Rules
Format: 3v3 Doubles
DQ: 2 Days
Restrictions: 2 Recovers/1Chill
Switch: KO
Items: OK
Abilities: 1
Arena:
This isn't your ordinary battle. The match takes place on a racing track. The battlers will be driving two karts along the course. There is a pick-up truck between the two, and on the pick-up truck is an arena! The arena is 40 feet wide and 60 feet long, made out of solid cement. If Pokemon get knocked out of the arena, they will teleport back into the center, but lose 7 HP.

In addition, at the end of every round, trainers will hit an item box that will give them special items. The special items last for one action only, and trainers can only have one special item at a time. Here are the list of special items, and the probability of getting one:

Mushroom (25%): Decreases the energy cost of a move by 3.

Shell (25%): Increases the damage of an attack by 3.

Star (15%): Decreases damage done from enemy attacks by 50%.

Bomb-Omb (15%): Deals 10 damage to the foe, and 5 damage to the user.

Boo (10%): Takes no damage from an attack on the round that the item is used.

Inkblot (Blooper...?) (10%): Decreases the accuracy of the opponent's move by 30% for the next two actions.

Arena Restrictions (if possible): Different items only (Only 1 use of the same item per round i.e.: you can't get Mushroom, then Mushroom)

Let the battle begin!

Oshawatt, Snivy, let's do this!

Oshawott (*) Oshawatt (F)
Nature: Naive
Equipping Leppa Berry.
(Illusion mode)

Snivy (F)
Nature: Hasty
Equipping Rawst Berry, or Aspear Berry at random, if possible. (50/50 Chance)

Hmmmm...Zorua on Lyris' squad huh? This isn't good - I don't know if the Pokemon in front are really an Oshawott and Snivy...or one of them is a Zorua in disguise. Regardless we soldier on!

Meliadoul, Hype Dog - it's time for us to get hype! Let's go!

Treecko - Meliadoul (F)
Hasty nature
@Leppa Berry

Mudkip - Hype Dog (F)
Relaxed Nature
@Oran Berry

Meliadoul, I want you to pepper Oshawott with Bullet Seed x2 and end with an Absorb.

Bullet Seed @Oshawott x2 ~ Absorb @Oshawott

Hype Dog, I want you to deliver a drowsy Yawn to Snivy and then strike her with two Ice Beams.

Yawn @Snivy ~ Ice Beam x2 @Snivy

Meliadoul: Treecko!
Hype Dog: Arf Arf!

If you don't mind Lyris, I'm setting the battle music to this: :3

Let's think through this...I want an Alternation Strategy.

Oshawatt: Taunt @Mudkip ~ Scary Face @Treecko ~ Snarl
Snivy: Aerial Ace @Treecko ~ Mirror Coat ~ Protect

BTW, I don't like nicknames too much, that's why I used the Pokemon's real names instead of their nicknames. Also, I'd rather have the music a Non-Mario track. Like, This (Pokemon 1), This (2nd Pokemon) and This (3rd Pokemon) (in order). They are my favorite Remixes of the user Kamikaze333666.

Welcome racers to the Mario Kart Raceway! Here today we have a double battle between Lyris1035 and TheWolfe! Lyris begins by sending an Oshawatt and Snivy, Wolfe responds by releasing Meliadoul the Treecko and Hype Dog the Mudkip!

Meliadoul outpaces his Unova counterpart and begins by launching a Bullet Seed at Oshawatt! The move hits once and "Oshawatt" begins to shimmer, transforming into Zorua! Meliadoul's bullet seed continues to pound Zorua, hitting twice more. Snivy responds to the attack on his partner with an Aerial Ace, delivering heavy damage to Meliadoul. Zorua responds to the blow by making an obscene gesture at Hype Dog, Taunting him. Finally, Hype Dog responds by attempting to yawn, but is too infuriated by Zorua's obscene action to do so.

Meliadoul again fires off a bullet seed at Zoua, hitting him three times. Snivy does not avenge this blow, instead he begins to glow in an odd manner, Zorua also seems unconcerned, he makes a Scary Face at Meliadoul, but does not attack him. Hype Dog seems to finally have realized that he should try doing something and uses his Ice Beam dealing heavy damage to Snivy. Snivy's Mirror Coat reflects the damage back into Hype Dog, doing an incredible amount of damage to the poor mudkip,

Snivy, sensing an attack, throws a shield over himself with Protect! Zorua Snarls at his opponents, somehow his voice is so hideous that both of his enemies take damage and lower their special defenses! Meliadoul, slowed down by his terror of Zorua's face, attacks and hits Zorua with a absorb, restoring his own HP. Hype Dog, apparently unaware of Snivy's shield, fires an Ice Beam, which predictably does nothing.

The two battlers race around the track and each run into a item box, each one obtains a star, which can be used for any pokemon to reduce damage by 50% for one action

Lyris, your up!

Two issues:

1) Snivy didn't use Mirror Coat for some reason.
2) I attacked first in the first round, so it's Lyris' turn to go.

Other than that, we're all raring to go!

EDIT: I found out it did use Mirror Coat, but for some reason wasn't put in the narration.

EDIT 2: I also found out Snarl's damage wasn't calculated into either of my Mons.

Whoops, I did the damage and the put the start up into the text, I just forgot to put in the last bit of text. Fixed now and I changed it to Lyris is up next, for some reason I thought he attacked first last turn.

Actions

Can I tell you? On action 2, you thought Zorroa's illusion didn't wear off yet. It still says "Oshawatt"!
List of errors (bold):

Did you Just Call me male? add an S at the beginning if you'd please?
Anyway, Let's do this!

Zorroa Base: Taunt @Treecko ~ Dark Pulse @Mudkip ~ Night Daze @Treecko; If Treecko's Swords Dance Tries to take effect, Remove Dark Pulse, move each action later, and make the first action Snatch.
Snivy Base: Sweet Scent ~ Aerial Ace @Treecko ~ Leaf Tornado @Mudkip; If Mudkip at Any time uses Ice Beam, Replace the move the action it's used with Mirror Coat and, if there's still room and Ice Beam is used again, Protect (Example: Mirror Coat ~ Protect ~ Mirror Coat if Ice Beam is used for the entire round (3 times); Sweet Scent ~ Mirror Coat ~ Protect if Ice Beam is not used on action 1, but for the rest of the round instead; Mirror Coat ~ Aerial Ace ~ Leaf Tornado if Ice Beam is used only on round 1) (Also, if Zorroa is about to be hit by Rock Smash, Replace 1 action at random the move is used with "Star", I just forgot about it.)

Ohohohoho! That was some good work you two, but that speed drop is gonna bite Meliadoul. You're slower than Oshawott!

All right!

Meliadoul, just take the Taunt like a strong girl and deliver a nasty barrage of Double Kicks x2 on Zorua. Finish with an Absorb on the Dark Pokemon.

Double Kick x2 @Zorua ~ Absorb @Zorua

Hype Dog, start with a powerful Rock Smash on that Zorua and then follow up on her with a powerful Tackle, possibly knocking it towards the edge of the truck. Finish with another Rock Smash on Zorua.

Rock Smash @Zorua ~ Tackle @Zorua ~ Rock Smash @Zorua

Meliadoul: Treecko!
Hype Dog: Arf Arf Arf!

The second lap begins with Snivy letting off a Sweet Scent and Zorua making an obscene gesture at Meliadoul, Taunting him. Meliadoul responds to the provocation by launching a Double Kick at Zorua! Hype Dog quickly follows up with a Rock Smash, striking so hard that Zorua's defensive abilities are lowered!

Snivy is again faster and launches herself into an aerial ace at Meliadoul! Zorua attempts to get even with Hype Dog for that nasty Rock Smash and fires a Dark Pulse at the poor mudkip. Keeping up the pressure, Meliadoul nails Zorua with another Double Kick, which is immediately followed up with Hype Dog's Tackle! The battlers are all starting to look rather battered.

The third action begins with Snivy once more hitting first with a powerful Leaf Tornado, dealing heavy damage to Hype Dog. Zorua targets Meliadoul, hitting him with a Night Haze that lowers Meliadoul's Accuracy! Despite the hazy conditions Meliadoul still manages to hitting Zorua with an Absorb, slightly restoring his own HP! Hype Dog follows up with another Rock Smash, however Zorua activates the start and cuts the damage in half! Nonetheless, Zorua is struggling to hold on to consciousness.

The racers again completed a lap and obtain another item, Lyris obtains a Bomb-Omb, however Wolfe already has a star and can receive no item.

Wolfe, your up!

Lyris, you can't change your actions just because you 'forgot' about a detail once the other person goes. That's the purpose of alternating attack orders - so that one person can act and the other person can react.

In any case, let's keep the show groovin'!

Meliadoul, you're doing fine girl but that accuracy drop is going to make things really risky, especially with that Bob-omb they just picked up. In any case use that Star of yours and finish off Zorua with a powerful Quick Attack! Afterwards let's give Snivy a case of deadly Acrobatics x2!

If Zorua is still standing after the first Quick Attack, then keep using it until it falls and then proceed with the rest of your original actions.

Use Star + Quick Attack @Zorua ~ Acrobatics x2 @Snivy
Subs: Quick Attack @Zorua if it's still standing in action 2 and/or 3.

Hype Dog, you've taken a big beating but let's not give up hope! Brace yourself for a powerful Bide!

Bide (absorb) x2 ~ Bide (release)

Meliadoul: Treecko!
Hype Dog: Arf!

Zorroa, Time for a Last Resort (I mean Scary Face) on the Treecko!
Zorroa: Scary Face @Treecko
Subs: Zorroa, if you survive Treecko's 1st Quick Attack, use Snarl.
Snivy, show them some defense!
Snivy: Leech Seed @ Mudkip ~ Aerial Ace @Treecko ~ Protect
Myself: [end of Action 3, if possible] Bomb (@Mudkip if the explosion of the bomb affects one opponent)
Seems you don't wanna give up, do ya, Wolfe?

Welcome back battlers for lap three of our battle! Zorua isn't looking very good and Meliadoul uses the star to lower potential damage and then takes advantage of Zorua's weakness and hurls himself into Zorua with a blazing Quick Attack. Zorua totters and then collapses, Zorua is unable to battle! Snivy, perhaps expecting to face a similar fate, hits Hype Dog with a Leech Seed steal Hype Dog's HP! Hype Dog responds by absorbing energy with Bide!

Meliadoul again moves first and hits Snivy with a powerful Acrobatics to which Snivy responds with an equally powerful Aerial Ace! Hype Dog continues to try to absorb energy and continues to absorb nothing. Snivy's HP continues to rise from his vampiric attack on Hype Dog, causing Hype Dog to eat his Oran Berry and restore his HP.

Snivy, expecting another attack, throws up a protect, saving himself from Meliadoul's Acrobatics. Hype Dog unleashes his Bide, but having stored no energy, nothing happens. Hype Dog's HP is sapped by Leech Seed, which is the most damaging event this action, until Lyris hurls a Bomb-Omb into Hype Dog! But wait, a trainer can't use items on the opponent, only the trainer's pokemon can. Lyris seems to remember this and stops before throwing it.

The trainers complete another lap and Wolfe obtains a mushroom, Lyris still has a Bomb-Omb and gets no item.

BTW, Mudkip's HP is higher than it should have. I think you didn't apply Mudkip's leech seed damage?

Mudkip had his Oran berry restore 10 HP, while Leech Seed did 1 damage per turn.

EDIT: Looked up Leech Seed, and it should be doing 3 damage per action, fixed.

Woohoo! We took out one of their pogeys! 2 more to go!

Meliadoul starts off this round by Dancing with Swords, however Snivy seems unconcerned by this and just Chills. Oshawatt seems to be more afraid of plus 2 Treeckos and hits Meliadoul with an Ice Beam! Hype Dog, bored by the lack of action, Yawns at Oshawatt.

Now this is odd, the trainers appear to be arguing in the middle of the match, Lyris is attempting to switch moves and Wolfe is having none of it! The rules prohibit changing of moves and so Lyris' pokemon carry out their moves as originally order. However Lyris is still trying to throw a bomb at Wolfe's pokemon.

After those unpleasantries are over, Meliadoul attacks Oshawatt with a powerful Bullet Seed to which Snivy and Oshawatt respond to with a Leer and a Tail Whip! With its defense harshly lowered, Hype Dog fires off an Ice Beam into Snivy, dealing impressive damage.

Meliadoul again moves first and again hits Oshawatt with a Bullet Seed, using a mushroom to lower the energy requirements. Snivy, perhaps attempting to finish off Hype Dog, strikes with its Vine Whip! Oshawatt gets revenge by hitting Meliadoul hard with an Air Slash! Finally, Hype Dog, using what is perhaps its final move, launches a powerful Ice Beam into Snivy.

The lap ends and Wolfe receives a Boo. Lyris is still trying to throw the Bomb-Omb.

Wolfe, your up!

Bane, both Treecko and Snivy are supposed to use one less energy for their respective Grass attacks according to STAB. Otherwise it's good. :3

Yikes! I didn't expect to have both my Pokemon beaten down so hard. But let's give it all we got!

Meliadoul, you're hurting but you're now in Overgrow range! Use the Boo and fire an array of suped up Bullet Seeds on that Oshawott!

Use Boo + Bullet Seed @Oshawott ~ Bullet Seed x2 @Oshawott

Hype Dog, chances are you'll be beaten to the punch. Regardless, spend your actions by firing off three Ice Beams to Snivy. You've done a great job this match. ^^

Ice Beam x3 @Snivy

Meliadoul: T-Treecko!
Hype Dog: ...Arf...

Oshawatt, Use your "Last word" attack, before you fall asleep.
Aqua Jet @Mudkip ~ Ice Beam @Treecko x2 (try)
Snivy, it's do or die!
Leaf Tornado @Mudkip ~ Aerial Ace @Treecko ~ Mirror Coat
If Mudkip is KO'd by Oshawatt, Replace the 1st action with Growth, 3rd action with Protect.

Lap 4 begins with Oshawatt striking first with an incredibly fast Aqua Jet! Oshawatt his Hype Dog, who is unable to survive the hit! Meliadoul tries to avenge Hype Dog by launching a Bullet Seed into Oshawatt, who is beginning to look very drowsy. Meliadoul also activates a Boo, making him invulnerable to the next attack this round! Snivy begins to grow with Growth, boosting his attacking power. Despite the stimulus of Bullet Seed, Oshawatt collapses on the ground, asleep.

Meliadoul takes advantage of his sleeping foe and hits Oshawatt with a Bullet Seed! Somehow, Oshawatt eats his Oran Berry while he sleeps. Snivy responds to this assault on his partner with an Aerial Ace! But the aerial ace fails due to Meliadoul's temporary intangibility...

Snivy throws up a Protect, but is ignored by Meliadoul, who once more hits is sleeping opponent with a Bullet Seed. Wolfe obtained a Mushroom at the end of the lap, Lyris still has a Bomb-Omb and so obtained nothing.
