It was brought to my attention that Zyo's post is a bit controversial. A Life Orb Pinsir set with Extreme Speed is fine, however if Pinsir was to mega evolve, it would be ridiculously strong with Extreme Speed. What I decided to do is, since the set is for a Life Orb Pinsir set and it has nothing to do with Mega Pinsir, I'll let this one slide and pretend that Mega Pinsir doesn't exist. But for future references, suggestions like these should be avoided because there's really nothing stopping Extreme Speed Pinsir from mega evolving and being broken as hell. When giving suggestions for Pokemon that can mega evolve, make sure it won't make the mega evolution broken.

Ok, so, my idea is to give Scyther less speed and more attack + Bug/Steel typing + Bullet Punch to make it a good fairy check, and to solo Rock and Ice teams.

Just kidding, I'm giving it Bug/Rock typing + Rock Tomb

Scyther (Bug/Rock) @ Eviolite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bug Bite/U-turn
- Rock Tomb
- Roost/Swords Dance
- Swords Dance/Quick Attack/Defog

Scyther has a neat speed tier in 105, being able to outspeed and hit hard almost every unboosted Fire, Bug and Flying pokemon in the meta with Technician Rock Tomb, OHKOing notable threats for Bug like Volcarona, Charizard-Y and Mega Pinsir (And if it comes down to it, it even lives a Scarf Victini V-Create or a band Entei Sacred Fire, OHKOing Victini and Entei (Entei after rocks) back). The rest of the set is pretty standard Scyther, with Bug Bite being used as a secondary STAB, Roost being used for reliable recovery, considering the Eviolite boost makes Scyther pretty bulky. Swords Dance is a great move on it that can be used in a more offensivelly inclined set with Quick Attack or in a bulky offensive set with Roost. Defog is also an option because of Scyther's solid speed tier and the new Bug/Rock typing, since now it isn't 4x weak to Stealth Rock, providing fast hazard removal for teammates like Volcarona and Mega Pinsir. Lastly, U-turn is always a good option and this Scyther set can force a lot of switches, so U-turn can provide momentum. A Scarf set with Rock Tomb/Bug Bite/U-turn/Pursuit also deserves a mention for this Scyther, considering it still deals with +1 Volcarona while also outspeeding more threats like Scarf Victini, Mega Pidgeot and Scarf Togekiss.

Here are some calcs to prove how useful this can be
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Fiery Dance vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Scyther: 162-192 (57.6 - 68.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Victini V-create vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Scyther: 196-232 (69.7 - 82.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Technician Scyther Rock Tomb vs. -1 0 HP / 4 Def Victini: 390-462 (114.3 - 135.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Entei Sacred Fire vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Scyther: 198-234 (70.4 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (lol)
252 Atk Technician Scyther Rock Tomb vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Entei: 300-354 (80.8 - 95.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Technician Scyther Rock Tomb vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Zapdos: 302-356 (78.8 - 92.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Aerilate Mega Pinsir Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Scyther: 199-235 (70.8 - 83.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Technician Scyther Rock Tomb vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Pinsir: 448-532 (165.3 - 196.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Technician Scyther Rock Tomb vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Armaldo: 188-224 (53.1 - 63.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Nothing personal, I protect my people
Kevin Durant + Golden State Typing

Kevin Durant (Small Forward/SF) @ Golden State
Ability: Bandwagon Player
EVs: 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), 240 lb (109 kg)
Choke Nature
- Blow Leads
- Sign With Better Team That Also Blows Leads
- ...
- Profit

Alrighty, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's actually start this Theorymon.

Technician Bug/Ground Durant

Durant (Bug/Ground) @ Choice Scarf / Choice Band / Life Orb / etc.
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rock Tomb
- Bug Bite
- Bulldoze
- Superpower / Bite / Iron Head / Thunder Fang / Aerial Ace / etc.

Now you may be thinking to yourself that Bug already has access to probably the best Technician user, so why choose Technician here? Well, because it's a pretty good ability, especially when paired with a STAB Bulldoze. Fire and Rock got you down? Here is your answer. When considering Durant, to me, it's a Pokemon that has a lot of Potential but is limited by its ability/accuracy and by its typing. With this new Durant, Bug Monotype now has an effective and fast counter to handle your team's biggest weaknesses. Giving Durant access to the combination of Rock Tomb and Bulldoze as well allows Bug to have strong, reliable options against Fire, Flying, Rock, Steel, etc. Also, with Durant's 109 Base Speed, its usage as a speed creep to scarf Terrakion, Victini, etc. gives it an even greater reason to be utilized. Plus, it's neutral to Rock/s and can't be T-Waved.

252 Atk Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Victini: 260-308 (76.2 - 90.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Life Orb Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Torkoal: 195-229 (56.8 - 66.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Life Orb Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Volcanion: 289-343 (79.3 - 94.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 496-588 (128.4 - 152.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Terrakion: 284-336 (87.9 - 104%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Technician Durant Bulldoze vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Diancie: 240-284 (99.5 - 117.8%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Technician Durant Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 176-210 (44.6 - 53.2%) -- 85.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Durant Superpower vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Bisharp: 460-544 (169.7 - 200.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Life Orb Durant Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Mega Gardevoir: 283-335 (102.1 - 120.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Edit: Never read Czim's post, sorry if it's similar.

Granbull @ Life Orb
Ability: Tough Claws

Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Play Rough
- Fire Punch
- Close Combat

Pretty Ez Heat i got here, Fairy lacks good physical attackers besides Azumarill and Slurpuff, Tough Claws increases its damage output. Mach Punch is great priority and becomes STAB with the Fairy/Fighting typing. Close Combat also becomes great STAB in addition to Life Orb. and besides, ik we are all hoping for a fairy/fighting mon in gen 7

Fairy/Fire Fur Coat Wigglytuff

Base Stats: 140 HP / 70 Atk / 45 Def / 85 SpA / 50 SpD / 45 Spe

Type: Fairy / Fire
Wigglytuff @ Leftovers
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Thunder Wave / Focus Blast / Dazzling Gleam
- Flamethrower

"But it doesn't make sense for Wigglytuff to get Fire type..."

"But why would it get Fur Coat? It's fat, not fluffy..."

That's how Guildmaster Wigglytuff feels about your opinion. It can be Fire type and fluffy if it wants to. Anyway, on to the explanation.

Fairy is one of the types that hates to see a Scizor in team preview. Klefki and Togekiss with Flamethrower can be decent checks to Scizor, but it's still a tough matchup. That's where this Wigglytuff comes in. Fire typing and Fur Coat allow it to switch in on boosted Bullet Punches easily, and Fire STAB allows it to OHKO Scizor in return. 16 EVs in Special Attack is enough to guarantee a OHKO on max HP Mega Scizor.

+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 248 HP / 244+ Def Fur Coat Wigglytuff: 138-163 (28.5 - 33.7%) -- 0.3% chance to 3HKO

16 SpA Wigglytuff Flamethrower vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Scizor: 348-412 (101.1 - 119.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The rest of its moves are for making it useful when not facing a Scizor. It has an outstanding HP stat, so it can pass nice fat Wishes to keep its team healthy. Its bulk along with Fur Coat also makes it easier to spread paralysis with Thunder Wave.

The major downside of this set is how it's walled by Heatran. Focus Blast can put a dent in it, but Wiggly can't even guarantee a 2HKO against a Heatran with no bulk investment.

16 SpA Wigglytuff Focus Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Heatran: 146-174 (45.2 - 53.8%) -- 40.2% chance to 2HKO
