Gen 3 Not Going to let Adv Die (anti-ubers)

Basically, I, along with a good percentage of the Netbattle regulars, am not a fan of ubers. This team was built, without ubers, to hopefully counter uber teams. It's no where near perfect, but with some help/criticism, I definitely think it has potential.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 158 HP / 252 Atk / 100 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake (Rock Slide?)
- Explosion
- Meteor Mash
- Shadow Ball

Honestly, what can stop CBGross in any tier? EVs aren't permanent. Loves them Wishes from Bliss.

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 186 Atk / 72 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Slide

See above. Loves to change the weather and I've found, save Groundon, there are very few rock resists in ubers, which is very nice. EVs are meant to take a duggy's quake I think. Love's the wishes just as much as Meta.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 148 HP / 176 Def / 48 Spd / 136 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Icy Wind
- Protect
- Toxic
- Wish

Blissey needs to be Calm, I'm thinking about taking the Defense points away altogether. Opinions?

Normally I run Rest, but every move seems useful and I've already got Blissey passes wishes.

Lanturn (F) @ Leftovers

EVs: 40 HP / 36 Spd / 192 SAtk / 240 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Rest
- Toxic
- Thunder

My Kyogre answer. Toxic works if Kyogre stays in and is even nicer when the ogre switches out.

Flygon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Def / 224 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Screech
- Substitute

My Groundon answer? Screech forces switches occasionally, but nasty Ice weak is no fun. 321 speed, beats max speed neutral nature Latis.

What's the purpose of the Speed EVs on Blissey (especially with Icy Wind)? I'd lose them and the HP EVs. HP isn't helping much. Keep Defense maxed out always. I don't think I've ever used Blissey with less than 252 Defense EVs. I'd probably do something like 252 Def / 252 SpDef with 4 wherever. If the Speed lets you beat something after 1 Icy Wind or something, then sure, keep the Speed, and drop SpDef to cover it.

Similarly, I'd lose the Speed on Metagross for more HP. Metagross isn't going to outspeed anything.

I'd use Ice Beam over Hydro Pump on Lanturn most likely.

oh yeah, I was thinking about OU speed numbers when I did some of those EVs. You're right, I definitely think Meta needs HP>Speed.

As for Lanturn, I've kind of wanted to completely replace it with Ludicolo. LS would force more switches, (still countering Kyogre) and Ludi reaches a higher sp.def. Commets?

skarm and I both used Leech Seed, Protect, Substitute, Surf / Ice Beam / Hidden Power Grass Ludicolo. I'd use one of the following EV spreads (all Calm):

252 HP / 80 SpD / 176 Spe
252 HP / 160 SpD / 96 Spe

The first beats +Speed Deoxys-A (F) in the rain, the second beats those Deoxys-A (F) without a +Speed nature. I personally like Hidden Power Grass as the attack, as that is the only way you can stop Substitute Kyogre.

has replaced Lanturn;
but it looks like my team is going to hate status. I guess Blissey is ok and Meta/Forry are immune to poison. And Ludi/Flygon can hide behind subs unless their switched in.
