Arena: Dojo of the Puddles

To train his apprentices further, the grandmaster decided to have this special Dojo built, in hopes of teaching his students the ability to stand your ground (literally). In the heart of the new building lies the Arena of the Puddles, and although it sounds self-explanatory, there’s more to it. The battling area is two hundred feet wide and long and is square shaped, with the ceiling twenty feet above. The floor is pale brown tile, and the walls are wooden. To make the area fir its name the floor has a five inch layer of water covering it, making the whole arena a huge puddle. Also to add to the strain and to make the battlers concentrate the Grandmaster added water sprayers to add more water and soak the pokemon as the match goes on. The water level will never exceed one foot though. (Credit goes to Glacier Knight for this arena)

Summary: No earthquake or dig, no weather moves. Flying will not work very well because the ceiling only goes up twenty feet. There is water on the ground at all times, so water attacks gain 2BP and fire attack lose 2BP. Also since this is a dojo fighting pokemon feel at home and their attack gain 2BP as well. Water will be spraying at all times, though the water level will never exceed one foot.​

Personality: Upon evolving, Sone has reconsiled his malevolant nature, and has begun to focus his energy on watching the opponent waste away instead of immediantly going in for the kill. All he requires is one toxic attack to win a match. Sone is a loner, and always has been, lurking away from the other team members and doing his own ghastly activities. His personality is enigmatic, but he always outsmarts the other members, even Vayn. He was born of an ancient tribe of Duskull residing in the cave system of Mt. Pyre. The tatoos on his eye and hands illustrate his high ranking in terms of Dusclops. He seems to be at home hear the sea.

Personality: Since her evolution, she has recognized how to recognize patterns. However, she still seeks to change the environment to her advantage. She has learned the power of force, and recognizes it. She is starting to grow an understanding of pokemon as well as people's thoughts. Her tactics are never thought down upon. Her appearance in a match is enigmatic, as she has an array of different strategies she can use. Now, her fighting style differs from her previous one, as now, she has acess to much more mobility, being able to spread a trail of fire as she floats, or fortifying herself with an army of will 'o' wisps. Her friendship with Yuki is a close one, in fact, they only communicate with each other. When Yuki is by her side, she won't lose. She was born of the negative litwicks, emmiting negative light, which can offset normal light, which makes her surroundings dim.

Serd, you're the underdog here. Shimana will go straight at you or not at all. First things first, start things off with a spersonic to our striped menace the zebra. Then, fire off a rock blast at Fuatchimaru. Lastly, lauch another supersonic at the same target!

Sone, things should be pretty easy for you, considering your coverage and bulk. First, spread your deadly toxins to Shimana to severly cripple it. After that, punch Fuatchimaru with a fistfull of thunder twice to go in for the kill, as it's neccesary in this situation.

Battle BGM

Hello and welcome to one of the remote elemental Dojos, which is naturally wet, cold and miserable. It is said to be very hard ot get here (Just get the train to Anville, it's the large station with the flashing lights). In this soakig wet place, where the fire sprinklers have gone mad, Lyris released a Dewott and a Blitzle, whilst Athenodoros releases a Dusclops and a Shellder. This looks interesting, so let's begin!

Shimama makes the first move, and coughs up a large purple orb of Toxic, which is blasted in Sone's general direction. Unfortunately, general direction fails to make it's mark, as the blobs ram into the wall. Ouch, wasted energy, increased by Sone's Pressure (9 EN). Futachimaru detatches the shells from it's body, and lets them glow a dark black, which sucks all happiness out of the air. She then charges at Sone, and implants the 2 black daggers on both sides of Sone's lone eye, who curses in pain (6 Damage / 7 EN). Serd has to wat a few seconds before he can make a Supersonic (4 EN), which hits... everyone's ears. Sone, Shimama and Futachimaru all look confused, with Shimama becoming a victim of Intense Confusion, and both Sone and Futachimaru discovering the addictive side effects of Severe Confusion. Sone tries to Disable the Night Slash, and successfully does, pulling the demonic shells out of his head and performing an acient incantation (Night Slash Disabled 6 Actions / 6 EN).

Shimama now tries to Charge up, but the only Charge Shimama knows is the one which charges into the wall, causing Confusion Damage (4 Recoil / 3 EN), and making a hole in the wall, causing the water to start draining out, lowering the upper limit of the water to 3 inches. As the water is drained out to form a mini waterfall (Sheebus, this dojo didn't need to be on top of a moutain Z_Z), Futachimaru claps slowly, but rather than an applause, it's closer to him hititng himself over the ears with a single clap. OUCH (6 Recoil / 3 EN). Serd wonders what everyone's up to, and lobs a Rock Blast at Futachimaru, scoring 1 crit on the 5 rocks launched at the floaztzel ripoff... I mean Water Otter 'mon (18 Damage / 6 EN). Sone on the other hand is perfectly fine, and tries for a ThunderPunch at Futachimaru. However, Shimama lets off a natural spark, which causes the ThunderPunch to act on it's own accord, and slam into Shimama, dragging the rest of Sone with it. Shimama barely notices the assault, and feels empowered by the fool (6 EN - LightningRod activated!)

Shimama still seems to be confused, but is successfully able to blast off a Charge Beam, even though Dusclops was partially in the way. Good aim, as Serd cringes (19 Damage / 5 EN), and Shimama feels a power boost. Futachimaru seems to have snapped out of confusion, and starts the clapping again. An Encore for Sone, who was ALREADY guarenteed to launch the same attack (10 EN). Serd is up next, and goes in with another Supersonic (4 EN). Shimama and Sone still seem to be suffering the slightest of confusion, and the screeching... missed Futachimaru! The wavelength must've been off, as Sone ignores confusion and gives Shimama another power boost (6 EN).

Awesome reffing!!! That really sets the ASB spirit! Anyways, the round actually went in our favor, as serious dmage was not dealt.

Sone, you're going to control this match with your bulk and versity. First, see if you can redirect that at Fuatchimaru. If not, grab Shimana and throw it at a wall. Next action, disable Shimama's Shock Wave- to redirect it. Lastly, suck Shimama's life away with a Pain Split!

Oh, sorry about the mix-up. I was origionally planning on Icicle Spear at Shimama, but because of the Pain Split to be used on it the next round, I thought it would be more efficient to damage Fuatchimaru instead.

And in the dojo, it seems as if a calm has been reached. Serd wants to take a second to listen to the water flow towards the hole, as it rushes down and hides the sound of screaming battlers. So, to contain this tranquil harmony, he erects a Protect around himself, which glows a faint mint-like colour (7 EN). Shimama doesn't seem to notice this, and using the power invested in him, generates a spark in his horn, and taps the water in front of him. A snake of electricity flows through the water, before circling Serd. It bubbles, and the Shock Wave suddenly pulses in, only to be reflected by Serd's shield (23 Damage Blocked [8 EN] / 3 EN). Futachimaru, on the other hand, noticed the blatantlly glowing shield and opted to fire an Ice Beam at Sone. The cold blast does minor damage to Sone (7 Damage / 9 EN), but is able to successfully freeze some of the water surrounding Sone's left leg, reducing his mobility. Thankfully, Shimama is right next to Sone, so Sone doesn't have far to go in order to grab Shimama with a ThunderPunch, swing him over his head and lob him into the opposite wall, head first, letting us here his skull endure massive shockwaves. As Shimama slides down from that powerful toss, he feels the electricity from that fist run through his veins, gaining more Sp.Atk (8 Damage / 10 EN / LightningRod Activated). Although in Shimama's landing point is a bit of blood and a large crack. Maintenance is gonna kill us...

Serd's shield falls a moment too soon, as Shimama seems out for blood. With Sone no longer blokcing the path, the Charge Beam has a much easier shot, and ripples out from Shimama's blood coated horn. Oooh, that REALLY hurt, although Shimama feels another power boost. Sheesh, you could stop global warming for a week with that power (23 Damage / 5 EN). Futachimaru ignores me go and collect some power drainers to sap the power from Shimama, and instead spins the 2 scallops in his hands, creating a pulse of air, which is promptly flung at Sone. The Air Slash strikes, causing Sone to blink and flinch, although without much visible damge, just like the Ice Beam, much to Futachimaru's anger (5 Damage / 8 EN). Serd doesn't look to happy, and takes some of the wall that had been knocked down, and lobs another set of 5 in a Rock Blast, not scoring any critical hits this time (17 Damage / 6 EN).

The battle is running incredibly close, so Serd decides now would be another ample oppurtunity to set up a Protect (7 EN), and returns to the sheltered land of water flowing and crazy pokémon all magically bouncing off his shield. Shimama goes in with another Shock Wave, but this turns out to be a waste of the wave bounces off the shield and fizzes out, although it seems to have taken up more EN for Serd (26 Damage Blocked [9 EN] / 3 EN). Futachimaru suddenly realises the flaw in his plan was the misuse of the arena. Although the lack of water, which had drained out of the arena, made the BP bonus halfed, it still meant that the Aqua Tail was a somewhat potent blow, particularly since it struck Sone right in it's ghost;y balls for a Critical Hit. Ouch, I felt the bandages all become very tense as Sone becomes an even paler tone of white (13 Damage / 8 EN). Sone, however, gets the last laugh, as his eye glows a bright white, mesmerising Shimama. A wire of light stretches between the 2, and the glow engulfs the room. In a flash and 2 screams of pain, Dusclops and Shimama are kneeling on the floor, there life forces are shared and return to there bodies in much fairer proportions. (Shimama to 69 HP / Sone to 68 HP / 12 EN)

Sone, once again, you seem to be in the best condition on our team, so let's finally go in on the offensive! Start off with a fist full o thundah at Fuatchimaru. Next, hit Shimama where it hurts with a ray of confusion! Lastly, hit Fuatchimaru with another tunderpunch!

Battle BGM

Shimama begins, with a golden Charge Beam, which yet again makes a nasty scar on Serd, although it lacks the bonus static which would boost Shimama's special attack. Serd seems nearly KOed by that attack, and lies on the ground, panting (23 Damage / 5 EN). Futachimaru suddenly spins into a Swords Dance (7 EN), holding its 2 scallops. As she spins, she creates a vortex, which funnels some of the water on the ground and in the air into a sword shape surrounding her, before the giant blade merges into the twin scallops, which glow a crimson red as Futachimaru returns them to his thighs. Serd may look down, but he's obviously not out, as a Rock Blast is launched from the little guy, but unable to pick up a critical hit on any of the 5 rocks (17 Damage / 6 EN). Sone finishes up the round in a cconfusing manner, and ThunderPunchesat Futachimaru, but finds that his fist has a fetish for Blitzle, as LightningRod is reactivated (6 EN).

Shimama's face suddenly glows with an evil idea, and trots up to Serd, stands on top of it, and by alternating with it's front legs and hind legs kicks it around underneath him (5 Damage / 4 EN). Futachimaru doesn't see the humour in this though, and spends the action spinning around them scallops, causing a gust of air to slam into Sone, and for her to wish she'd used nasty plot (5 Damage / 8 EN). Serd, stuck underneath Shimama, decides to launch a collection of Icicle Spears into Shimama's gut and worse, scoring 2 critical hits (20 Damage / 6 EN)! Shimama, unhappy with the sharp cold pain thrashing into his digestive system, jumps to a safe spot by Sone, who is prepared, and fires off a Confuse Ray (5 EN), which puts Shimama in a state of Severe Confusion. Dogfish sighs, these confusion rolls take forever...

Shimama attempts to KO Serd, but seems to have basic differences recognising the differnece between a Shellder and a Crack in the wall. Which must now be corrected to a second hole in the wall from that confusion charge (4 Damage / 3 EN), as our celebraties can make the pose known as "Crazy Blitzle". And £5 if you got that reference. Luckily, Shimama didn't fall off the side down a cliff but onto the side with a plateau. Futachimaru ignores her "friend", and impales Sone with a Night Slash to the eye, which is the most natura Critical hit I've seen in a while (14 Damage / 7 EN). Serd still has a bit of fight in him, and manages to get another Rock Blast aimed at Dewott (17 Damage / 6 EN). The rummelling rocks nearly strikes Sone, but the lucky ghost dodges, and gives Dewott an uppercut with a ThunderPunch, the wall acting a insulator to LightningRod. Breathing in relief, Sone makes the hit, and... Futachimaru collapses (17 Damage / 6 EN). Shimama suddenly snaps out of confusion and blasts back into the room, glowing a neon. I think he's pissed off....

Charge ~ Toxic @Dusclops ~ Shock Wave @Water (The Water should create a field-wide Discharge effect, just -4 HP per action (-6 if charge is used beforehand), applying weakness, not affecting: Electric Type Pokemon, Pokemon with the ability Lightningrod (unless they're weak to water) or Motor Drive)
If the water is below 2 inches, use Charge Beam @Shelder

Shimama seems angry. Very angry. Angry enough to make all static in the air fear him, and ally with him in an angry Charge (8 EN). However, a Rock Blast from Serd allys only a bit too well, as the stones jam into Shimama's sides (17 Damage / 6 EN). As the stones hug him, Sone does another Confuse Ray, the light a bit weaker though, only scoring a Light Confusion (5 EN).

Shimama now begins with what she started with, and it seems like the cycle isn't broken, as Sone's neat fabrics are tarnished by a Toxic (7 EN). Serd is simply amazed with his survival up to this point, and decides to impale Shimama on an Icicle Spear, which scores 2 particularly painful hits, one in each eye, doing critical damage (19 Damage / 6 EN). The cold barrage continues as Sone crushes into Shimama with an Ice Punch (11 Damage / 6 EN). Sone suddenly doesn't feel good, and coughs up a little blood, which tints the water around him red. Nasty... (1 Toxic Damage)
