kay, gl hf!

To save one post, I'll send out porygon3's Pokemon.

GO SLUDGE!!!

Alright 'Buto we got this!

Start things off with some tricky maneuvers! I want you to sand attack grimer, confuse it with confuse ray, and then give it another sand attack to keep grimer from getting in a hit!

Sand-Attack --> Confuse Ray --> Sand attack

Ok Sludge, he's trying to play dirty, but we can play dirtier! Start off by bullying him a bit to find out his weakness and then Taunt him about it. After that, since he will be too upset to attack you, take a little bit of extra time preparing a big Mud Bomb to throw at him and try to lower his accuracy! If your first Taunt somehow didn't bother him, try that again instead. Finish off by insulting him some more, and make sure to throw around plenty of swears and Curses.

Taunt / Mud Bomb* / Curse

*If first Taunt missed, use it second action instead of Mud Bomb

A bright sunny Round 1...

Here we are at the Desert Oasis, a place that includes an amazing centered lake and a row of palm trees shading the region! Man that sun's blazing the place up into pieces, but that doesn't seem to disturb these two people on the opposite sides of the lake.

Two newbies face each other with bold faces on this sunny evening. One has an accomplice by the name of Sludge, while the other has a deadly 'Buto on his side. The battle's about to begin and the sands of the oasis will turn as red as blood. The obvious question - who will win?

'Buto begins the match by crawling around the lake toward Sludge and kicking up some nasty sand, which "attacks" and blinds Sludge critically! Sludge shrugs his head in distaste and Taunts at 'Buto about his rockiness and how he was dead for 300 million years. Oh, and I think I overheard something about 'Buto being too thin as well, yeah. Ha, right, that will teach 'Buto not to do anymore nasty stuff!

Seeing how his trainer gave him no attacking actions and he's taunted into depression, 'Buto struggles wildly at Sludge because he doesn't know what to do. The attack smashes parts of Sludge's... sludge, but the sludge is gooey enough to cause some backfire damage at 'Buto! Taking advantage of the plentiful amount of sand here, Sludge takes a mouthful of sand in his mouth, soaks them all up into mud, and shoots out a formed Mud Bomb attack at where he thought 'Buto was. However, due to the sand covered on his face, the attack completely misses and SPLOOSHES in the lake!

Despite having the word "attack" in its name, 'Buto realizes he can't kick up a sand-attack just like with Confuse Ray because of the evil taunt and has to deal with another Struggle attack at Sludge! Whoopy-doo! The attack just bounces right off as usual and gives 'Buto a bit of sticky, bad slime on his armor. This attack made Sludge Curse so much that he literally flips out on 'Buto with his middle finger! So young yet so violent! Who was your mother?

oof I didn't even see taunt in there no clue it was coming

alright 'buto we gotta pull this back together, dig down to dodge whatever is coming, rock slide him in his smug face, and then mud shot him to see if you can lower his accuracy that way. If he tries to set up curse on dig just mud shot him instead too.

Dig / Mud Shot (if he curses) --> Rock Slide --> Mud Shot

disregard, I don't understand turn order!!!!!!!

Ok Sludge, he knows what you're made of (heh) so he won't be afraid to attack now. His first attack will probably be something tough, so try to Disable it after it hits you; if he tries to outsmart you and Dig, use Minimize instead to make yourself a smaller target and hopefully avoid the hit. After that, throw another Mud Bomb, and try to make this one a little more accurate! He's going to be hurting you a lot through all this, so I want you to get revenge with a powerful Payback!

Disable/Minimize - Mud Bomb - Payback

alright we got this 'buto. Mud shot him before he gets a chance to minimize, then dig underground and wait for him to mud bomb before you hit him, and then finish with a rock slide and hope for a flinch.

Mud Shot --> Dig (let him attack first) --> Rock Slide

Rise up to a bright Round 2!

With his much superior speed, 'Buto starts off by taking a mouthful of sand, mixing them with weird liquid in his mouth, and shooting the whole liquid-sand thing as a Mud Shot attack straight at Sludge! It's a direct slimy shot and it makes Sludge much more lazier than usual, but he shrugs off the attack with ease and magically Disables the move.

Sludge is getting tired of getting his ass kicked and attempts to chew off some sand into a Mud Bomb attack! But wait, why is he attacking first? There's 'Buto, just waiting for our sludge friend to make a move. Right as the Mud Bomb is fired, which WAS more accurate btw, 'Buto begins his underground adventure with a swift Dig! This causes the Mud Bomb to swoosh by and miss, hitting only the sand. Immediately after, Sludge feels the ground shaking below him... it's 'Buto coming out and delivering a clean strike from the ground! Sludge is pounced off right on his sludgy tummy, though he seems ready for more!

'Buto plans his next assault by finding some sandy rocks in the arena, quickly assembling them together, and sliding them down onward toward the awaiting Sludge, who could only stare in horror of this attack. CRUMBLE CRUMBLE!!!! Looks like Sludge just got smashed hard by the rolling rocks, but in Payback, anger, and all that, he manages to slip through the rocky maze and "dash" at 'Buto for an angry, terrible hit! Smack! 'Buto's armor absorbs a good portion of the hit, though there's a bit dents here and there.

This match seemingly looks decided already. But has it? Let's see if Sludge can turn this mess around!

The sun continues to shine. Kannon's turn!

'Buto we got him on the ropes! I want you to dig down and dodge his first attack like you did before. Then I want you to fire off a confuse ray once taunt wears off. Finish the turn with another dig, this time getting in the hit quick.

Dig (wait for the attack again) --> Confuse Ray --> Dig

He thinks he has you figured out, Sludge, isn't that ridiculous? If he's going to wait for you to make a move before hitting you, then let's use that against him with Minimize! Hopefully his other moves will miss. After that, I want you to show him just how angry you are about his cowardly techniques and Curse at 'Buto some more. Finish with a Shadow Sneak before the Dig can hit you, and maybe it will disorientate him or something; it must be hard to hit a shadow that just minimized itself!

Round 3, dry, raw, and deserted...

Overconfident, 'Buto goes with the same old "wait n' dig" strategy that was employed last round. But look, Sludge is minimizing himself into a smaller form! 'Buto becomes immensely confused at this action; if Sludge didn't attack, was he himself supposed to go attack him? 'Buto decides to just dig down for the hell of it anyway and go for an attack! As 'Buto tries to aim his hard shell head upward upon Sludge, the attack became quite distorted and missed Sludge's small sludgy body altogether!

As the next action comes, 'Buto gives Sludge no time to react despite his attack missing and delivers a shocking Confuse Ray (Intense)! Sludge becomes even more weirder - he's smaller, he's clueless, and he's a filthy piece of sludge! He really doesn't need to hit himself in confusion for a loud Curse at 'Buto, though, this time about how much of a cheater he is. 'Buto attempts to ignore the insult, but he seems to be red in fury!

'Buto gives us no time to wait - he immediately goes for a Dig in a furious rage and approaches Sludge underground. Right when he was about to strike, however, Grimer uses his shadowy talents to sneak away, despite the confusion, just in the nick of time from the attack! Good one midget!

So it looks like both contenders just felt like wasting away at their energy bar. Or maybe that was just Sludge. Was it really worth it?

Ok Sludge, you're still alive! Start with Payback, since I know how much you hate this confusion. Then hit him with your namesake and see if we can get a little free damage by Poison. Finish off by Cursing some more, I don't think you have annoyed 'Buto enough yet! If you ever get a chance to stop him from digging with Disable, I want you to do that.

Payback - Sludge - Curse
Replace something with Disable if it will Disable Dig

(if that vagueness is not allowed let me know and I will change something)

Alright 'Buto we can mess with grimer again! I want you to rock slide to get in some damage, confuse ray him again after, and finish this turn off with a super effective mud shot! If confuse ray misses though, I want you to try it again

Round 4, The Lingering
...

Angry, frustrated, and mad, Sludge goes sludging around and attempts a Payback at the frightening 'Buto. But alas, he instead smacks a really really hard tree and hurts his hands badly in confusion! 'Buto takes his time assembling piles of sand rocks for a roaring Rock Slide attack! The rocks slide right onto Sludge and completely cover him to his demise. After the attack, it seems that Sludge has snapped out of confusion AND 'Buto remembered how to fire Mud Shots again! Yay!

Not letting Sludge become free from confusion, 'Buto prepares another Confuse Ray that will certainly put Sludge back into shape! As Sludge oozes out of the piles of rocks covering him and finally sees the light of day with his head, the ray splashes upon him (Severe) and ruins his mind once again! What a scrambled piece of sludge! At the very least, he thinks he knows where the direction of his attacker was, and barfs out a shot of Sludge at where he was attacked. Hey, guess what, he's right on the spot! Bingo! There's 'Buto, covered in slimy sludge! The acidic properties of the sludge appear to be so corrosive that it even went critical! However, 'Buto's Battle Armor completely stops the damage from spreading any farther. Lucky man.

Crawling out of the rock ruins, Sludge has not even noticed how mindfucked he got and falls right onto the ground on some sharp rock due to his confusion! Sly 'Buto crawls near, gobbles up some nearby sand, and shoots a Mud Shot at Sludge, making him even more screwed. At the very least, Sludge's mind clears up and the confusion escapes.

So we got one guy looking pretty dead and the other rocking him hard. Poor Sludgy, maybe if you had Giga Drain, you could do something!

Round 4, The Limit of a Sludge...

Sludge, breathing heavily of filthy toxic and garbage, feels the last of his consciousness here. But he's not giving up! After seeing 'Buto preparing for a journey to the underworld, Sludge quickly Shadow Sneaks through the shadows of the palm trees and pokes 'Buto's shell for MASSIVE MASSIVE damage! Not really, maybe a slip of slime or two linger on 'Buto's shell, but... 'Buto's gone now! As can be concluded from a very obvious hole, 'Buto went digging! And what for, you may ask? To finish him! And moments later, my hypothesis is correct - 'Buto can be seen immediately crawling under Sludge and striking him headfirst into a devastating faint! Upon being hit, Sludge flies through the air and harshly bumps onto a nearby palm tree, whose coconuts immediately shake and break off, falling down and smashing Sludge into melted jello! Although, maybe those weren't coconuts...

And thus concludes this hot, sunny battle!
