I could, but a) it's the only Chikorita I have, b) some people prefer untouched Pokemon, and c) breeding the Chikorita to make multiples would erase the Egg Moves.

I don't see the relevance of that being the only Chikorita you have. Do you mean you haven't got a 5-6 IV Ditto?

Also, all the offspring will be UT and that Chikorita would just be the permanent parent you use to breed.

Finally, it is of course a pain that the egg moves will go (especially as you have 4). That's why I'd recommend to try and get 10+ perfect offspring each time you breed it so you don't have to keep wasting heart scales getting those egg moves back onto the Pokemon. It will probably 2+ hours to get 10 perfect eggs but it is definitely worth it as it will save time and heart scales in the long run.

I'd highly recommend that you use the one you have as a parent to improve your thread and potential trades you will receive.
