Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

    Abilities:
    Synchronize: Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and pass on any status inflicted on them to their foe. Due to their body structure, Poison types cannot be poisoned and Fire types cannot be burned in this manner.
    Inner Focus: When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.
    Magic Guard (DW): This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, and Burn. It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not take any damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks.     The awkward moment when I realise this was a Double, not Singles. Oops. Oh well. I have no training items, so Jack the Spinarak and David the Abra, get out there! Abra picks up EC 4 here, but I'll be nice and not evolve him.

    Let's get out there boys. David, set up a sub to protect yourself against those nasty powders, then hit Lotad with a Zap Cannon. Let's see how he likes paralysis. Finish up with a Psyshock against Bulbasaur. Meanwhile Jack, use my favourite move in ASB - Toxic that Lotad, and follow up with a String Shot and Electroweb combo to bind them both to the ground and slow them down! Should your combo fail on action 2, use it on action 3!

    If your combo fails a2, use it a3.

    Is there any reason why bulba still has 2 actions of immoblisation while lotad only has one?
    Lotad: Bubblebeam Abra~Surf~Bubblebeam Abra
    If Abra uses Telport successfully when you are using Bubblebeam, use Surf and push actions back.
    If Spinarak successfully use Protect on Abra, redirect relevant attacks to Spinarak
    Bulbasaur: Giga Drain Abra~Nature Power Abra (should be Seed Bomb here?)~Power Whip Abra
    If Abra uses Teleport successfully, use Razor Leaf and Push actions back.
    If Spinarak successfully uses Protect on Abra, use Stun Spore on Spinarak.

    The protect subs take precedence over the teleport subs.

    I think that's what the "1858 = move" refers to. He didn't roll for a3 though, even if it was targetless there should still be a roll to see if the para stage drops.
