Atheno, in all seriousness, I can't dig through your profile since: a) You didn't provide me a link and b) you didn't specify what kind of move discrepancy you've been messing around with. Also I took the liberty to change your team's stats from stars to actual numbers, so I'm gonna go further and threaten to take the liberty of reducing your team's HP by 5 per mon should you insist. Just saying :P

Screw you for calling “Poison Wave”, Atheno. Your Tentacool had to spend an additional energy each round reminding itself to use the correct move.

EDIT: Fixed spread moves BPA reduction instead of overall reduction.
EDIT2: Forgot that only Torterra gets a secondary Ground typing.
EDIT3: Damned, now I remembered that Turtwig is poisoned A2.

Arena:
ASB Standard Arena (I’m considering adding something else here. Hmm..)

And on the south corner, the fan in Gastro-armour sends in his Tree-Turtwig and Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl ("I wonder how the swirly-amphibian holds an Exp. Share larger than itself..."). While on the north corner, the phat sage of Athens sends out Scylla-Tentacool and Hero-Lairon! The match commenced with Tree-Turtwig and Hero-Lairon throwing up barriers while Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl and Scylla-Tentacool unleash Waves clear blue Surfs and purplish toxic Sludge! Unfortunately, Hero-Lairon’s barriers didn’t Protect his team unlike Tree-Turtwig’s Wide stance of Guard did, so Scylla-Tentacool has perhaps taken the worst beating.

Attempting to rectify this, Hero-Lairon bounds and Smashes Tree-Turtwig with its rock-iron Head, but the latter simply shakes off the blow, dislodging seeds in the process. With a sudden light going off in Tree-Turtwig’s head, the Seeds suddenly flew towards Scylla-Tentacool, hitting its hydroskeleton with the force of Bomb shrapnels! And as the round ends exactly as it begins (“Seriously, are you guys bent on trying to re-deco whole arena?”) The crowd starts to protest in face masks as the ASB Arena is swamped with stagnant waters! (“Oh great, you’ve done it, guys.”)

ASB Standard Arena (Now a swamp that gives off slightly nauseous fumes)

All of a sudden Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl suffers some nausea from the stagnant water, something that unnerves his very core as a Water-type. He tries to shake it off by firing a Hydro Pump, but it actually missed the targeted Hero-Lairon, who was lying in wait with a deadly Metal power-orb waiting to Burst. Without the damage to feed it, the orb fades, leaving Hero-Lairon both relieved and frustrated. Elsewhere, Snake-Dratini and Scylla-Tentacool duked it out with elemental beams super-effective against each other, but neither gained the upper hand - Scylla-Tentacool may be dealing more damage against Snake-Dratini's abysmal defenses, but she got paralyzed!

That didn't stop the bi-appendaged arthropod, though. Snake-Dratini and Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl decided to focus on Hero-Lairon with a Water-coated Tail and a tunnel burst from Digging, but the rock-iron ankylosaur Protected himself while his partner went in for a sneak Dive, whipping up Snake-Dratini in the process. And so it begins, so it ends again, Hydro Miss, Metal Fail, Elemental Face-off, yadda yadda ("Wow, even the reff is affected by the monotony, and it's not even the third round...")

I'll switch Lairon out for Seadra.

Counterswitch?

Also, the goat Gods must have slightly misunderstood that last one. That was to make the Hydro Pumps hit.

Alright. Time for some Ice Beaming.

Seadra: Ice Beam (Dratini) * 3
Tentacool: Ice Beam (Dratini) * 3
IF
Dratini faints, Seadra uses Dragon Pulse (Poliwhirl) and Tentacool uses Giga Drain (Poliwhirl) from then on
IF a Protective/Evasive move is used AND Dratini is the target, Seadra uses Dragon Pulse (Poliwhirl) and Tentacool uses Giga Drain (Poliwhirl)
IF Dratini uses Thunderbolt, his target uses Dive (Dratini)

And Atheno withdraws Hero-Lairon to send in Illuyanka-Seadra, this time praying to the horse gods that his simple strategy would work. Alty, however, flips off, and Snake-Dratini follows suit by Agilely dodging and weaving... Against naught?! Seeing Snake-Dratini's flight pattern, Illuyanka-Seadra swiftly target her teammate with a Pulse of Dragonbreath! Grimacing ("If he had a mouth, that is,") Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl switfly Dug underground to avoid and counter Scylla-Tentacool's attack.

And this time, Snake-Dratini uses her Extreme Speed burst to slam against Scylla-Tentacool, but it didn't stop Illuyanka-Seadra from freezing her solid! Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl compounds upon his teammate's situation by letting loose a Surf of blues, but at least he knocked Scylla-Tentacool out.. And finally Illuyanka-Seadra deals the final blow to her draconic brethren as well, with the field now in a 1-on-1, both trainers are preparing to send in the cavalry!

so your seadra says it is mild nature, but the stat changes you applied are for rash nature :o

Turtwig comes out...

Turtwig:giga drain (seadra), razor leaf+leaf storm, cool down (superpower lairon)
If seadra uses protective evasive a2, use the combo a1 and giga drain a3

Poliwhirl: mud bomb (lairon), chill, mud bomb lairon

Athenodoros

Official Smogon Know-It-All
My Seadra is just very well-natured. So well-natured that it gets two.

Seadra: Bounce (Turtwig) ~ Bounce (Turtwig) ~ Dragon Pulse (Poliwhirl)
Lairon: Head Smash (Poliwhirl) ~ Dig and Stay Under ~ Come Up (Poliwhirl)

Okay, so since Turtwig uses his combo A2, I can't recover the SpAtk drops yet until A1 next round, provided he stays in.

EDIT: Kept thinking that Seadra is already half-Dragon... Fixed.

Looks like both battlers intend to play their last cards close to heart, as they re-send out their previous withdrawn mons! Illuyanka-Seadra tries to Bounce around Tree-Turtwig's attacks, but it succeeded only once, as the latter suddenly goes all out after a missed Giga Drain to deliver some... Well, some decent damage for a combo. ("What else can you say with that Maelstrom of Razors?") Poliwhirl proceeds to roll the Mud into a ball to be Bombed at the Head Smashing Hero-Lairon, but Atheno seems to prefer a defensive play - the second attack missed because Hero-Lairon Dug underground while Frogsarecool-Poliwhirl takes his time to chill out! As the almost-fighting frog missed, Atheno's team focused Dragon Pulse and Ground Come-uppance to him! So Alty's team seems groggy, but Atheno's team is tiring fast too - who'll succumb first among the four?
