, the former two have to be careful of Sleep Powder from Lilligant, as it can cripple them severely, and the latter two fear Hidden Power Fire variants. Muk takes very minimal damage from Hidden Power and can burn its sleep turns by staying on the field and proceed to KO Lilligant with Gunk Shot.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types such as Magmortar, Pyroar, and Ninetales can beat Lilligant, but all of them should be wary of Hidden Power Rock variants. Magmortar is immune to Sleep Powder, and Assault Vest variants of Magmortar can survive a boosted Hidden Power Rock and retaliate with a STAB move. Pyroar and Ninetales naturally outspeed Lilligant and can use their powerful Fire STAB moves to heavily damage it.

**Flying-types**: Xatu is immune to Lilligant's Sleep Powder and resists Lilligant's STAB moves. It can set up a Calm Mind against Lilligant, paralyze it, or pivot out with a super effective U-turn. Other bulky Flying-types such as Vullaby fear boosted Hidden Power Rock, but Vullaby can take a hit from Lilligant at full health and is immune to Sleep Powder. Offensive Flying-types such as Fletchinder, Rotom-S, and Scyther only fear Hidden Power Rock and Sleep Powder and can use their powerful Flying-type moves to heavily damage Lilligant. The latter has to be careful of Hidden Power Fire too. Fletchinder deserves a special mention for being one of Lilligant's most reliable revenge killers due to its access to priority Acrobatics.

**Pokemon with Sap Sipper**: Pokemon that have the ability Sap Sipper, such as Miltank and Bouffalant, are immune to Lilligant's STAB moves as well as Sleep Powder (RC) and take minimal damage from its coverage moves. Bouffalant is also able to set up with Swords Dance against Lilligant.

**Ice-types**: Bulky Ice-types such as Cryogonal can take a hit from Lilligant and only fear Sleep Powder. Other Ice-types such as Jynx and Aurorus cannot safely switch in, but both of them can KO Lilligant with their STAB moves.

Really don't like the sound of Nature Power on Scarf, it's like just there for the status chance 'cause without a boost it can't do anything to Grass resists.

Overview
  • I'd reword 'beat bulky Water-types' into 'switch into bulky Water-types,' since outside of Quag most boosters can put a lot of pressure on bulky Waters after a boost.
QD
  • HP Rock needs a mention in Moves (no slash), it baits the shit out of Fletch
  • You can also mention that Lilligant outspeeds Adamant Kangaskhan and Zangoose and that they need Jolly to tie / outspeed HP Fire variants
Scarf
  • Defog / Rapid Spin isn't necessary support, remove it
OO
  • Add Substitute, QD + Petal Dance, and HP Ice here (all separate bullets)
C&C
  • The Fire-types is weird, I don't like the wording. Magmortar isn't the only one that needs to look out for HP Rock (all of them do), but mention that AV Mag can take a boosted HP Rock if it needs. Scarf Pyroar isn't a good set (yes ik it's on the analysis) and shouldn't be mentioned. And the last sentence about Ninetales applies to all three as well.
  • Mention what Xatu does back to Lilligant, it can either U-turn, set up alongside it with CM, or paralyze it.
  • Scyther (especially non-Evio) and Vivillon also take a lot from HP Fire, so don't say they have nothing to fear.
  • Garbo doesn't need Haze to beat Lilli, Gunk Shot OHKOes. Also mention that Vileplume has a really shaky matchup against HP Fire variants
Implement this pls -Kal- and I'll look at it again later

Overview

Merge the 3rd bullet point with another one.
Don't list the numerical stats, it's not necessary.

QD

HP Rock's main use is to bait in Fletchinder (and it's not always switching into lilli bc of sleep powder) but it also hits magnortar, Pyroar, xatu, and scyther, as well as shedinja lol.

Mention that lum Berry has the benefit of making lilligant a safer switch in to / check to water types as it cures scald burns and toxic (which you mentioned already).

Miltank is so bad and irrelevant, I wouldn't mention it at all. Fighting types don't seem like that noteworthy of teammates bc all they do really is stack a flying weakness and pressure bouffalant - remove them or make this bullet much later in the section.

Don't mention entry hazard support in team options if you don't have any relevant 2HKOs or OHKOs that entry hazards help achieve, otherwise they're just arbitrary.

Scarf

Remove modest slash, it really needs the speed.
De-slash nature power lol

C&C
To be frank you could make the sap sipper section just bouffalant because of how bad Miltank is, and also it shouldn't be the first section.

Looking better, nice work.

Mention Yache Berry in Set Details for Quiver Dance as an option to bone Sneasel.

Cut "Has a nice Special Attack stat" and "Has frail 70 / 75 /75 defenses" from the Overview. There are stat bars at the top of the analysis.

Move the HP Rock mention to Other Options alongside the Coba Berry mention. Put HP Ice in Moves for Quiver Dance as a way of hitting bulky Grass-types + Xatu and other Flying-types without dropping your Speed IV.

"Though if hp fire is used, it can only speedtie with Sawk and Mesprit" - it still outspeeds them with HP Fire.

Expand on Healing Wish in Usage Tips. Right now, it doesn't really tell you much outside of "don't click it if you need Lilligant," which should be a given. Healing Wish support allows you to play recklessly with setup sweepers early-game to break their own checks and counters because you can heal them back to full later on in the match.

Keep Miltank in Cecks and Counters imo. It's not a great Pokemon, but Lilligant literally cannot do anything to it.

Cut Vivillon from Checks and Counters. It literally can't switch in on anything because unboosted Life Orb Hidden Power does 88% min. Mention Togetic and Vullaby under Flying-types. They're both super fat, and the former can Thunder Wave Lilligant while the latter takes 0 from anything but HP Ice/Rock and is immune to Sleep Powder thanks to Overcoat.

Mention Roselia under Poison-type checks.

[Overview]
  • One of the few setup sweepers in the tier that can switch into bulky Water-types
Not necessary to mention or completely true, remove it.

[QD]
Personally I'd like to see HP Ice Slashed after HP Fire instead of Nature Power since hitting those targets, especially Xatu, seems significantly more beneficial than Nature Power.

[SD]
It can't hurt to mention other Ice types that Yache Berry helps with, but stress that its mainly for Sneasel.

[UT]
Mention that it can switch into bulky water types, especially if it is carrying Lum Berry (albeit not that great of an item on lilli) as well as some ground types like Rhydon (can switch in on eq but not rock blast/meghorn), Sandslash, and Claydol.

[TO]
Pls move the point about Fighting types lower down on the list for the reasons I said earlier. In that point also mention that Sawk and Hariyama can lure in Poison types with their coverage moves, and Hariyama checks Ice and Fire types for Lilligant.
Again, don't mention entry hazard support in team options if you can't list any specific OHKOs / 2HKOs that rocks or spikes help it achieve. I'm sure there are some notable 2HKOs that they help with, but I'm not going to find them for you.

[OO]
Remove HP Ice.

Good job, after the above is done write it up.
QC 2/3

Maybe mention that one of the selling points of Nature Power is its ability to avoid Sucker Punches. Not a huge deal since she has sleep powder, but if she's already slept another mon it's nice, and people don't always realize this.

Disagree with cutting the ability to switch into Waters from the Overview. A lot of the time I'm using Lilligant it's because it can switch into Scalds and get free setup on most bulky Water-types. I think it's a really important part of running Lilligant personally!

**Poison-Types**: Poison-Types such as Garbodor, Muk, Roselia and Vileplume can take any attack from Lilligant and retaliate with their respective Poison-Type attacks. However, the former two have to be careful of Sleep Powder from Lilligant as it can cripple them severely and the latter two fear Hidden Power Fire variants. muk takes little from hidden power and can burn the sleep and wake up and KO.

**Fire-Types**: Fire-Types such as Magmortar, Pyroar and Ninetales can beat Lilligant. The former is immune to Sleep Powder. All of them should should be wary of Hidden Power Rock variants of Lilligant. Assault Vest variants of Magmortar can live a boosted Hidden Power Rock from Lilligant and retaliate with its Fire STAB move. Pyroar and Ninetales naturally outspeeds Lilligant and can use its powerful Fire STAB to heavily damage it though it must be careful of Lilligant's coverage moves and Sleep Powder.

**Flying-Types**: Xatu is immune to Lilligant's Sleep Powder and resist Lilligant's Grass-type STAB moves. It can then either set up a Calm Mind against Lilligant, paralyze it or pivot out with a super effective U-Turn. Other bulky Flying-Types such as Togetic and Vullaby fear boosted Hidden Power Rock but can take a hit from Lilligant at full health and the former is able to cripple it with Thunder Wave while the latter is immune to Sleep Powder. Offensive Flying-Types such as Fletchinder, Rotom-S and Scyther only fear Hidden Power Rock and Sleep Powder and can use their powerful Flying-Type moves to heavily damage it. The latter two have to be careful of Hidden Power Fire too. Fletchinder deserves a special mention for being one of the most reliable revenge killers to Lilligant due to its access to priority Acrobatics.

**Pokemon With Sap Sipper**: Pokemon that have the ability Sap Sipper, such as Miltank and Bouffalant are all immune to Lilligant's Grass-Type STAB moves and Sleep Powder and take minimum damage from its coverage moves. bouff can use it for setup fodder

**Ice-Types**: Bulky Ice-Types such as Cryogonal can take a hit from Lilligant and only fears Sleep Powder. Other Ice-Types such as Jynx and Sneasel all cannot safely switch in and take a hit but the both of them can outspeed an unboosted Lilligant and KO it with their Ice-type STAB moves. The latter has access to priority Ice Shard which can pick off a boosted Lilligant if it is low on health.

One more thing before you move to GP - slash Modest on Choice Scarf, before Timid imo. I played a bunch of games with Scarf Lilligant and originally I had it Timid, but after changing it to Modest the difference in power was much more beneficial than the speed. There arent that many mons it outspeeds with Timid, and the +spe nature is more important on QD to outspeed stuff unboosted. Additionally, mention in moves that you really don't have to run a Hidden Power, as when I used scarf Lilligant most of the time you just click Healing Wish or Leaf Storm, and not to mention it's pretty darn weak without a boosting item.

[OVERVIEW]
Lilligant is able to effectively utilize one of the best boosting moves in the game, Quiver Dance. Furthermore, Lilligant has access to Sleep Powder, [add comma] which can ease setup for it and shut down potential threats. Lilligant is also special for being one of the few setup sweepers in the tier that can reliably switch into bulky Water-types. Moreover, Lilligant has Healing Wish which makes it a great offensive support pokemon. Unfortunately, Lilligant has limited coverage, and thus must rely on Hidden Power and Nature Power. Lilligant's poor defensive typing leaves it very vulnerable to Ice-, Flying-, Poison-, and Fire-types; [add semicolon] ,all of which are very common in pokemon such as Cryogonal, Fletchinder, Vileplume, and Magmortar are all quite common in NU. In addition, Lilligant is weak to common priority moves such as Acrobatics from Fletchinder. [I don't play NU, is Ice Shard particularly common? If not, change this sentence to "Lilligant is weak to Fletchinder's Acrobatics."]

Moves

Quiver Dance is an amazing move as it boosts Lilligant's Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed all in one fell swoop. Giga Drain is used as a consistent STAB move that has the additional benefit of healing Lilligant. Hidden Power Fire hits Grass-, Steel-, [add oxford comma] and Bug-types such as Ferroseed, Klinklang, and Scyther. Hidden Power Ice is an option to nail bulky Grass-types [types was capitalized] such as Vileplume and bulky Flying-types such as Xatu in one moveslot without reducing Lilligant's speed IV. [If this is a selling point, it couldn't hurt to mention Pokemon that Lilligant likes being able to speed tie] Hidden Power Rock is an alternative to nail Fletchinder on the switch in. Lastly, Nature Power, which turns into Tri Attack, [change to comma] has great neutral coverage with Lilligant's Grass-type attacks and hits Poison-types such as Garbodor and Weezing harder than neutral Hidden Powers. Furthermore, it can land a lucky status condition on foes. It can also crucially allow Lilligant to bypass Sucker Punch from users such as Kangaskhan and Cacturne which would be crucial. Sleep Powder eases set-up and shuts down foes that are slower than Lilligant.

Set Details
========

Life Orb is used to further amplify Lilligant's already high damage output. Miracle Seed can be used over Life Orb to boost Lilligant's Giga Drains, [add comma] but it does not boost any of its other moves. Chlorophyll grants Lilligant a better matchup against occasional sun teams. 252 EVs are placed in Special Attack is used to maximize Lilligant's power. The combination of Coba Berry and Hidden Power Rock can be used to take a Flying-type attack from Fletchinder and Scyther and OHKO them with Hidden Power Rock in retaliation. Lum Berry acts as a safety net against annoying status conditions such as poison and paralysis, and grants Lilligant a safer switch-in against Water-types, [add comma] as most of them carry Scald which can burn it. Finally, Yache Berry is also an option to take a hit from Ice-types such as Jynx and retaliate back, [add comma] but its usage is quite situational.

Usage Tips
========

Players should only attempt to sweep once Lilligant's checks and counters are weakened or eliminated, otherwise Lilligant may be forced out regardless. It should also be noted that Lilligant needs at least two boosts to outspeed some Choice Scarfed users such as Pyroar, Scyther, and Rotom. Players should switch Lilligant into Bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Quagsire and Rhydon, as Lilligant resist their STABs. However, it cannot safely switch into the latter's Rock Blast and Megahorn. Try to bring Lilligant in on predicted switches as Lilligant does not like taking unnecessary damage. Players should also not recklessly use Sleep Powder recklessly, as it has poor accuracy and grants free switch-ins to Pokemon such as Magmortar and Xatu a free switch and it has unreliable accuracy. Try to predict the opponent's switches into Lilligant's counters and use Sleep Powder to make it easier for it to set up. Lilligant can use Sleep Powder early-game to support its teammates or use it late-game when it will attempt to sweep. Players should predict when their opponents will send in certain Pokemon as sleep fodder. This can be accomplished in Team Preview by looking for the least-useful Pokemon on the opponent's team in its current matchup, as well as mid-battle by looking for weakened Pokemon on the opponent's team. [Your sentence here was a bit difficult for me to make sense of; is this what you meant?] If Lilligant is not your win condition, it can be used to poke holes in the opposing team to support its teammates.

Team Options
========

Water-types such as Samurott, Kabutops, and Lanturn can benefit Lilligant as they can dispatch Fire-types such as Fletchinder and Pyroar for it. Entry Hazards can also greatly aid Lilligant. Carracosta, Garbodor, and Archeops are few good examples that can set up entry hazards to weaken Lilligant's checks and counters. The former makes a great partner in particular as Carracosta in particular can handle Fire-, Flying- [add hyphen], and Ice-types for Lilligant while Lilligant can deal with Ground- and Electric-types for it. Entry hazards can also pick up crucial KOs for Lilligant that it cannot achieve without them. For instance, Stealth Rock guarantees a 2HKO on Malamar with +1 Life Orb Giga Drain after it takes Stealth Rock damage and Leftovers recovery. Wallbreakers such as Kangaskhan, Aurorus, and Tauros can greatly benefit Lilligant as they can weaken its checks and counters with their massive offensive presence. Lastly, Fighting-types such as Gurdurr, Hariyama, and Sawk make good partners as they can get rid of Steel-types such as Klinklang and Mawile as well as Bouffalant, one of the best counters to Lilligant. Hariyama is a great partner in particular as it can handle Ice- and Fire-types for Lilligant. The latter two can also carry coverage moves such as Earthquake to weaken Poison-types such as Garbodor and Muk. [Sawk and Hariyama? It's not immediately clear which Pokemon you're referring to so just spell it out]

Healing Wish allows Lilligant to fully heal its weakened teammates, [add comma] once its job is done, [add comma] at the cost of Lilligant's own life. Leaf Storm is used as an incredibly powerful STAB move. Petal Dance is an option to make Lilligant a fearsome late-game sweeper and works well in conjunction with Own Tempo. Giga Drain is Lilligant's safest yet weakest usable STAB move, improving Lilligant's longevity. Hidden Power Rock nails Fire-Types such as Pyroar and Fletchinder on the switch, [change to comma] and also hits Scyther hard. Hidden Power Rock is not a strict necessity in the last slot, [add comma] as it is very weak and it will rarely see use over Healing Wish or Lilligant's STAB attacks.

Choice Scarf makes Lilligant a fearsome late-game sweeper and revenge killer and lets it outspeed opposing Choice Scarf users such as Mesprit and Rotom-S. Chlorophyll grants Lilligant has a better matchup against occasional sun teams. Own Tempo works well in conjunction with Petal Dance as Lilligant will not become confused. 252 EVs in Special Attack along with a Modest nature maximizes Lilligant's power, while maximum speed investment is to maximize Lilligant's speed allows Lilligant to outspeed certain scarfers and boosted sweepers. [If this isn't accurate, by all means change or add to it, and please specify which ones. This sentence before editing tells the reader nothing that isn't immediately apparent; it is fluff.] A Modest nature is used to maximize Lilligant's attacks. A Timid nature is an option if Lilligant desires to outspeed Choice Scarf Rotom-S and Mesprit.

Usage Tips
========

This set is mainly used as a revenge killer and a late-game cleaner once its checks and counters are weakened or knocked out. Healing Wish allows players to play their setup Pokemon more aggressively early-game as they can wear down Lilligant's checks and counters and be fully healed Late-game to sweep teams. Lilligant should only use Healing Wish once its job is done and it needs to heal up its teammates. [The scenario you just described doesn't totally make sense to me. This role is very different from, and actually negates, Lilligant's role as a late-game cleaner (why use Healing Wish when your teammates have worn down Lilligant's checks and counters and she's ready to clean up?). A large part of scarf Lilligant's appeal seems to be this versatility of roles: healer, late-game cleaner, revenge killer. But it goes without saying that you're not going to be using Healing Wish if Lilligant is your late-game cleaner. I'd like it if you'd go into more detail about when to use Lilligant in each role.] If Leaf Storm is used, players should use Lilligant as a hit-and-run pokemon. If Petal Dance is used, players should not lock themselves into it so recklessly if there are pokemon on the opposing team that can take a hit or two and retaliate back at Lilligant. It is also encouraged for players to not lock Lilligant into a coverage move unless it is very crucial to knock out its target; it can give ample opportunities for other Pokemon such as Klinklang and Mismagius to set up on it.

Team Options
========

Setup sweepers such as Shell Smash Carracosta, Swords Dance Sneasel and Nasty Plot Jynx make good partners as they enjoy having the second chance to sweep teams that Healing Wish grants. Moreover, Fire-Types such as Pyroar and Fletchinder are excellent partners as they can handle Steel-Types such as Mawile and Klinklang that Lilligant loses to while Lilligant can handle Water-Types such as Samurott and Lanturn for them. Psychic-Types such as Xatu and Mesprit can beat Poison-Types such as Vileplume and Garbodor with their Psychic-type attacks. They also have the added benefit of having coverage moves that can help lure out and weaken Lilligant's checks and counters. Heat Wave from Xatu deals with Grass-, Bug-, [add comma] and Steel-types such as Ferroseed, Scyther, [add comma] and Klinklang. [remove space before period] Signal Beam from Mesprit deals with Malamar, which can set up on with Lilligant.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Leech Seed grants Lilligant added recovery while wearing down its foes but it loses out on coverage. Synthesis and Heal Bell lend Lilligant have a more supportive role. Substitute can be used to ease prediction and block status but again, Lilligant loses out on coverage. Quiver Dance + Petal Dance with Own Tempo is a viable option, but Lilligant risks locking itself into Petal Dance which gives the opponent a chance to revenge kill it.

Assault Vest variants of Magmortar can survive [I've seen people on this site use live as a transitive verb, but I feel weird about it] a boosted Hidden Power Rock from Lilligant and retaliate with a STAB move. Pyroar and Ninetales naturally outspeed Lilligant and can use their powerful Fire STAB to heavily damage it, [add comma] though they must be careful of Lilligant's coverage moves and Sleep Powder.
