    Hello battlers, are you ready?

    Let's get the battle started!

    Rules:

The Arena will be the ASB, and I am extending the DQ to 2 Days, as that will help me immensly.

    rickheg:

    Dust the Monohm (open)
    Monohm (Dust) F
Nature: Modest (Adds 1 to Special Attack; Subtracts 1 from Attack)

    Type: Electric/Dragon
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.
Dragon: Dragon STAB; More in touch with legendary or special auras in arenas. Able to use Hyper Beam and Giga Impact without losing focus.

    Abilities:
Shield Dust: (Innate) This pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that prevents opponents secondary effects from taking place (eg burn from Flamethrower). It does not block direct status moves (such as Thunder Wave.)
Static: (Innate) This pokemon’s body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this pokemon.
Overcoat (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1).

    Dusclops [Cyclost] (M)
Nature: Quiet (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Divides Base Speed by 1.15 and gives a flat 10 point decrease in evasion, effectively adding 10 accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 95) on an opponent’s attacks.
    Type: Ghost
Summary: Ghost STAB; brief intangibility that nullifies Normal and Fighting-type attacks. Can move through walls for a brief period of time but must remain in motion. Superior senses in low light and inside dark buildings. Have no vision reduction in hazes.

    Orcinus Duo:

    Mind (open)
    Mind (Mr. Mime) (F)
    Nature: Timid
    Type: Psychic
Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

    Abilities:
    Soundproof:Type: Innate
Pokemon with this ability emit their own powerful electrostatic or sound-dampening field, making them immune to sound-based moves other than an ally's or their own Heal Bell. (Known sound moves: Bug Buzz, Chatter, Echoed Voice, Grasswhistle, Growl, Heal Bell, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Relic Song, Roar, Round, Screech, Sing, Snarl, Snore, Supersonic, Uproar.
    Filter:Type: Innate
This Pokemon has a special energy barrier that reduces the Base Attack Power of any opponent’s super-effective attack by two (2).
    Technician (DW):Type: Innate
This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects.

    Mamoslayer (open)
    Bonsly (Mamoslayer) (M)
    Nature: Adamant
Rock STAB; reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Sturdy (innate): This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

Rock Head (innate): This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.

Rattled (innate): These Pokemon are more easily frightened by Ghost-, Bug-, and Dark-typed attacks and will raise their Speed by one (1) stage when struck by attacks of those types. A boost gained this way by an opponent's attack will be maintained at the end of each round. Self-targeted attacks do not maintain boosts.

Bah, I knew I was forgetting something else. Sorry, first match since maybe October? I'm a bit rusty.

I will be giving an Amulet Coin to Dust the Monohm. This match-up looks surprisingly favorable for us.

Dust, get to work on that Bonsly. Begin by using Rain Dance, since it doesn't hurt us as far as I can see. Then, hurl a Weather Ball at Mamoslayer, and finish the round with a Hydro Pump aimed at Mamoslayer.
IF it is not raining A2, use Dragon Pulse at Mamoslayer instead.
IF Mind tries to Encore Rain Dance, use Signal Beam on Mind A1 instead.

    Cyclost, help Dust out.
Start by using Will-O-Wisp on Mamoslayer. Then follow up with a Shadow Punch on Mind, and finish with a Hex on Mamoslayer.

Let's see where that leaves us.

I just noticed you didn't follow my substitution. I said if it isn't raining A2, Dust should use Dragon Pulse instead of Weather Ball.

Anyway, this is going worse than it looks. Man I suck at this.

Dust, Hydro Pump Mamoslayer to prevent Sandstorm. Then, use Torment on Mind, and follow up with Dragon Pulse on Mamoslayer.

Cyclost, you're forced to Hex Mamoslayer twice, then finish the round with Taunt on Mind.

Sorry about the substitution, I edited in the change!

Also, Orcinus, I'll let it slide this time, but you cannot use "Water Type attack" in a sub, as Monohm has two water type attacks, so that's technically two subs..

Also, just noticed abilities were never specified, so I'm just gonna call No Abilities, as that's what I've been doing..

I'm impressed at all the status you've managed to inflict on Cyclost. I probably should have done something about it. Too late now. All I can do is KO Mamoslayer, and hope Cyclost is up to dealing with Mind. Also, dumbass me forgot I was Taunted.

Also, there's no such thing as 3 turns of sleep. It's 1|1|2, not 1|2|3. And Encore states no consecutive energy penalty.

Cyclost, try to do something useful, fight through the pain!

Dust, see if you can finish off that Bonsly, then I need you to weaken that Mr. Mime for Cyclost.

Cyclost, use Shadow Ball Mamoslayer, Earthquake, Shadow Ball Mamoslayer
IF Dust does not have Magnet Rise up, use Night Shade Mamoslayer A2 instead

Dust, use Magnet Rise, Dragon Pulse Mamoslayer, Signal Beam Mamoslayer

IF Mamoslayer is KO'ed, redirect all remaining attacks to Mind.

Technician please. I can let lack of sturdy to slide. I think this might save us a pointless round.

I do not believe this is ref discretion and I apologize for not catching this earlier.

Actually, you know what, we can end this now so whatever. Abilities off it is, but please pay more attention in the future.
Also, dusknoir is paralyzed so speed drop may actually matter. :)
    Dusknoirs status' weren't updated
    Mind: Shadow Ball-psychic-Shadow Ball
If dusknoir uses pain split on you in any form on A1, replace that action with protect
This sub overrides the previous one: If dusknoir uses pain split A1 and a combo involving it on A2, replace your actions with Encore-Shadow Ball-Shadow Ball
    Bonsly: protect-chill-Rock Slide

Sorry about the Abilities confusion... Never meant for that to happen. Honestly I missed that post. Also, not gonna bother w/ pre round stats. Same as last rounds post round stats.

Also, Speed Drops will matter... Bonsly outspeeds Dusknoir for all 3 Actions this round... Just letting you know.

    Calculations (open)
    ACTION ONE

    Dusknoir used Shadow Sneak!
RNG Roll (To Para): 5493/10000 (No)

    Bonsly was KO'd

    Mr. Mime used Protect!
    -19 Energy
    Bonsly used Protect!
    -7 Energy
Dusknoir used Pain Split on Mr. Mime!
(79+17)/2= Both Pokemon at 48 HP! [31 Damage to Mr. Mime]
    -27 Energy

    Dusknoir: -6 HP
    (Now at 11 HP)

    ACTION TWO

    Mr. Mime used Psychic!
RNG Roll (To Crit): 4396/10000 (No)
RNG Roll (To Lower SpDef) (<=1000): 4554/10000 (No)
    ((6+5)+3-1.5)= 13 Damage!
    -7 Energy

    Dusknoir was KO'd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somehow, Bonsly managed to survive the entire game, which sadly prevents Rickheg from receiving any of the ever so useful KOC...

    Rewards:

Orcinus: 3 CC and a Victory
Mind the Mr. Mime: 3 MC, 1 KOC
Mamoslayer the Bonsly: 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC, 1 KOC

Rickheg: 3 CC and a Loss
Cyclost the Dusknoir: 3 MC, 1 KOC
Dust the Monohm: 1 EC, 2 MC, 1 DC

    Me: 5 UC

Again, very good game to both of you. Orcinus's heavy use of status effects overwhelmed Rickheg's mons. I can't feel worse about the abilities mix-up, and while it would not have heavily affected the game's outcome, I still feel bad about it. Good luck in the future to both of you, and enjoy your counters!

Good game Rickheg! Typon, please show para rolls in the future (I'm assuming that's what happened with shadow sneak?). :) Otherwise, great job as a ref and thank you all!

Oops forgot to post pararoll. It was either 5493 or 5439... One of the two.. Either way irrelevant.

Sorry was just anxious to get my UC!

I would perhaps argue that Dusknoir should have KO'ed Bonsly due to lack of para and Shadow Sneak being priority, but let's just pretend he was paralyzed, it doesn't make that big a difference.

Good game Orcinus, you really kicked my ass...again.

    Thanks again for reffing, typon!

Dusknoir does indeed go first and hit Bonsly with Shadow Sneak. Priority is not optional.
