Ok, let's have Quetzalcoatl make his debut partnered with Scar.

Scar will Intimidate both Shizuka and Bastion.
Scar will then hit Shizuka with a Bite, Nitro Charge and another Bite (or Flame Wheel if Bite gets disabled).
Quetzalcoatl will start off with a Sunny Day, then hit Shizuka with a Blaze Kick and a SolarBeam.

If Shizuka Traces Flash Fire;
Scar will hit Shizuka with Bite, Take Down and another Bite (Wild Bolt if Bite is disabled).
Quetzalcoatl will use Sunny Day, then Will-o-Wisp and Leech Seed on Bastion.

Alright guys, it's our first battle, let's make it a good one!

Shizuka, Trace Scar's Intimidate; set up Reflect, then use Confuse Ray on Scar and do the same for Quetzalcoatl.

Bastion, set up Substitute to avoid Will-O-Wisp and Leech Seed, use Rock Slide on both of the opponents, and finish up by using Stockpile.

EDIT: Oops, you don't target Bastion. Oh well.

Remember that when using Substitute, you can pick a percentage between 15 and 25. I'll be using the average 20. And I'm sure you guys know, but moves that hit both Pokemon have their power reduced to 75%. Well, that was more like a self reminder. xD

Hello everyone! Noob ref to doubles here, but $$$$ <3.

We are somehow here at the illusionary Mirage Island! Never seen before in live action! Damn right! Except, we're not really going berry or Munchlax hunting... we're gonna watch a Double Battle live on camera! Let's go!

One godlike omega trainer sends out a fragile looking Shizuka (Ralts) and a fatty... err Bastion (Munchlax)! The other one laughs at how pathetic looking the other trainer's Pokemon are despite his name and sends out a tough Quetzalcoatl (Embirch) and a brave Scar (Growlithe). Well, I'm pretty sure that omega man would be laughing right back at you, uhh, danmant... I can't say your name. And oh my, this is going to be tons of work on the paper tomorrow when I write about everything that conspires! Oh! Looks like Ralts and Growlithe are having an angry staredown with everyone! Growlithe seems to be Intimidating the opposition into cowardice, but it seems Ralts has Traced that ability and is doing the same to them! A serious Intimidation...

Scar begins the match with a swift movement toward little Shizuka and aims a crippling Bite attack right on his head! The fangs went so critical that they flinch Shizuka into submission! Owwwww! While that was happening, Quegxgarfsdgsd... okay, let's just call you Quetzy, calls upon the heavenly days to bring the sunny delights to his way. Burning... high... fever... ugh! Bastion barely takes notice of what the hell happened to his partner, or even the environment, and sets up a Substitute to safeguard against future attacks. Was that a smart decision?

On the next time around, Scar thinks that Shizuka hasn't received enough spankings for the day and goes on a Flame Charging offensive. He bursts into flames and smashes upon oh so poor Shizuka's body. From the attack, Scar feels even faster than before, almost like a miracle happened. Quetzy joins the ganking (or raping) of Shizuka and swings a Blaze Kick to his face, blasting him right across the grass and even burning parts of them! What kind of Grass-type are you, freak?! Shizuka, better stop, drop, and roll! ... though that will cause even more grass to burn. But, while Shizuka was doing just that, he was summoning a quite confusing ray (Intense) at Scar, scrambling his mind to a unbelievable level. I don't even think Scar can even remember how to bark anymore... but... woah, wtf! Look! Piles of rock are sliding down from... somewhere! Is this a mirage or something? I'm so sure there wasn't a cliff or mountain here! The huge pile of rocks slam onto both Scar and Quetzy, burrowing them into heaviness. Ouch!

After suffering immerse rocky pain on the head and body, Growlithe scrambles out of the rocks and looks for who's responsible for this terrible action! Except, he's pretty damn confused, but his fangs are just ripe for biting just whatever he feels like. He jumps upon what he thinks was Munchlax and clings on him with his fangs, but it was really Shizuka, his primary target from the start, who got bitten! Ow ow ow ow! Quetzy takes a ranged approach and blasts a energetic SolarBeam at... wow, I think danman... I can't spell it... but I think he has some kind of grudge against Shizuka or something seriously! There goes Shizuka, flying across the small island right onto a patch of grass. BUMP! But, he's still up and ready, if only barely. And by then, he unleashes yet another Confuse Ray (Severe), but this time, aimed at Quetzy! Confuzzled, puzzled, dazzled, Quetzy tilts a bit, but it's not his action anyway. Looks like Bastion just sat there quietly watching like some spectator... is he not even in the match? All he's doing is stockpiling piles of livers and organs in his body! What a complete disgrace!

So it appears that one side has got just about everything they could hope for and one side has fallen a bit behind. Can that fallen side play catch up? Can they?

Yeah, Shizuka REALLY took a huge whooping. Omegaman's turn!

Oops, and forgot, sunlight stays for 4 more rounds!

Careful, Shizuka. We need to get you out of there. Use Shadow Sneak to get as much distance as you can, so you can support from afar. When at a safe distance set up Reflect, then attack Quetzalcoatl with Confusion. If you still get attacked after gaining distance, use Protect instead of Reflect or Confusion.

Bastion, you are my heavy-hitter in this match! Use Rock Slide, then Stockpile again, and finish up with another Rock Slide!

Great job guys, let`s finish Shizuka!

Scar will start off with an Odor Sleuth to prevent any other attempts to dodge its attacks. Then hit Shizuka with another 2 Bites. If Shizuka faints, use Roar on Bastion to reset its stat changes.
Quetzy will hit Shizuka with a SolarBeam, then a Giga Drain and Blaze Kick. If Shizuka faints, just use Growth for the rest of your actions.

Welcome to Round 2! Take a seat and enjoy the show!

Despite the blood running down his head, Shizuka readys himself for an even harsher event that will inevitably come. Take a look at the other side; there's Quetzy just staring that little kid down and Scar just... trying to sniff? What's this? I can see them twitching a bit... but... Quetzy painfully tries to raise his mini arm cannon in preparations for a SolarBeam. However, the confusion scrambles his mind and the SolarBeam was launched right onto the ground, blasting Quetzy off! By then, Shizuka utilizes his Shadow Sneak technique to spread some distance between the monsters, with Bastion in front. Scar looks around in an attempt to figure out what the hell just happened, but he's just as confused too! He leaps, he jumps, and he trips upon some neighboring rock on the head! By then, he lands on Quetzy... Scar's at least happy to know where Quetzy went. It's not all sunshines though, as there's a huge bastion-like slide of rocks coming from the western side that completely buries the remains of Quetzy and Scar. RIP? Or not?

Frustrated at the recent events, Quetzy hastily pushes the rocks out of the way and aims a distant Giga Drain at what he thinks is Shizuka. Whoop whoop whoop whoop! It seems some of the attack have slightly missed Shizuka, but it nevertheless hit! Having your energy drained is definitely not fun! To add more to the agony, there's Scar coming right along, with a very lazy Bastion just watching, in a swift pace and jumps upon the staggering Shizuka for a clear Bite on the head! Man, I could just see that head ripping off any time soon! Maybe it's too late to save himself, but maybe Shizuka has another idea in his mind. He's crying in pain, but he manages to create a screen of Reflect that barriers across Shizuka and Bastion. Very safe, huh? Bastion agrees, and just to make sure he's even more safe, he preserves some Pidgey guts for a Stockpile!

Quetzy takes the initiative and smacks a Blazing Kick that rips through Shizuka's broken body and made him even more broken than broken. The attack made Shizuka launch across the sky and into a deep... THUMP! Ow! It looks like Shizuka has finally fainted, but that's not good for Bastion! Scar moves his senses to the last remaining opponent - Bastion - and attempts to shoo him away with an intimidating roar, but... he kinda whimpers in pain from the mental confusion in his mind! Bastion braves through the lost of Shizuka and summons a crippling Rock Slide downward onto Quetzy and Bastion, once again shoveling them into piles of sharp rocks.

So one team has lost a valuable comrade, while the other side seems to be quite rocked but still good to go. How will next round be played out? Let's see next time!

Alright, 2v1 and the sun is shining. Things are looking good!

I want Scar to use Morning Sun to heal himself, then use Roar to negate Bastion's stat changes. Then I want him to hit Bastion with a Close Combat. (If he gets confused, just use the first 2 actions)
Quetzalcoatl will start off with a Blaze Kick, followed by a Growth and then another Blaze Kick. If Bastion's Substitute is removed, use Will-o-Wisp instead.

You can take whatever hits come your way, Bastion! Time to avenge Shizuka! Use Rock Slide, then after he roars use Curse. Then finish with a boosted Rock Slide!

Round 3... where stuff happens.

Scar starts the match with a crispy Morning Sun in the glorious sunshine, bathing him with a nice batch of health! Quetzy would love some of that too, but unfortunately, he's ordered to go blaze kicking. In an attempt to run through the field, Quetzy trips in confusion on the grass, cramping his legs, smacking his body, and bruising his head! Bastion wastes no time on sliding down some rocks upon the awaiting preys, smashing them down into rockiness. Luckily for Scar, his confusion has worn out and he can think and see crystal clear now!

Now refreshed, Scar confronts Bastion and barks an intimidating Roar at him. This causes Bastion to stumble and reset all of his stat boost, but was that actually a good thing? Bastion now feels lifted from the earlier Intimidate that Scar implied on him, but he feels a bit weaker defensively. As for Quetzy, he's not minding Bastion one bit and greatly puts some Growth in his system, making him even stronger then ever! In order to compete with these boosts, Bastion finds the need to Curse out loud. Damn the world! And there, he turns more sluggish than usual, but he feels more confident in his offensive and defensive capabilities now. By the time Quetzy has been growing, his confusion has disappeared into thin dust.

Time for some action! Scar closes in on Bastion and utilizes a Close Combat technique that repeated smashes on Bastion's substitute, which takes critical damage upon Scar's flaming madness! However, the reflect lowers the damage output and the substitute stays in tact! And by the looks of it, the attack has worn down Scar's defensive capabilities, but he's still alright! Quetzy's up next to bat with a Blaze Kick to the substitute's face, which finally breaks it down to particles despite reflect's power. Bastion's true face is finally revealed after all this time, and while Scar and Quetzy stare in horror at Bastion's really "ugly" face, they are met with a clingling Rock Slide that buries them... once again! They push the rocks out though, and with their handful of health and energy, they're ready to rock and roll for another round. Can Bastion push his limit into survival and victory? Stay tune for more!

edit: oops, forgot to edit in Reflect for Blaze Kick's calc, but it still breaks the Sub.

Alright Bastion, we're on our way to winning this thing. Set up another 20% Substitute, then use Rock Slide. Round things out by Chilling.

Ok, let's hit Bastion hard before he can get behind another Substitute!

I want Scar to Bite Bastion twice, then use Close Combat after the Rock Slide.
Quetzalcoatl will use Will-o-Wisp, then hit the substitute with a Seed Bomb, then a Giga Drain. But if Bastion isn't behind a sub, use Leech Seed instead of Giga Drain (or WoW if it didn't hit before).

The amazing Round 4!

Somehow, at the start of the round, Quetzy started feeling more sluggish than usual and slows down a bit. Scar is still perfectly fine and good to go, however, and goes on the offensive with an intimidating Bite attack, pinching on Bastion's flavorful fattiness. Bastion easily shrugs off the attack though as if Bastion's fangs were rubber, thanks to Reflect, falls back a bit, and creates a fine Substitute (20%) made of lovely Munchlax skin! Quetzy is definitely not feeling right today as he slowly creates a Will-O-Wisp and slooooowly fires it at... the front of Bastion's substitute, setting parts of the ground on fire. Actually, I think that was a Will-O-Miss.

Ready to bite and stuff, Scar again advances and Bites the substitute for the hell of it, but it doesn't fade away! Bastion seems to be holding on to his own fortress well enough, and so he slides down some rocks right across the field, extinguishing the public fire caused by the Will-O-Miss, and smashing both Scar and Quetzy. Smooth move, yo! Quetzy seems rather annoyed and tries to step back up, but it seems he has flinched upon contact and cannot move! What a lucky punk, that Bastar... I mean Bastion. At this moment, Bastion's savior of a Reflect shatters into a million pieces. Uh-oh.

Bastion's great substitute of Mirage Island is definitely showing its feat, but will it be destroyed? Scar fixes his muscles and paws and leaps into a Close Combat onto the substitute, smashing and bashing it in anger while lowering his own guard. Not minding how much damage his substitute is taking, Bastion just takes a chill pill and relaxes a bit. Quetzy steps into the fight with a soaking Giga Drain, finally breaking the substitute into pieces. Uh-oh x2.

What an eventful round! It seems it wasn't anything near the end yet! But alas, Bastion's energy is drooping and drooping. Will he have enough to finish this? Let's see how next round plays out!

Embirch
Will-O-Wisp > [6 Energy]
Giga Drain > 8 + 3 + (3-2 x 1.5) + (2-0 x 1.5) = 15.5 = [16 Damage] [7 Energy] [Heals 4 HP due to Substitute only having 8 HP left]

Growlithe
Bite > 6 + (3-2 x 1.5) + (0-2 x 1.5) = 4.5 = 5 - 5 (reflect) = [0 Damage] [4 Energy, +2 for consecutive one] (rather surprised myself...)
Close Combat > 12 + (3-2 x 1.5) + (0-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 (super effective) = 15.75 = [16 Damage] [8 Energy]

Sunlight shines for 1 more round. danmantincan's turn!

Also if you want to know why they're all reset back to -1 Attack, it's because all the boosts wore out, and Intimidate's description says the drop is maintained at each round, so yeah. However, Bastion was Roared from before, and so Intimidate is gone.

edit: oh crap, forgot CC. Edited in the drops.

Ok, well that negative priority really hurt.

Scar will start with a Roar on Quetzy to remove the intimidate drop, then use Flame Wheel and Bite on Bastion.

Quetzalcoatl will try again with Will-o-Wisp then use 2 Seed Bombs. If Bastion isn't behind a sub for either of the Seed Bombs, use Leech Seed instead.

Not much we can do in the way of strategy, Bastion. We just have to go for it! Rock Slide, then Curse and Rock Slide again!

Round 5, let's go!

You know that slow syndrome that Quetzy had? Well, it seems Scar got infected by it too, except Quetzy doesn't have it anymore. Just what in the hell is that virus?

Quetzy starts the round with a sizzling Will-O-Wisp across the arena that torches and ignites Bastion into flames! Ow! Bastion totally doesn't like that and tumbles down a Rock Slide that slams onto both Quetzy and Scar for mild damage. Angry, Scar Roars at... Quetzy for some reason. Ah, it seems it was some warcry of some sort as it relinquished Quetzy of his past attack problems!

Next time around, Quetzy decides to be a little tricky and unleashes a shot of Leech Seed that sprout upon impact on Bastion. Uh-oh! But instead of retaliating back, he just Curses. I know I would too. While he did that, Scar wheels around in burning flames toward Bastion and smashes right onto him! Bastion repels the attack quite easily thanks to Thick Fat, but that still must have hurt!

Now that Bastion is weakening down, Quetzy takes his other cannon to fire a direct Seed Bomb to the face. BAM! HEADSHOT! Not really, but that still must have hurt! Bastion takes this time to summon yet another crippling Rock Slide, injuring both Quetzy and Scar in the process. Scar seems fine though as he hops out and runs over to Bastion for a shocking Bite attack. MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH! Bastion's getting juicier and juicier for a good dinner!

Sunlight has fell. Omegaman's turn!

Ok, we finally got that burn, it's time to end this!

Scar will start with a Roar to remove Bastion Curse boosts. Then he will Chill followed by a Close Combat.
Quetzy will use Seed Bomb, then Chill and nail Bastion with another Seed Bomb.

Round 6, the final finale!

With the winds shuffling through, Scar can smell the scent of the end. He knows it's not time to underestimate the creature known as Bastion, and so he delivers a brave Roar at the monster, resetting his boosts back to normal. Quetzy joins the fray too with a powerful Seed Bomb blast to the body, tossing Bastion outward onto the ground. Bastion is getting weaker and weaker, but he's not down without a fight! He gives this Rock Slide all he got and delivers it with his utmost force. The slide tingles down upon Quetzy and Scar, but they still live on.

The next time around, I'm sure the contestants would be blowing each other up! ... huh? Look! Look! All three are coming together... for a chill? There's Scar, licking his battle wounds, Quetzy, smoking some weed from a wooden pipe, and Bastion, chewing on some inedible grass that won't go down his throat. Aren't they having a greeeeat time? Awwwww!

And then this happens. Being the backstabbers they are, Scar jumps right upon Bastion for a devastating Close Combat assault while Quetzy comes from behind and explodes a mega ulta killer Seed Bomb on Bastion's back into a world of pain. His back, pulverized. His front, beaten. At that moment, Bastion's tears can be seen visibly, the pain becomes revealing, and his eyes start slowly shutting into a deep faint. A mourning faint... as Bastion falls onto the ground like a soldier who has just been shot. Good try, man, good try!

Damn. Bastion stayed around a lot longer than I expected, though. I'm pretty content with this as my first match. Good game.

Good game Omegaman! I was really impressed by Munchlax, it took forever to KO it. And thanks for being so active with the updates Flora!
