lockjaw's Simisage is the most creative, plus you can bluff a choice item and make them think you are locked into seed bomb and then bop them.

So after I posted Leafeon a week ago I made this team that added Tank Regice as a beneficiary of Monferno being lured. The pair have great synergy together. Regice can safely come in on a lot of threats Leafeon has a hard time with and immediately threaten them. Bulky Grass types ( Gourgeist, Tangela), speedy Special attacking waters (Floatzel, Simipour, Swanna), and some Ice types like Articuno, Rotom-F, and Avalugg are all checked by Regice. Leafeon supports Regice by weakening Steel types like Metang and Klang as well as checking some of Regice's counters like Chinchou, special walls such as Audino, and of course Monferno. I chose Bulky T-wave Regice over anything else because I wanted something that could switch into threats multiple times a match as well as the fact that Leafeon really loves teams being slowed down via t-wave to facilitate a sweep late game. I gave Leafeon a Lum Berry mostly just so it has an easier match up versus Clefairy. Of course this core is incredibly weak to Fire types so the team has Gabite and Lumineon. I encourage you to try this team it's helped me get a lot of wins in tours and other random battles on ladder and in private matches.

This is always gonna be less popular than the part where we make the actual lures but this is a cool twist.

Pawniard @ Eviolite
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance

Leafeon @ Yache Berry
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off

Pawniard is an amazing partner with Leafeon since Monferno is a huge obstacle in SD Pawniard's path. Now with the teams likely dark resist gone (Clefairy/Mawile could be on it but they get bopped by Iron Head) while Leave in also helps to weaken Politoad and Lapras who can be annoying for Pawniard. Pawniard can't contribute much to Leave in but it counters CroMuk which sets up on Leave in so that's at least something.

Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace

- Swords Dance
- Knock Off

Cacturne @ Life Orb
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Giga Drain
- Dark Pulse
- Sucker Punch
- Focus Blast

This is another good partner for SD AA Leafeon because Cacturne and Leafeon share a lot of checks like Muk and so they can wear down each others' checks accordingly. Monferno is one of the like 2 cacturne checks that offense runs so if you can lure that Cacturne can clean. Obviously this core has lot of trouble with birds (although they can't switch in, and most of them die to sucker after rocks), ice types (also can't switch in), and fire types (most can't switch in). However this core abolishes offense, so it's still pretty cool.

Leafeon @ Yache Berry
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off

Rotom-Frost @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Blizzard
- Volt Switch
- Trick

Basically, Rotom-F is a scary mon to face, but it can't OHKO Monferno with anything. It's also weak to Mach Punch, meaning it gets revenged easily by Monferno. The idea is for Leafeon to just remove it so Rotom has one less thing to worry about while sweeping through a team. Also, you can mindgame tf out of your opponent by switching Leafeon into Mach Punch and confusing the hell out of your opponent, causing them to stay in and unknowingly sack.

Mawile @ Life Orb

Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Blast

Mawile+Leafeon do a good job of wearing down each others' checks/counters. Aerial Ace Leaf can effectively lure and 2HKO Monferno, something that can threaten Mawile with strong Fire STAB. However, Leafeon is still hard walled by stuff like Tangela, Vullaby and Avalugg which is where Maw comes in. AoA can beat these threats making it easier for SD Leaf to sweep.

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Brave Bird

- Pursuit / Hidden Power [Grass]
- Heat Wave
4 SpA Life Orb Murkrow Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mawile: 252-299 (82.8 - 98.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Any other move + heat wave kills. Heat wave is quite specific but it also hits metang, and lets u 1v1 gourgeist if you get burnt. Ik its not creative but there isn't much else than slapping random fire move and at least this is better than the inevitable fire blast dunsparce
