Team Matezoide

<Primeape> [Steve] (Male)
Nature: Jolly (+14% accuracy)

Type: Fighting
Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

About: He is the very first pokemon Matezoide obtained and quickly became best friends after Matt selfishlessly risked his life against a pack of wild Houndour.
Steve is extremely strong, determined, honored and relatively docile Primeape, only feeling trully alive during a battle with a worth opponent, he cares very much about his trainer and team mates.

Abilities:
Vital Spirit (Passive):

This Pokemon has a high vitality and alertness making it immune to sleep induced by other Pokemon. Its normal state of sleeplessness makes it take 1 less damage and energy/action from Ghost Curse. If it is put to sleep by a Pokemon with Mold Breaker it will wake up the next action. If a Pokemon with Vital Spirit also has Insomnia, its evasion is raised by one (1) stage permanently.

Anger Point (Passive):

When struck with a critical hit, this Pokemon becomes enraged and its Attack rises to maximum (Stage 6). However, its Attack will drop up to two (2) stages at the end of each round instead of one (1) stage until it reaches stage zero (0). Critical hits from self-targeting moves do not activate Anger Point.

Defiant (DW UNLOCKED, Passive):

The Pokemon has a deep sense of honor, and whenever one of its stats are decreased by an opponent's Attack or Ability, its Attack increases by two (2) stages. Attack Boosts gained this way are not subject to deterioration that round.

MAXED OUT!!
130/130 Moves
130 / 15 = 8.6 CC => 8CC Floored!!

Note: Due to the update to generation 6 and the new moves that brings, these Pokemon are both not maxed.

How it's gonna go down
  • Matezoide decides on Steve the Primeape's item (if any)
  • King Serperior decides on King the Nidoking's item (if any) and orders
  • Matezoide orders
  • Objection refs
Let's get this over with. I have some DNA evidence to tamper with.

Note: Due to the update to generation 6 and the new moves that brings, these Pokemon are both not maxed.

Mr. Objection. There is a very glaring contradiction in your testimony.

I have Matezoide's prize claim update. Please note the bolded part.

Ok, lets do this...

Hidden Power has it's BAP changed to 6 for everyone.

All references to the Dream World were removed

4 UC are used so Primeape can learn Power Up Punch and Confide, remaxing it.

Round 1 Flavour

Matezoide and King Serperior, doing battle with some of the strongest Pokemon they have. King Serperior's Nidoking, King, appears more aggressive than normal. Probably because his opponent is Steve, Matezoide's Primeape. King just wants to do some damage to this opponent, even at the expense of some nifty little side effects. Even so, however, not only does Steve take the initiative much better than King, but the power of his Earthquakes simply cannot be matched by King's Sludge Wave and Earth Power strikes. It doesn't help that the third seismic attack from the Primeape caught King in a weak spot. Even though the relentless quaking has drained Steve's energy, he seems to have the advantage. Can King pull off an epic comeback, or will Steve keep victory squarely in the jaw of victory?

As Steve continues to make Earthquakes, King decides to get into Steve's head and make him forget how to cause such tremors. He expects Steve to stand around and wonder how to make the ground shake, but instead the Primeape Struggles as hard as he can to land any blow on his opponent before King can put up a Reflective barrier. Steve then tries a different method of shaking the ground, this time with a Bulldoze manoeuvre, and despite the barrier's protection, King cannot take any more and drops.
