Looking for my first battle.

3 vs 3 Singles
DQ: 3 days for players, 5 days for ref
2 Recovers/5 Chills
Arena: Final Destination

A flat stage, roughly 50' x 30' on top. Clinging onto the lower edges is possible, but only if the Pokemon has enhanced grabbing capabilities beyond standard arms and legs (e.g., Aipom's tail, Octillery's suction cups, Tentacool's tentacles, etc.) Occasionally (5% chance at the end of a turn), Master Hand will appear and grab one or both competitors, inflicting 10 damage and requiring the use of an action to escape from.
I accpet your challenge Dummy007!

Don't worry I am new too. However, we will have to wait to start until my Swablu is done role-playing at the dojo. (according to rules, you canot role-play a poke and fight with it at the same time, I think)

And so the match starts with Malfoy the Bagon at one end of the arena and Wooly the Swablu at the other end. Both pokemon are equally agile so there's no telling which pokemon will land the first blow. Suddenly Malfoy begins to do the Dragon Dance, the dance that invigorates him. In the middle of this dance, Wooly Growls at the top of his tiny lungs, emitting a sound not unlike a Hyper Voice. Malfoy's ears start bleeding and, even as he continues to do the Dragon Dance, he just can't feel the strength in his muscles. He does, however, feel more agile, so he decides to try and get stronger once more by lifting chunks of the arena out from below him. He looks up only to see an Ice Beam heading his way. By the time he's ready to dodge, it has already hit him in the face. Now the Bagon is mad. So mad that he's decided to pick up all the bits of arena he pulled up earlier and use them to make a Rock Slide over the Swablu. There weren't many such pieces of arena but Wooly is still somewhat in pain.

Well right now I think Wooly the Swablu has the advantage, but there might just be a way for Malfoy the Bagon to get back in the game.

It's now Dummy007's turn.

Sorry about telling you to dodge, Malfoy (and Objection). Guess we'll just have to cut Swablu's Defense with Leer and then use that ultra-powerful Rock Slide! From there, smack it in the face with Dragon Pulse.

Summary:

This time, Malfoy is taking a different approach, choosing to Leer intently at Wooly. The Swablu is now quite unnerved and slightly more susceptible to physical moves, but he can still find the energy to Sing a lullaby with the loudness of an opera singer thanks to his special Hyper Voice. This time, the Bagon finds the sound much more pleasant and decides to take a nap for the rest of the round. By the time he wakes up, he has already been hit by a second Ice Beam. No doubt Dummy007 will be incredibly annoyed by now, especially since the last of the Dragon Dance powers from before has gone. Things just aren't going well for Malfoy, but I guess that's what happens when you share your name with some asshole of a wizard.

With Malfoy being weakened, it looks like Leethoof is giving simpler orders to Wooly. But with both pokemon being equally fast, it's impossible to tell which one will have the initiative. Suddenly, Malfoy starts pulling more chunks of arena up from beneath him and uses them to make a makeshift Rock Slide over Wooly. The suddenness of this attack has scared Wooly stiff! But not for long, as he soon finds the courage to fight back with another Ice Beam. Malfoy's resolve is weakening, but he manages to summon the energy to charge into Wooly head first. He Headbutts the Swablu with all his might, almost knocking him off the edge, but soon the Bagon's ears start hurting as Wooly shrieks with another one of his Hyper Voices. Barely surviving that last hit, Malfoy retaliates with his own voice, only this one makes a Dragon Pulse that transcends mere sound waves. This would have been great against Wooly if he had evolved, but since he hasn't, it's merely an average hit.

So it looks like Malfoy the Bagon is being replaced by Harry the Larvesta. An interesting choice, but let's see how he does. Well he has the speed advantage and begins with a Flamethrower but with an Ember boosting it. The fiery attack hits Wooly, who retaliates by Singing with his Hyper Voice, but somehow the Larvesta blocks out the noise! After using their extra powerful moves, both pokemon must take a rest, but it looks like the Swablu is Chilling some more while Harry fires a beam at the sun to make this a Sunny Day. Once again, Harry opts to boost a Flamethrower attack with an Ember. In the intense sunlight, the combined attack is almost powerful enough to knock Wooly out. But, somehow, the cloud-winged beast survives and starts to Peck at Harry. That looked like it hurt. Now the fiery bug must pause for a moment to recharge his batteries. Wooly takes advantage of this time by using his Agility to fly under the platform and Roost on a rafter that I hadn't noticed earlier. Feeling confident that he can win, Wooly flies back up to his opponent only to be hit in the face by a Zen Headbutt that knocks him back several feet. It's a good thing this creature can fly.
