Just wondering, any reason why TheReptile's Dewgong isn't in the collected entries post?

New Typing(if any): Water/Ice
Movepool Addition(s): Work Up, Freeze-Dry, Slack Off, Heal Bell
New Abilities(if any): Thick Fat / Technician / Fur Coat

Well guys discuss the results, but I want you all to discuss in more detail. Twenty new Pokémon have just been added to OU. Try to find checks, counters and teammates to these new buffed mns. Also teams would be great! Signing off!

Okay let's have a go..

Dewgong
makes for a good partner for Dragon types like Garchomp or Dragonite. Bait Ice type moves or physical moves with your x4 weak Dragon then switch to a defensive Fur Coat Dewgong to tank the hit like a champ- which it can recover damage with Slack Off or use Heal Bell to heal any status like burns on your dragon. (Even better if that dragon is a Salamence with Intimidate to soften physical hits even further). It can also be a good partner with Landorus-T because of Intimidate and U-turn.

Dewgong can also tank a Play Rough- Non-Choice band Azumarill's Play Rough is a 3HKO on 252 HP/0 Def Fur Coat Leftovers Dewgong for example. Plus, Dewgong can hit back with a super effective Freeze Dry in return. 120 EVs on Special Attack is enough to guarantee a 2HKO on Assault Vest Azumarill.

On the other hand, Dewgong's Technician priority is great for those Dragons with Ice Shard. It also has Fake Out for say, Multiscale Dragonite but it's a bit situational.

Maybe something like:

Dewgong @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Adamant/Naive 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
-Aqua Jet
-Ice Shard
-Work Up
-Freeze Dry/Heal Bell/Slack Off

Work Up boosts when you get the chance. Physical Priority focus means you're susceptible to Burns so Heal Bell sorts that out. Slack Off to heal Life Orb damage and Freeze Dry to get around Water types and use the Special Attack boost as well, although you'll need to change your nature for maximum power. It can't do anything to Ice-resistant Grass types though such as Ferrothorn or Mega Venusaur (thanks to Thick Fat). Sets without Freeze Dry also struggle Mega-Slowbro or Pokemon with water absorbing abilities.

Other options include a special set with Freeze Dry and Frost Breath, although sadly Dewgong's best Water move is Surf (as someone else pointed out, strange that it has no Hydro Pump).

Avalugg is a much better spinner thanks to its new abilities. Refrigerate means unblockable Rapid Spins AND Body Slam which can cause paralysis, helping with its poor Speed stat. Maybe something like

Avalugg @ Leftovers
Ability: Refrigerate
Adamant/Careful 252 Atk/252 SpD/ 4 HP
-Body Slam/Return/Double-Edge
-Iron Head/Earthquake
-Rapid Spin/Knock Off
-Recover

Iron Head can be used with Body Slam paralysis for some parahax, although Earthquake gives nice coverage. Return gives more power, but you can also go to the extreme with Double Edge if you don't mind recoil since you have Recover. If you don't particular need a spinner, Knock Off is nice utility. Recover is self-explanatory. While it's very weak to Fire and Fighting, Avalugg's biggest threat is Mega-Charizard-Y since it can do nothing in return and will just get roasted by sun-boosted Fire attacks.

Another set:

Avalugg @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Careful 252 Atk/252 SpD/ 4 HP
-Ice Shard
-Earthquake/Iron Head
-Rapid Spin/Avalanche
-Knock Off

Utility pivot tank. Without Refrigerate though, it has more limited physical Ice options and loses unblockable Rapid Spin. Stealth Rock neutrality and Toxic Spikes immunity still make it a good Spinner while Knock Off is useful for walls. Assault Vest makes it even bulkier on the special side, for example:

232 SpA Mega Gardevoir Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Avalugg: 142-168 (33.5 - 39.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Hoopa Unbound Dark Pulse vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Avalugg: 97-114 (22.9 - 26.9%) -- 42% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Mega Alakazam Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Avalugg: 150-178 (35.4 - 42%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Heatran Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Avalugg: 168-198 (39.7 - 46.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Beartic's new Fighting STAB means it can do something about Ferrothorn and not be completely walled- Tough Claws Superpower is a guaranteed OHKO. It can also deal with Tyranitar as it is now resistant to Dark and neutral to Rock. It does need to watch out for Azumarill and Talonflame though.

Vanilluxe appreciate a new coverage option of Focus Blast, and Refrigerate Tri Attack sounds neat as well especially if it scores a burn. Water Absorb is nice to absorb Scalds/heal off hazard damage.

Vanilluxe @ Leftovers
Ability: Refrigerate
Timid/Modest 252 SpA/252 Spd/ 4 HP
-Tri Attack
-Freeze Dry/Focus Blast
-Rapid Spin/Focus Blast
-Spikes

Utility/Offensive Spikes set, Tri Attack is generally stronger but against Water types, Freeze Dry is superior. Focus Blast for Steels. Although it has unblockable Rapid Spin, it is outclassed as a Spinner as mono Ice is poor against hazards, so you opt for Focus Blast here.

Name: Regice
New Typing: Ice/Electric
New Abilities: Analytic/Heatproof
New Stats: 80/50/120/120/200/20
Movepool Additions: Recover, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Energy Ball
Justification: I'm giving all the golems part Electric-type, which their glowing eyes should be suffice to represent - at the same time, their robotic-like look lead to me giving them Analytic. Regice here gets Heatproof as the HA due to its pokedex: "Its icy body is so cold, it will not melt even if it is immersed in magma." Recover is kind of Regirock's thing, but since they're all said to be man-made, it isn't too much of a stretch to assume that they can all repair themselves. Energy Ball is more of a genetic energy-based move than Grass-type specifically, which is why I don't feel there's any problem giving it that.
Niche in OU: STAB BoltBeam? STAB BoltBeam.
While Ice is still a terrible defensive typing, Electric-type gives it some more resistances, remove the Steel-type weakness and gives a Ground-type weakness in return. Having Energy Ball to cover those Water/Ground or Ice/Ground mons, it can effectively work as a special tank, hitting extra hard with Analytic, or a more defensive variant with Heatproof eliminating its Fire-type weakness. It's still weak to Stealth Rock, but Recover helps with that immensely. Furthermore, it can now do a slow Volt Switch out, allowing a teammate to switch in safely.

Name: Regirock
New Typing: Rock/Electric
New Abilities: Analytic/Solid Rock
New Stats: 80/120/200/50/120/20
Movepool Additions: Recover, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Magnet Rise
Justification: See Regice for the reasoning for Electric-type and Analytic. Solid Rock, well, Regirock is literally a pile of rock. How much more flavorful can you get? Recover is based on Regirock's pokedex entry: "If this Pokémon’s body is damaged in battle, it is said to seek out suitable rocks on its own to repair itself." As for Magnet Rise? I'm pretty sure it has some magnets hidden in those rocks of it.
Niche in OU: Similar to Regice, it now has another STAB to take advantage of, and while the 4x weakness to Ground is rather crippling, it can use Magnet Rise on a predicted switch to take care of that issue. Recover gives it further longevity, allowing Regirock to act as a pretty good tank, especially with Solid Rock alleviating its weaknesses. Analytic is an option if you want more power, but Regirock can be hurt pretty badly without Solid Rock's protection.

Name: Registeel
New Typing: Steel/Electric
New Abilities: Analytic/Bulletproof
New Stats: 80/90/155/90/155/20
Movepool Additions: Recover, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Knock Off
Justification: See Regice for reasoning behind Electric-type, Analytic and Recover. Bulletproof isn't completely flavorful, but it's based on the pokedex: "Its body is said to be harder than any kind of metal." Knock Off is really just a generic move, to be honest.
Niche in OU: Now, with Recover and Bulletproof in hand, Registeel can sit in front of quite a lot of special attackers due to its immunity to Focus Blast and Shadow Ball. Well, as long as they don't carry Ground-type coverage, that is. Other than that, It can comfortably take most attacks and simply Recover off the damage, and then fire back a powerful Gyro Ball off the incredibly slow 20 Speed. It can even run a Curse Set with Gyro Ball and Thunder Punch/Knock Off, hitting off its decent 90 Atk/SpA.

Name: Regigigas
New Typing: Normal/Ground
New Abilities: Sheer Force/Unaware
New Stats: 105/155/100/60/100/70 (BST 590)
Movepool Additions: Whirlwind, Rest, Slack Off, Bulk Up
Justification: Regigigas is said to tow the continents, so a Ground subtype isn't out of the blue; It also plays to the shared Electric-type of the Regis, signifying that Regigigas is the trio leader. Sheer Force because you're going to need some really strong force to pull continents, and Unaware is sort of a succesor to Slow Start, as Regigigas is shown to be standing in a temple, almost statue-like, without caring about moss growing on it.
Now, as for the moves: Rest is really just there because Regigigas doesn't learn it despite it fitting flavor so much, Slack Off is sort of in the same vein, and its body is bulky enough to learn Bulk Up. And Whirlwind makes sense, I swear! Well, as much sense as Snorlax, Grumpig, Rampardos and Hippowdon learning it does.
Niche in OU: With this, you get either an incredibly bulky nuke with Sheer Force to boost its coverages, or an Unaware tank/wall with offensive presence. With 105/100/100 bulk, it can set up Bulk Up with ease, with STAB Return and Earthquake plus Knock Off for perfect coverage. You can do RestTalk, defensive, Bulk Up with Slack Off, Assault Vest, Band, maybe even Scarf - only thing holding back it is the weaknesses to the common Fighting-, Water- and Ice-type moves.

WIP

Name:
Regice
New Typing: Ice/Electric
New Abilities: Snow Warning / Analytic / Heatproof
New Stats: 80/40/110/120/180/60
Movepool Additions: + Volt Switch + Magnet Rise + Calm Mind + Recover
Justification: Ice/Electric is THE type for Regice. Just look at its movepool. Its abilities are all flavourful, Heatproof fits it really well cuz Flash Fire would make it broken. because its dex says "
It is said to have slept in a glacier for thousands of years. Its body can't be melted, even by magma." Snow Warning because its so cold it summons Snow Storms. And Analytic because it looks like a robot. Volt Switch and Magnet Rise are standard Electric moves that it doesnt already. Calm Mind is just for set up and Recover is the move that links the Regis.
Niche in OU: STAB Boltbeam? Check! Good bulk? Check! Regice is a wallbreaker, Tank and even a sweeper if played right. While 60 base speed sucks it allows it to abuse Analytic to its fullest potential. 80/110/180 bulk allows it to be able beat most special attackers 1v1. Rock Polish can easily make it pressure offensive teams.

Name: Regirock
New Typing: Rock/Fighting
New Abilities: Rock Head / Iron Fist / Regenerator
New Stats: 80/120/180/40/110/60
Movepool Additions: + Close Combat + Head Smash + Mach Punch + Recover
Justification: Its head is made of rocks so... Regirock has alot of punching moves in its arsenal, so Iron Fist and its new Fighting typing actually fits well. Regenerator is because of its dex entry "
Regirock was sealed away by people long ago. If this Pokémon’s body is damaged in battle, it is said to seek out suitable rocks on its own to repair itself". Close Combat and Mach Punch are classic Fighting attacks. Head Smash because its head made of rocks and Recover was already stated.
Niche in OU: Deep trouble for burd spam! (Actually they can 2hko at most) Regirock is best suited at being a strong tank abusing either Rock Head Head Smash or Iron Fist Mach Punch + Drain Punch. Its offensive sets can be very potent, but Regenvest is by far its best set, capitalizing on its stellar 80/180/110 bulk. It also has Physically defensive sets that it abuses hazard setting and spreading paralysis. Great Rock type.

Name: Registeel
New Typing: Steel/Psychic
New Abilities: Filter / Unaware / Pressure
New Stats: 80/105/140/65/140/60
Movepool Additions: + Skill Swap + Recover + Gyro Ball + Cosmic Power
Justification: Registeel has ton of entries in its Pokédex refering that its made from metal thats not of this Earth, and Psychic is the type most linked with space so bam, Steel/Psychic. Filter and Pressure are both references to its Pokedex entries as well. Skill Swap and Cosmic Power are both flavourful additions. Gyro Ball is a common steel attack thats also flavourful. Recover is Once again the link move.
Niche in OU:

Name:
Regigigas

New Abilities: Scrappy / Mold Breaker / Sap Sipper

+ Swords Dance + Hammer Arm + Slack Off + Rest

Name: Regirock
New Typing: Rock
New Abilities: Rock Head/Sturdy/Solid Rock
New Stats: 80/120/150/60/120/60 [BST: 590]
Movepool Additions: +Recover, +Power Trick, +Head Smash, +Wild Charge
Justification: Rock Head, Sturdy, and Solid Rock are mostly self-explanatory; all are commonly associated with Rock-types, and Regirock is a Rock-type and entirely composed of rock itself, so I felt they were fitting in that respect. (In addition, some of Regirock's Pokédex entries show that it replaces parts of its body that chip off in battle with new rocks; maybe if it's able to do that on the fly, Rock Head is justified in that way?) Regirock's new stats don't really have much flavor justification behind them, as I simply wanted to make Regirock and the other Regis more balanced stats-wise overall. Recover refers to the aforementioned replacement of parts of its body with rocks, Power Trick doesn't really have much flavor justification (doesn't really need it either, it's rather ambiguous in its function) but allows Regirock to become a more powerful attacker, Head Smash is for an extremely powerful STAB to potentially take advantage of Rock Head if it has it, and Wild Charge is also to take advantage of Rock Head and it's not too much of a stretch as the Regis already learn many Electric-type moves.
Niche in OU: Decently bulky Rock-type attacker. Its main niche is the ability to spam a recoil-less STAB Head Smash off a good 120 base Attack (150 if Power Trick is used), though arguably Tyrantrum does this better as it's faster and has Dragon Dance. Regirock could pull off a bulky Curse set using its defenses to take hits and using recoil-less Head Smash and Wild Charge as its main attacking moves; it could also be an offensive Stealth Rock setter if your team needs one. (It also has Solid Rock as an ability so it could be used as a wall but Regirock even with Recover doesn't really have the movepool to pull that off)

Name: Regice
New Typing: Ice
New Abilities: Ice Body/Heatproof/Refrigerate
New Stats: 80/60/120/120/150/60 [BST: 590]
Movepool Additions: +Recover, +Freeze-Dry, +Tri Attack, +Volt Switch
Justification: I normally don't like giving -ate abilities to Pokémon in projects like these, but Regice is a special case: Its Pokédex entry from Sapphire and Alpha Sapphire states that Regice is able to make things freeze just because they're in its vicinity (Heatproof is justified by the same entry: "Its icy body is so cold, it will not melt even if immersed in magma"). With evidence like that, it would make less sense for it to not have Refrigerate than to have it. Recover doesn't have any particular flavor justification but is for reliable recovery, Freeze-Dry is justified by the same Pokédex entry as Refrigerate (and also allows it to hit those pesky Water/Grounds for significant damage), Tri Attack is for a reliable Special Normal move to abuse with Refrigerate (and doesn't directly contradict flavor, either; Regice's arms look like miniature versions of itself if you look at them a certain way), and Volt Switch is justified the same way as Regirock's new access to Wild Charge.
Niche in OU: Bulky Ice-type attacker. Even with its new movepool and Ability additions Regice doesn't look like it'll be fantastic since it's still fairly slow and is of course an Ice-type, but it does have Rock Polish and Refrigerate Tri Attack (as well as Thunderbolt and Focus Blast for coverage) so it could function as a special sweeper if you wanted it to.

Name: Registeel
New Typing: Steel
New Abilities: Pressure/Filter/Light Metal
New Stats: 80/90/135/90/135/60 [BST: 590]
Movepool Additions: +Recover, +Gyro Ball, +Volt Switch, +Knock Off
Justification: Pressure: "Tempered by pressure underground over tens of thousands of years, its body cannot be scratched." Okay I know that's pretty flimsy justification, but Pressure being the generic Legendary ability it is it doesn't really need justification.
Filter: "Its body is said to be harder than any kind of metal. A study has revealed that its body is hollow."
Light Metal: Same reason it has it as a HA normally
Recover: Reliable recovery. That's about all there is to it.
Gyro Ball: It's a slow Steel-type. That's about all the justification I need.
Volt Switch: For retention of momentum. Also because it learns a lot of Electric-type moves already.
Knock Off: Generic move that doesn't really need much justification. More specifically, Registeel's official art makes it look like this would fit quite well.
Niche in OU: Registeel is generally considered the best of the Regi trio already from my knowledge, and it gets better here with newfound access to Recover for the reliable recovery it was so desperately lacking before, as well as Gyro Ball, Volt Switch, and Knock Off to aid its offensive potential and, in the case of the latter two, give it more utility options. Similarly to Regirock, Registeel can also pull off a Curse set as it now has STAB Gyro Ball, but it's probably better off as a wall given its stat distribution.

Name: Regigigas
New Typing: Normal/Fighting
New Abilities: Intimidate/Mold Breaker/Contrary
New Stats: 110/150/100/80/100/50 [BST: 590]
Movepool Additions: +Protect, +Rest, +Hammer Arm
Justification: Who needs justification when you have a Contrary user with both Superpower and Hammer Arm and unlike Serperior and Malamar is actually bulky enough to take a neutral hit?

Okay, in all seriousness:
Intimidate: Partially due to Regigigas' imposing stature, partially due to in a meta sense how it'd be terrifying normally if it didn't have the crippling ability Slow Start.
Mold Breaker: Don't really have any solid evidence as to why or why not this would fit, but Regigigas is certainly imposing enough for the role.
Contrary: lol
Protect, Rest: Because it doesn't get them normally while nearly everything else does. Also, Rest is incredibly fitting flavor-wise given that you have to awaken Regigigas to be able to battle it.
Hammer Arm: The other Regis get it, Regigigas doesn't. Also, apparently it was seen using it in the anime.
Niche in OU: quickbanned probably

Name: Regice
New Typing: Ice/Electric
New Abilities: Magic Guard / Heatproof / Levitate
New Stats: 100/50/100/100/200/40
Movepool Additions: Recover, Wild Charge
Justification: Electric-typing is due to Regice's honestly rather silly Electric movepool. Magic Guard because of Regice's very...magic look. Heatproof is because Pokedex. Levitate fits with the previous options in the way of removing a major downfall of Regice (in the form of its new Ground weakness). Recover is for... recovery. Wild Charge is mostly just a random Electric move.
Niche in OU: A versatile Pokemon, with a variety of roles. While we all know how great being Ice/Electric is for offense, what you DIDN'T know is that it's alright for defense too. Regice also has three excellent Ability options. Both Levitate and Heatproof eliminate a weakness, and Magic Guard eliminates the most problematic part of Regice's Rock weakness and then makes Regice effectively immune to Toxic while it's at it.

Name: Regirock
New Typing: Rock
New Abilities: Magic Guard / Regenerator / Levitate
New Stats: 100/100/200/50/100/40
Movepool Additions: Recover, Head Smash
Justification: Magic Guard and Levitate are just in accordance with its more magical kin. Regenerator is a reference to one of its Pokedex entries. Recover is in the same boat as Regenerator. Head Smash is a STAB that abuses Magic Guard very heavily.
Niche in OU: Yeah, smash them heads! Erherm... Regirock is a very bulky physical threat due to a great combination of Magic Guard and Head Smash. Besides, if it ever gets burned, it can just retreat to a quiet life of walling. Oh, or it could just hold a Toxic Orb and not get burned at all - that's cool too.

Name: Regice
New Stats: 95/40/80/125/200/50
New Typing: Ice
New Abilites: Filter, Heatproof
Movepool Additions: Magic Coat, Recover, Volt Switch
Justification: Heatproof and Filter are references to its Pokedex entries, Recover gives defensive sets the reliable recovery they desperately need, and Magic Coat provides some protection from status.
Niche in OU: Offensive user of Filter
Example Sets

Name: Regirock
New Stats: 95/110/200/25/110/50
New Typing: Rock
New Abilites: Solid Rock, Regenerator
Movepool Additions: Autotomize, Recover, Sharpen
Justifications: Regenerator, Autotomize, and Recover are references to its Pokedex entries, and Sharpen was added because... well... it's basically a living pile of rocks.
Niche in OU: A bulky pivot for sand teams
Example Sets

Name: Registeel
New Stats: 95/115/145/55/130/50
New Typing: Steel
New Abilities: Filter, Sturdy
Movepool Additions: Recover, Gyro Ball, Rapid Spin, Magic Coat
Justification: Filter and Sturdy are references to its Pokedex entry, Recover is a desperately-needed healing move, and Gyro Ball and Rapid Spin were added due to its shape (It's basically a sphere with limbs)
Niche in OU: A bulky spinner for defensive teams
Example Sets

Name: Regigigas
New Stats: 110/130/120/60/90/80
New Typing: Normal
New Abilities: Sheer Force, Oblivious
Movepool Additions: King's Shield, Protect, Body Slam, Rest
Justification: King's Shield is a defensive move suitable for a king of giants, Sheer Force is a reference to its Pokedex entry, Body Slam provides utility (The other Regis can learn it too, so Wynaut?), and Protect and Rest were added because almost every other Pokemon can learn it.
Niche in OU: A bulky nuke or a tank that's immune to Taunt
Example Sets

Name: Registeel
New Stats: 95/125/100/10/100/20
New Typing(if any): Steel
Movepool Addition(s): Gyro Ball, Recover, Rapid Spin, Cosmic Power
New Abilities(if any): Filter
Justification: Registeel had low offense and no reliable recover in its base form, so I figured I'd make it a slow Gyro Baller with Recover access. Its Pokedex mentions its body can't be scratched, so I made its ability Filter. Gyro Ball and Rapid Spin were added because it's just a sphere with two arms and stubby legs.
Niche in OU: Moderately bulky Gyro Baller/Rapid Spinner. Cosmic Power will help boost its defenses further, and Filter results in it having no effective weaknesses.

Name: Regice
New Stats: 105/20/100/140/200/25
New Typing: Ice
New Abilites: No Guard/Regenerate
Movepool Additions: Recover, Calm Mind, Trick Room, Metal Sound
Justification: As a golem, it has no time to worry about accuracy, and its body just rebuilds itself.
Niche in OU: All you need is a mix of No Guard with all these powerful moves! Zap Cannon, Blizzard, Focus Blast... use Dynamic Punch if you want to be an absolute dick! Or go the defensive route.

Name: Regirock
New Stats: 105/140/200/20/100/25
New Typing: Rock
New Abilites: No Guard/Dry Skin
Movepool Additions: Recover, Bulk Up, Rock Wrecker, Gunk Shot
Justification: As a golem, it has no time to worry about accuracy, and its body is so dry... yea.
Niche in OU: No Guard finds less use than on Regice. Sure you could Zap Cannon from 20 power, an Dynamic Punch with actual power, but Stone Edge and Gunk Blast make an awkward combo. On the other hand, being a Rain based teammate and gaining water immunity is just what was needed! Rock Wrecker is just flavor.

New Abilites: Flash Fire/Intimidate
Movepool Additions: Recover, Meteor Mash, Sacred Fire, King Shield
Justification: Gotta have that fire resistance because Flash Fire tends to be frowned upon for non-fire types. Also Intimidate is scary, and mixed with Burns and King Shield, you neuter sweepers.

EDIT: Scratch that, Flash Fire works because Regigigas forged this mofo out of magma.
Niche in OU: Combining Intimidate with King's Shield and a steel typing can go pretty dang far. You get defensive and with Sacred Fire to represent your awesome Magma, you can STAY defensive physically.

Name: Regigigas
New Stats: 120/110/105/85/105/50
New Typing: Normal
New Abilites: Protean/Tough Claws
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Meteor Mash, Play Rough,
Justification: Protean fits the idea of the Tabula Rasa that is Regigigas. He's the whatever you need him to be Regi after all. Tough Claws fit those... tough claws. If he can shape others, then it can shape its own element as well.
Niche in OU: A slow defensive Protean user won't quite be as brutal as Greninja ever was... or so I assume. See the idea is the 50 speed is a real heel to that plan. Sure now you can become a fairy or a Steel type, or even heal, but you're slow. In fact, I think 50 speed isn't even slow enough.

If shapeshifting isn't your thing, almost all of Gigas' moves are contact based. Not all, granted, but enough to hit hard enough not to type shift.

New Typing: Ice/Steel
New Abilites: Magic Guard/Water Absorb/Flash Fire
Movepool Additions: Recover, Freeze Dry, Volt Switch, Calm Mind
Justification: Magic Guard fits regis since they are mysterious guardians of...something. Water Absorb fits a big freezing block of ice and Flash Fire is there because of how fire doesn't melt it, which is pretty much like Fire having no effect.
Niche in OU: Immune to both Toxic and Burn and with reliable recovery, Regice makes a really good special wall.

New Stats: 90/120/200/30/110/30
New Typing: Rock/Electric
New Abilites: Magic Guard/Sand Stream/Sand Force
Movepool Additions: Recover, Bulk Up, Head Smash, Wild Charge
Justification: Usually found in desert ruins so Sand-based abilities work well. Learns a lot of Electric moves so Electric fits.
Niche in OU: A force to reckon with in sand thanks to the Special Defense boost. Recoil-less Wild Charge/Head Smash will hurt.

Name: Registeel
New Stats: 90/100/165/30/165/30
New Typing: Steel/Dark
New Abilites: Magic Guard/Sturdy/Unaware
Movepool Additions: Recover, Knock Off, Bullet Punch, Cosmic Power
Justification: All the defensive abilities! Cosmic Power because the metal is not from this world.
Niche in OU: Use the resistances to the fullest. Bullet Punch can pick off weakened opponents.

Name: Regigigas
New Stats: 100/135/105/35/105/100
New Typing: Normal/Ground
New Abilites: Tinted Lens/Scrappy/Moldbreaker
Movepool Additions: Slack Off, Protect, Rest, Magic Coat
Justification: Those three-coloured orbs are like eye or lens in a way, and it helps with how Normal is not super effective on anything. Protect/Rest is given and Moldbreaker fits a pokemon who moved islands and goes with Earthquake STAB.
Niche in OU: Huge Attack lures Will-o-wispers so magic Coat deals with those who like to burn Gigas. Tinted Lens is interesting but totally countered by levitating Ghosts, so have Knock Off if you want to use this ability.

You know how voting goes.

Im really shellshocked and actually cant decide between subs, so its all down to you all!

There were multiple submissions for each Pokémon that I really liked, so I decided to include runner-ups to each vote to make sure that the ones that I liked, but not quite enough to be my #1 pick, wouldn't go unacknowledged.

Regice:
zerobreaker000 (runner-up: G-Luke)
Regirock: G-Luke (runner-up: zerobreaker000)
Registeel: InvisibleWater (runner-up: zerobreaker000)
Regigigas: zerobreaker000 (runner-up: InvisibleWater)

Well discus these legendary additions to OU and how they impact the meta, ofc considering the older additions

Regirock seems like a cool bulky attacker. Since it's fairly slow and its Defense is already sky-high, I could see it making for a good Assault Vest user... Even with AV it's not totally devoid of recovery options: It has a decently powerful STAB Drain Punch for (albeit unreliable against bulkier targets) recovery, plus access to Regenerator to function as a bulky AV pivot (though that means you lose out on Rock Head, so no Head Smash unless you plan on switching a lot). Alternatively, you could go with a Rock Polish set to make use of Regirock's not-horrible Speed stat, but AV generally seems like it'll be the better option.

Regice is in a similar boat as far as being a bulky attacker goes. It won't want to use AV though since its Special Defense is already extremely high, so it'll probably be better off running a set of 3 attacks + Recover with Analytic to take advantage of its slowness. STAB BoltBeam is nice, but at the same time I'm afraid it won't be quite as useful as Regirock because its typing is still pretty bad defensively.

Registeel (thanks for voting for my submission, guys!) seems similar to Mega Aggron in that it's a Steel-type with Filter as an ability, but it features several major differences in that while it's not nearly as physically bulky as M-Aggron it has much higher special bulk, Knock Off to remove items, Volt Switch for pivoting, doesn't take up a Mega Slot, and most importantly, has reliable recovery. It seems like a great asset for stall teams thanks to its well-rounded bulk, but could also see use on bulkier offense thanks to being a great Curse abuser with Gyro Ball and some neat coverage options, like Ice Punch and Earthquake.

Regigigas is an Unaware user that has good stats. I think that's all I need to say. (SF could have potential too but Unaware is clearly the better ability here)

(Question: Is there an archive with already-approved submissions somewhere? If so, I think I'd like to read it)
