It's explained more in the OP, but tl;dr
You might get drafted by one of the managers (only top 5 from the week are guaranteed draft.) If you do get drafted, you have to play round robin matches (if your manager puts you in for that round) of ORAS/CAP/DPP/LTM/LC/Ubers Mono against another team. If you have any more questions, you can PM me on showdown.
