[LLAMA Round 3] Pool C- AOPSUser vs Eternal Drifter

Rules said:
3v3 Singles
Enforced 2 Day DQ Time for players, 3 for referees.
Each player has one DQ warning a match. Go over once, you will use your warning. Go over twice, you will be DQed. This will be at the discretion of the player or one of the hosts if the player takes too long. Referees going over DQ will probably be sacked and replaced.
Infinite Recoveries/Chills per Pokémon.
Three Substitutions per player excluding KO Substitutions.
One Mega Evolution
Switch = OK
Abilities = ALL
Items = ON; you do not have to have the item in possession but the item must not be banned, similar to SICK (Banned Items: Soul Dew, Dark Stone, Light Stone, Diancite, Prison Bottle).
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
If there are matches still going on come Sunday the 24th of May at Midnight (GMT +00:00), then the DQ Times of those matches will shorten to 1 Day Player, 1 Day Referee.
And here we are at the final round before people are gonna be axed off lickity-split! Both of these players are in the middle of their bracket, and only the winner can possibly move on to the next round... and even then, Maxim might just be able to grab the spot! I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's highly possible that unless this match is a boring smack down, this battle might just be for naught (but Top 3 is just such a terrible idea...)! Let's see what our combatants brought!

Oh uh, this might not turn out well for Eternal Drifter... with the types he brought, both Thundurus and Octillery will be able to stand up pretty strong while ED doesn't have anything that could obviously rip those two apart... will he be able to play his way out of a subpar matchup, or will AOPS just smash through?! Let's find out!

RNG roll (for first send out, <=5000 = AOPS, best 2 of 3) 3918, 1504, 8383

IF Taunt, use Protect that action. Do not use this substitution if already Taunted or if you used Protect the previous action.

And we're off to a somewhat slow but even start! Both AOPS and ED play it safe, giving us a very neutral match-up to begin the match! Kitsune immediately activates her Drought once she's on the battlefield, and with Sun and her Fire Stone, those Fire attacks really aren't something to be taken lightly!

However, Bruce begins the real battle by abusing his superior speed to soar far up into the sky before Kitsune could attack it, but the Ninetales is prepared and simply sits back and cooks up a little Nasty Plot, audibly cackling under her breath until Bruce comes right down and smacks her with a Fly, dealing only a modest amount of damage, but it broke Kitsune out of her little trance all right!

AOPS, wishing to gain an advantageous match-up next round, forgoes racking up damage and has Bruce perform a light U-Turn that barely does anything to Kitsune now, but she'll definitely be feeling it next round! In response, Kitsune lets loose a Heat Wave that is affecting everyone in the stadium (by the way, this match is brought to you by Fresh Water brand bottled water! Get some in a vending machine near you!) and absolutely roasts Bruce, doing an impressive amount of damage for a move that isn't even super-effective!

Bruce ends this round with a bit of stall, performing a Rain Dance that Kitsune immediately disperses by summoning a Sunny Day! This match is just starting up folks, as AOPS may have some momentum from the switch, but Ninetales is a mon with quite a few tricks that can absolutely disrupt the switch-in if AOPS isn't careful! But enough talking, let's get to more fighting!

Hephaestus makes a rather explosive entrance, popping out of its Poke Ball and instantly Mega Evolving into the hulking brute that is Mega Camerupt, and with Kitsune's very limited coverage, it looks like he's gonna have a hell of a hard time keeping up! However, it doesn't look like ED is frightened one bit, and Kitsune seems to get some extra morale from her trainer, firing off a frighteningly beautiful Fire Blast that looks like it would lay down the hurt on most mons, but with Mega Camerupt's natural bulk plus a resistance, it ends up doing only an average amount of damage. Hephaestus on the other hand jumps up and slams all of his hoofs on the ground at once, dishing out a highly powerful Earth Power that sends Kitsune flying backwards in pain! Looks like fighting fire with fire might not end up working that much after all....

Trickery on the other hand? That's right up Kitsune's ally as she expands a large amount of her remaining energy to fire off a Pain Split, which is both a sigh of relief for Kitsune as she regains some much-needed health back and a cry of pain as Hephaestus takes more damage form this than he did from the Fire Blast! Absolutely not pleased with this, Hephaestus stomps repeatedly around the battlefield, delivering another Earth Power that takes away almost double the HP recovered from Pain Split, but this is a Mega Camerupt we're talking about, so that's not even that surprising!

Like many rounds, this one starts very much like how it started- Kitsune tries very hard to deal as much damage with this last Fire Blast but obviously ends up doing the same amount, and Hephaestus regains his calm after realizing just how little Kitsune has left in her after the third Earth Power! Looks are a bit deceiving here though- ED looks like he might be in a bit of trouble with Kitsune on the verge of being KO'd, but he's only behind by 12 HP total, though Kitsune's energy level is a bit unsettling. Drifter is now able to get Kitsune out, but it might not be the best choice for him to let something come in and take the heat off!

And Kitsune tries her best to stay in the game with another Pain Split, balancing out her HP with Hephaestus' yet again, but it doesn't look good for Kitsune at all- she seems to be almost completely exhausted while Hephaestus is still raring to go, and with yet another Earth Power that once again blows Kitsune way back, it looks like Hephaestus is going to be standing for a little while longer....

Kitsune tries to deal as much damage as it can in the next two actions, but Hephaestus absolutely tanks both Kitsune's Dark Pulse and Ember, even taking an action to set up Stealth Rock to hurt Blastoise a good amount and Moltres a lot before finishing the Ninetales off with an Earthquake! Camerupt is within easy KO range of Blastoise right now and it even has Rapid Spin to make it easier for Moltres, but as it stands right now, things aren't looking that great for ED!

This round, we don't have many tricks, with Bruce just punishing Kappa with devastating Electric STAB attacks while, after clearing the way a bit for Moltres with a Rapid Spin, Kappa begins throwing out some Ice-type attacks that do a large amount of damage as well, but just not quite enough to keep up with Bruce!

Wish it'd be better to beat around the bush here, but let's face it- ED is in a pretty crappy position. With Ninetales down, Kappa in the red, and Moltres having at best a neutral matchup against all three of AOPS' mons, two of which still have room to take two more hits or so, it's gonna take a lot to have AOPS not come out of this with a victory, but we've still got a ways to go here!

Eternal Drifter does his best to keep his Blastoise alive, but to little avail. Instead of blasting Bruce before it falls, Kappa keeps himself from being poisoned, but next round AOPS will likely easily dispose of it, but the real question is whether Bruce will have enough HP to take an attack from Moltres!

IF a damaging priority move is ordered in a combo, THEN Protect.
IF said combo is Fake Out+Fake Out, disregard the above substitution.

I actually think that since you didn't specify precedence and your second sub is above your third, it wouldn't do anything, but not 100% sure

Kappa lets out a blisteringly fast Aqua Jet that does a surprising amount of damage, but Bruce is still able to finish Kappa off with a Thunder Shock, leaving the score at 3-1! Looks like it's all in the bag for AOPS now....
