This team is weak to Flying types in general, but Archeops is one of the prime ones. Archeops can easily OHKO Scyther, Magmortar, and Mantine with a STAB Stone Edge while doing heavy damage to Shiftry with STAB Acrobatics. Torterra meanwhile, can OHKO Sawk after a Close Combat with either Wood Hammer or Earthquake & can easily OHKO Rhydon after tanking a Megahorn with STAB Wood Hammer.

This team is absolutely destroyed by Barbaracle. With Shuca Berry it can setup on Rhydon, Scyther, and Mantine (who has a 30% chance to stop the sweep). From there, it outspeeds and OHKOs the entire team. Barb even gets around Shiftry's Sucker Punch with Substitute.

Since Barb is such a threat to this team, I figured that the best partner would be something that straight up aides the barb sweep with Memento. I chose Skunk because it can switch into Shiftry and Sawk's knock off, and with SR up can trap/kill Magmortar. It can get extra damage with aftermath on Scyther so that Barb doesn't have to rely on Stone Miss.

So yeah, we got a pretty standard yet effective take on bulky offense. zard, Samurott, and Sceptile make a very offensive fwg core while Hitmonchan, Rotom and Rhydon create a decently powered defensive core that pivots well into each other. -I faced this team few times on ladder,and while its really solid,it has no electric immunity and pokemon that get momentum will really hurt it.My first idea for post was Specs rotom, but I thought this core is definitely hurting this team a lot more.Lanturn resists all Zard/Mantine moves except focus blast, gives thunder wave support for team, attracts Vileplume, and all you need to click is volt switch, bring Aurorus, cut vileplume/musharna recovery with hail and deal massive damage to the team.

Mismagius outspeeds the entire team and after a nasty plot basically wins with a little prior damage. Missy also can find a lot of opportunities to setup vs either musharna, hitmonchan, or Plume. The only thing stopping the sweep is Regirock, which just needs a bit of prior damage. Thats why I am pair it with Lanturn, as Lucian said it has a good matchup versus the majority of the team, can grab momentum, and handles zard/mantine while chipping away at the other members of the team. I am opting for an offensive AV varient because I don't really need the T-Wave support.

DD rhydon is a huge threat for this team as he can set up on Musharna, Audino, and, with the help of wow rotom, he can set up on Hariyama and Steelix more easily. There is nothing that can take a +2 stab from Rhydon, or stop his set up as Steelix isn't roar. Rotom also help Rhydon to pressure Mantine to come freely. Rhydon outspeed the entire team after a Rock Polish and can kill/2HKO all of them after a Swords Dance.
