Mega Stone Location Guide

*approved by Stellar*

So, everyone needs mega stones to make their pokemon more powerful. I am one of those people. So, I went to several websites, and I couldn't find anything other than the general location of the stones, so this is a thread for you to go to and see where to find the Mega Stone you're looking for.

Guidelines for posting:
Mega Stone Name
Pre-E4 or postgame
General Location
Specific Location

Example:
Gengarite
Pre-E4
Laverre City
Talk to the Hex Maniac near the houses at the entrance of the Poke Ball factory. She'll give you the Gengarite.

List so far:
Pre-E4
Frost Cavern
At the end of Frost Cavern, talk to the Abomasnow and it will be given to you

Post-E4
Cyllage City Gym
The path in this gym is fairly linear. When first entering, the wall that has the Aggronite is the eastern one. In terms of height, the stone is found about midway to the top. It will just be a single path that leads to a dead-end where the stone is glittering.

Alakazite
Post-E4
Reflection Cave
Entering the cave from Shalour City, go down the stairs to your right. Go south after that and take the first path to the left of your screen, which has stairs leading downward. Follow the path and head left when you see the back reflection wall. You should see an entrance in the reflection of the mirror. Follow that path until you eventually hit the southernmost point. To the left should be a raised platform with a colorful illuminated area. The Alakazite is found there.

Post-E4
Chamber of Emptiness
Before you enter the gate to lead to Victory Road on route 22, there will be water you can surf on. Going down the waterfall, there is a cave to the right known as the Chamber of Emptiness that houses the Banettite.

Pre-E4
Lumiose City
If you choose Squirtle from Professor Sycamore, he gives you the Blastoisite with it. If you don't choose Squirtle, the stone can be bought from the old man in the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue. It starts at 1,000,000 each, but if you max out your style, they will drop to 10,000 in price.

Pre-E4
Lumiose City
If you choose Charmander from Professor Sycamore, he gives you the Charizardite X/Y with it. If you don't choose Charmander, the stone can be bought from the old man in the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue. It starts at 1,000,000 each, but if you max out your style, they will drop to 10,000 in price.
You get Charizardite X in X version, and Charizardite Y in Y version.

Post-E4
Victory Road
This one was a fun one. In the open-air area with the ruins of an ancient castle where you have the healer and you fought your rival, it is in the westernmost area. The Garchompite is glittering in front of a column at the northwest point of that map area.

Gengarite
Pre-E4
Laverre City
Talk to the Hex Maniac near the houses at the entrance of the Poke Ball factory. She'll give you the Gengarite.

Post-E4
Couriway Town
From the Pokemon Center cross the bridge and take the stairs on the right, go past the hotel. The Gyaradosite the stone is found among the numerous small waterfalls.

Post-E4
Santalune Forest
When entering the forest from the south side (Aquacorde-Route 2), the Heracronite can be found glittering at the back of one of the larger patches of grass in the first half of the forest. If you take the wide eastern path that leads to the northern half of the forest, you have gone too far. The important thing to remember is that the Mega Stone is found at the back end of a patch of grass against a "wall" or barrier and the blades of grass can actually obscure the glittering.

Post-E4
Route 16
Enter from Route 15/Dendemille Town and go down to an area of foliage where there are two Roller Skaters skating in a circle. The stone is at the bottom of their circle, in the middle.

Post-E4
Glittering Cave
The Mega Stone can be found at the dead end point of one of the first branches that deviate from the main path you encounter when you first enter the cave.

Post-E4
Shabboneau Castle
Thankfully, the castle is quite small. The Mawilite can be found on the second floor of the castle. It is pretty hard to miss.

Post-E4
Laverre City
The Medichamite is found in front of the well by the little body of water with a bridge spanning it northwest of the Pokemon Center.

Santalune Forest
When entering the forest from the south side (Aquacorde-Route 2), the Pinsirite can be found glittering at the back of one of the larger patches of grass in the first half of the forest. If you take the wide eastern path that leads to the northern half of the forest, you've gone too far. The important thing to remember is that the Mega Stone is found at the back end of a patch of grass against a "wall" or barrier and the blades of grass can actually obscure the glittering.

Post-E4
Frost Cavern
Serebii put this one quite well. At the very end of the cave where you ousted Team Flare, the Abomasnow remains. The Scizorite is tucked right behind it.

Post-E4
Cyllage City Gym
The path in the gym is fairly linear. When first entering, I believe the wall that has the Tyranitarite is the eastern one. In terms of height, I think the stone is found about midway to the top. It'll just be a single path that leads to a dead-end where the stone is glittering.

Hooboy.

Venusaurite, Charizardite X/Y, Blastoisite
Pre-E4
Lumiose City Stone Emporium
The first stone is given to you by Sycamore in accordance to the starter you picked.
The rest are sold by a man in the northwest corner of the Stone Emporium on Vernal Avenue (the center south vertical avenue to the right of the South Boulevard Pokemon Center). They start out at 1,000,000 each, but if you max out your style in Lumiose they will eventually decrease to 10,000 in price.

The rest I either forgot the specific locations (Manectite, Gyaradosite), are given to you, or are Y exclusives where I can't verify if they're in the same spots.

Just going to confirm that the Hearcronite in Y is in the same place as the Pinsirite in X, & the Aggronite in Y is in the same place as the Tyranitarite in X. I forget where the Manectite/Houndoomite is, & where the Gyaradosite is (as far as specific locations are concerned).

Hooray for shameless copy/pasting, with some minor prose changes... -.-'

Don't know where the Houndoomite/Manectite is but I remember where the Gyaradosite is.

Gardevoirite
Post E4
Lumiose City
Talk to Diantha in Café Solei. She will ask you for any Pokemon and give you a Ralts holding Gardevoirite in exchange.

Mewtwonite X/Y
Post E4
Unknown Dungeon
Go to the Pokemon Village, and locate the river on the left side of the map. Once there, Surf up the river until you see a cave to the right (should be in front of the waterfall). Enter the cave (The Unknown Dungeon) to find Mewtwo. Talk to it to engage a battle, then catch it. You will then obtain the Mewtwonite X or Y, depending on the version of the game.

I just wanted to point out some spelling mistakes.

It's Houdoominite, Blastoisinite, and Manectite.
