[Monotype R1] Toon [Flying] vs PTPlatinum [Steel]

"Hello everybody, and welcome to the first ever ASB Monotype Tournament! Up for grabs is a Psychic pixie, or even the coveted Genesect for our lovely winner! I'm your host for this round against two hopeful trainers, Maxim. Now then, before we introduce our lovely players, let's go over the rules shall we?"

Rules said:
Battle Rules
Bring 4, Pick 3 Singles. You PM 4 pokemons to the ref from your team, but the battle will be 3vs3 singles. You will choose and send out your mons as the battle develops.
72 Hour DQ, 1 Warning
Switch = OK
Abilities: All
Items: All
Subsitutions: 3
Megas: 1
Z-Moves: 1
Infinite Recoveries/Chills
Turn Order: Coin Flip
Arena: ASB Tournament Arena
Ubers Rule: Each type has an Ubers list. You may only use one of those Pokemon per match. NOTE: This would mean that you can only send in 1 mon from that list per match.
Special Rule: Pokemon are equipped on send-in, similar to how Anime-Style Simulator challenges work.
Special Rule #2: The Gym League rules on Megas is in effect. A mega may be used as long as it shares a type with the gym. Pokemon that mega evolve into a Pokemon with the right type can only be used in their mega evolved form, and enter the field mega evolved (see: Mega Lopunny in Fighting). Pokemon that lose the proper type on mega evolution may not be used (see: Mega Aggron in Rock).
Special Rule #3: Silvally can be used, but it must hold the Memory associated with the typing of the team, unless you are Normal, in which case, you cannot use a Memory. Silvally will be immune to any item-changing/removing effect if it is holding a Memory item, and Knock Off will get a boosted BAP against a Silvally holding a Memory.
"That's quite a few rules, but if you know how this game works it's not that complicated. Now for our players!"

"In the red corner is the cartoon that people know and love. He's a prolific trainer in ASB, despite not having a gym or other fancy things (though he's definitely trying). Don't let the lack of fancy titles fool you though, he's one tough cookie that knows this game well. It's everyone's favorite Toon!"

That's a powerful team of Flying types at this guy's disposal. I'd pay close attention to Charizard-Y here, as if Toon can remove Platinum's Naviathan from the equation it will probably mow down anything in it's path.
==============================
"In the blue corner is a man of mystery. He's a relative newcomer to ASB, but he's no newbie. Notably he managed to cream me in his Generation 7 Tournament Match, which means he's a serious contender for sure! Will this star go all the way? Let's all welcome PTPlatinum!"

Team PTPlatinum:

Mawile [Venus] (F) @ Mawilite
NATURE: Adamant
TYPE: Steel | Fairy
Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
Fairy: Fairy STAB; The consecutive move usage penalty for using damaging Fairy-type moves is reduced to two (2) from four (4).

ABILITIES: Hyper Cutter | Intimidate | Sheer Force
Hyper Cutter: This Pokemon always keeps its claws/teeth/pincers extremely sharp, and thus cannot have its attack reduced.
Intimidate: When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1). If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as a Command, and will affect all opponents. Command: Activate Intimidate - 5 En - Lowers all foes' Attack (and adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage. Only usable if a foe entered play this round.
Sheer Force: By default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.

NATURE: Serious
TYPE: Steel | Psychic
Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.
Psychic: Psychic STAB; can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

ABILITIES: Clear Body | Light Metal
Clear Body: This Pokemon's body structure makes it immune to stat-lowering moves used by opponents. (e.g. Intimidate, Growl, Screech etc.)
Light Metal: The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. The Pokemon executes weak attacks much more effectively, adding +1 priority to all their attacks with 6 or less Base Attack Power (after other ability adjustments). Light Metal assumes the maximum possible hits from a multi-hit move for the purposes of priority (e.g. Double Kick gets priority as it reaches 6 BAP, Bullet Seed does not get priority as it reaches 15 BAP).

Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.

ABILITIES: Water Veil | Heatproof | Light Metal
Water Veil: Pokemon with this ability always have their body coated in a layer of water which prevents burns.
Heatproof: This Pokemon's mirror-like alloyed skin protects it from Fire-type attacks, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.) The damage inflicted by burns is also cut in half.
Light Metal: The Pokemon's body is made of a lightweight but extremely strong alloy. It weighs half as much as other members of the species, but is equally sturdy. Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm damage, immune to Poison/Toxic status, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, making them susceptible to Poison-type attacks and Poison/Toxic Status.

ABILITIES: Steadfast | Inner Focus | Justified
Steadfast: If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases its Speed (adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage to make up the difference.
Inner Focus: When an opponent attempts to flinch this Pokemon, it stands firm and continues its attack. If it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability activates.

In lieu of PT's LoA, and the fact that this match has gone only 1 round in, this match will end rewardless... and stay tuned to the Round 1 Thread for more
