Basically, it's a narrow pathway that you can fall down if you go past the edge. Pokemon with the ability Mountaineer (Scylant! Scylant!) can climb back up the mountain.

Tail Glow > Silver Wind > Earth Power

Those are some pretty hard hitting attacks there...

Retaliate (Not the move, the action) with Power Gem, then Camouflage into the environment as a rock. Then use Power Gem again!

HOLA

I'm here with Vulcan the POWERFUL PIGNITE to refferate a battle of enormous proportions. RICKHEG versus JIGHTMARE NIGGLYPUFF atop Silver Mountain, scene of Gold's victory over Red.

NJ starts the battle off with his Staryu, Shubasbgasfbggnigglyosdf, and rickheg responds with his Syclar Liberty. As the faster pokemon, Liberty is able to strike first, or not, as her tail glows a bright yellow, somehow raising her special attack by three stages. Shurna responds with a Power Gem, handily avoided thanks to Liberty's Mountaineer ability. The now powered up Liberty is able to Silver Wind, while Staryu changes colour, blending in with its rocky surroundings, reducing its opponent's attacks' accuracies by 20 for 6 actions. Liberty responds with an Earth Power, seemingly thinking it will hit this rock super-effectively, as Staryu ends the round with another Power Gem.

Liberty used Silver Wind, dealing 12 damage for 4 energy.
Shurn used Camouflage for 6 energy, lowering Liberty's attacks' accuracies by 20. (Before Compoundeyes bonus).

Shurn used Power Gem, dealing 22.5 (rounded to 23) damage for 5 energy.

Okay, Liberty, that was a bit of a rough start, but we got this! First, hit it with Leech Life to restore some health. Then really hit it hard with another Silver Wind. Then Protect yourself from the second Power Gem.

Yello. Another round you say? On it.

rickheg's Liberty starts this round off with a Leech Life, sapping Shurn's energy and using it to replenish its own. Shurn retaliates with a Power Gem, though as expected, Syclar's Mountaineer activates, and Liberty dodges the beam of ancient energy without a problem. Slowly feeling her boosts slip away, Liberty decides to try a Silver Wind, blowing Shurn away, who responds with a Thunderbolt, launching a cracking jolt of electricity toward the bug-type. Liberty then Protects against whatever comes next from Shurn and it looks like another Power Gem, straight from the jewel, but the barrier stops it from having any effect.

Liberty used Protect for 14.5 (rounded to 15) energy.

Okay, not bad so far. We're burning through energy, but hopefully we can end this before you collapse. STAB Silver Wind is still your most powerful attack against Staryu, so start with that while you still have the boost. To conserve energy, use a Leech Life after that. Finish with another Tail Glow, you need the power. However, if a second Power Gem comes your way, use Protect.

And rickheg's Syclar Liberty starts things off with another Silver Wind, but at the last second Shurn sets up a protective shield, negating all the damage. Liberty tries another Leech Life to regain some health, sapping Shurn's HP and replenishing its own. Shurn responds with a Power Gem, though the energy beam is dodged with Mountaineer's aid easily. Liberty then tries to Tail Glow, but another incoming Power Gem forces it to Protect against the damage.

Okay Liberty, we're nearing the end of this fight, we can't let up now! But first, I want you to let Mountaineer dodge the fist Power Gem and chill. Then use Tail Glow as it Light Screens so you can still hurt it hard. Then trade blow for blow, hitting him with Silver Wind.

We are nearing the conclusion of this fine battle, and it looks like... what's this? PIGNITE is evolving! She changes shape and becomes shrouded in fire, before blasting it away with her newfound Hammer Arm. POWERFUL PIGNITE evolved into EXCELLENT EMBOAR! On with the battle however, and rickheg senses a Power Gem from Shurn. Knowing that Mountaineer will allow Liberty to dodge it, rickheg orders a Chill, regaining 12 energy while taking no damage from the incoming Power Gem. With her newfound strongth, she is able to Tail Glow again, raising her Special Attack by three stages as Shurn puts up a Light Screen to defend against special attacks. Liberty then uses a Silver Wind as Shurn uses a Power Gem, dealing massive damage.

And rickheg's Liberty uses a Silver Wind to start the round still not getting the stat boost he's going for. Shurn responds with the usual Power Gem, but Mountaineer avoids it. Déjà vu, huh. Liberty rushes towards Shurn trying to get a Leech Life in, but upon seeing the oncoming Power Gem, throws up a protective screen, negating the damage. Liberty then tries another Leech Life, only to have Shurn protect against it. Scratch what I said about them attacking each other Emboar. Give it a bloody Flare Blitz.
