I can't believe this was unknown for so long, I and many others who played Pokemon Stadium 2 (see first page of thread last post) back in the day and read that...and tested it of course in Pokemon Stadium only to confirm it. It annoys me somehow that I didn't post this earlier, because I knew this like...wow, how old is Pokemon Stadium 2?
