    Bronzong @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Stealth Rock
    - Gyro Ball
    - Trick
    - Earthquake

So luring this thing is actually borderline impossible since either Pokemon have coverage for it, or they flat out lose and are setup bait so... I resorted to some old gens that may hold up some value in this gen, even a slight one. Here is a DPP relic, except with a choice scarf instead of a choice band cause banded frustrations can hurt. So, Bronzong despite looking like a counter on paper (it resists normal, it must beat snorlax right?!) it is absolutely helpless the monster that is snorlax since they can just rest off the toxic, so you can proceed to cripple it by tricking it a scarf and getting some free leftovers. The fact that bronzong is still slower with a scarf than regular curselax (0 IVs -Spe scarf bronzong reaches 94.5 speed, which rounds down to 94 and Snorlax is base 30, so is 96 speed) comes really handy as well, since it can curse first and you can lock it into curse after the snorlax has used it.

    CRIPPLED, AND LURED!

This could come handy to cripple other bulky setup sweepers perhaps... if Z-Moves werent a thing, lul.

    Hoopa @ Fightinium Z
    Ability: Magician
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Focus Punch
    - Power-Up Punch
    - Hyperspace Fury
    - Zen Headbutt

Snorlax can normally switch in on Hoopa on an incoming shadow ball, eat up a focus blast, or focus blast just missing like always, and OKO Hoopa with crunch while getting HP back with leftovers/rest. However, Hoopa surprisingly has a high attack stat and can OKO Snorlax, with rocks up or a little prior damage, with Fightinium Z Focus Punch. You can force switches while clicking Power-Up Punch or Focus Punch. This set also deals with SpD Registeel and Umbreon more reliably. This set isn't the best but it's fun and can lure in some Snorlaxes, Registeel, and Umbreon.

    252 Atk Hoopa All-Out Pummeling (200 BP) vs. 188 HP / 128 Def Snorlax: 462-544 (90.9 - 107%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Snorlax thinking it can switch into Special attacks? Fight Z Garde at +1 has a good chance of blowing tubby back after Rocks. Even with a good chunk of damage from regular Focus Blast, this set aims to reduce the possibility of missing in order to take the King down. Otherwise, you risk losing the beauty on your team in two unboosted hits by a thousand pound bully.

    Week 6: Defensive Gligar
    [IMG]

    Gligar @ Eviolite
    Ability: Sand Veil
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
    Impish Nature
    - Earthquake
    - Roost
    - Defog / Stealth Rock
    - U-turn / Knock Off / Acrobatics / Taunt
The premiere physically defensive Defogger of the tier! Gligar boasts an impressive 65/105 physical bulk which becomes even more impressive due to its ability to utilize an Eviolite. Generally used as a blanket physical attacker check or ground immunity, both of which provide it with multiple opportunities to Defog, U-turn, or Knock Off. Roost chosen for longevity, Earthquake chosen for STAB.

    reserving Z-Ice Punch Rhyperior

    EDIT:

    Rhyperior @ Icium Z
    Ability: Solid Rock
    EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge / Rock Blast
    - Ice Punch

Simple concept. Rhyperior baits Gligar in due to not being able to normally threaten it, and provided it takes any prior damage Z-Ice Punch will take care of it. Gligar also can't KO back which is nice.

    16+ Atk Rhyperior Subzero Slammer (140 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 280-332 (83.8 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    0 Atk Gligar Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Solid Rock Rhyperior: 100-121 (23 - 27.9%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

    Drapion @ Waterium Z
    Ability: Sniper
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Knock Off
    - Swords Dance
    - Poison Jab
    - Aqua Tail

Gligar wants to switch into Physical attacks, and while Knock Off is scary for it, being able to KO Drapion with 2 Earthquakes while sponging attacks seems too good to pass up. You're most likely clicking Swords Dance or Knock Off before this switches in, and when it does, you spray all that inner liquid to drown your fellow scorpion. Aqua Tail also gives Drapion the ability to hit Donphan, Rhyperior for better damage, and Rotom - H for super-effective damage over the other move in competition for its slot, Earthquake.

    calcs (open)
    252 Atk Drapion Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 58-69 (17.3 - 20.6%) -- possible 5HKO
    252 Atk Drapion Hydro Vortex (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gligar: 206-244 (61.6 - 73%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    +2 252 Atk Drapion Hydro Vortex (175 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 276-326 (82.6 - 97.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Gligar has no leftovers and has a duty to Defog Rocks, so likely scenario is it'll be chipped at least to 88% from hazards before switching in, which gives you around 50% at the least to KO with either option (SD or Knock first)

    0 Atk Gligar Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Drapion: 158-188 (56.2 - 66.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO <-risk and reward baby [/calcs]

    Toxitect Escav

    Escavalier @ Leftovers
    Ability: Swarm
    EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 204 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Megahorn
    - Iron Head
    - Toxic
    - Protect

Bit of an unconventional set, but beats non-immunity gligar one on one. Gligar walls escav even without it's eviolite, but does little damage back, which lets escav beat it by toxicing it on the switch then alternating protect and iron head. Cool set in general, since escav lures bulky stuff like mantine, gligar, and ches while threatening umbreon, the tier's best heal beller.

0 Atk Gligar Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 82-97 (23.8 - 28.1%). Subtract 12% for two rounds of lefties, and gligar is looking at a 7hko at best.
    52+ Atk Escavalier Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 60-72 (17.9 - 21.5%)

    Flygon @ Expert Belt
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 80 Atk / 72 SpA / 104 SpD / 252 Spe
    Hasty Nature
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Earthquake
    - Roost
    - Defog/Thunder Punch/U-Turn/Flamethrower/Stone edge

Gligar is a switch in on flygon that can take a hit like eq and slowturn to let a revenge killer switch in without damages.
Flygon ebelt can 2hko gligar with hpice, even if gligar knocks off the item after the first hit.

    76 SpA Expert Belt Flygon Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Gligar: 182-216 (54.4 - 64.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
    76 SpA Flygon Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Gligar: 152-180 (45.5 - 53.8%) -- 35.5% chance to 2HKO

Even if gligar switches in and right after out in order not to be koed it's heavely damaged and without leftovers it's difficoult for him to recover life with roost.

Btw if you knock off the eviolite it can be a ohko.

76 SpA Expert Belt Flygon Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Gligar: 269-317 (80.5 - 94.9%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

That evspread is a sample spread to check salazzle without hpice, there is a low chance of being koed by acid downpour after a nasty plot.

The set can be different dipending of the weaknesses of your team (you need a defogger, you need a mantine check (tpunch), you need a pivot on fire and electric moves, etc.)

    Dodrio @ Flyinium Z
    Ability: Early Bird
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Brave Bird
    - Knock Off
    - Jump Kick
    - Swords Dance

This sets up vs the most Gligar Variants or can SD on the Gligar / bulky steel switch for an inconvinenient surprise. And If you just get a little bit chip on it , you`re able to simply annihilate it with a +2 SSSS after rocks ( way 2 many s ). Usually the prefered choice on the rather uncommon Dodrio would be Fightinium Z Jump Kick ( or Lorb ) which archieves some surprise kills vs for example Diancie , Rhyperior and def Rotom-H while also being able to facilitate the Protect 50 / 50 vs stuff like Registeel but SSSS also serves some positive traits , enabling it to break through Gligar, Cresselia , Torkoal , Donphan , Slowbro , Quagsire and bulky Necrozma , easier , for instance.

    Heres the Calc :
    +2 252 Atk Dodrio Supersonic Skystrike (190 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 256-303 (76.6 - 90.7%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
