(Pardon the lack of Pokemon; jayjinde sent in an FE 'mon and I'm waiting for him to send a new one. I just wanted to get the thread up.)

Plaza of Verona: After here is like a blast back to the (far) past, for the arena is set back in Shakespearean times! the people speak like they did in shakepeare's plays, and the two clans of his classical tale romeo and juliet, the Montagues and Capulets, are out and ready to fight! the scene is the plaza of the city, which is 800 feet wide and long. int he center is a beautiful and intricate water fountain (20 feet tall, 50 feet wide and long). Now imagine the fountain is in the center of a 300 by 300 foot cobblestone circle. surrounding that circle are stairs that lead up to the rest of the arena, for the fountain and its circle are three feet lower. the whole arena is flat and even, dwarfed by the tall, ancient buildings of old italy. No weather can be induced and no seismic activity can be triggered. (this next part is up to teh ref) If the players join in with the theme and post commands like he or she is in romeo and Juliet times their Pokemon will get bonuses. (e.g Thoust raticate! thy fury pour down bladed fang with agile wit! Hyper be so for devilish fiend to vanquish!)

-To clarify the above: Any set of actions posted in Shakespearean English and proper iambic pentameter will award a +1 BAP boost and -1 Energy Cost to every move used by that Pokemon that round. The boost may be gained every other round, although you can still post like a Shakespeare play for flavor purposes.
-For reffing purposes, each of you will receive the name of a character from Romeo and Juliet as follows: Romeo (The Wanderer), Benvolio (Texas Cloverleaf), Mercutio (dragonboy52), Tybalt (jayjinde). Big Boy gets a nice little boost because his trainer uses iambic pentameter to deliver orders, but it doesn't help him much at first because Porygon2's Tri Attack freezes him! He's only lightly frozen, but that's still enough to keep him frozen solid for the first action! Porygon2 takes advantage of the chance to chill, but then Big Boy thaws out and nails Porygon2 with a Cross Chop! However, his Light Screen wears off, and Porygon2 takes full advantage with another Tri Attack! Big Boy avoids status this time though, and gets the opportunity to refresh his Light Screen! It may be a bit too late though, as Big Boy is looking pretty beat up! Can Porygon2 finish it off this round?
