Combusken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Protect
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Ohkos both of them with respective STAB. Not a switch-in but when it gets in core dies. Can also waste some TR turns with protect stall
252+ SpA Life Orb Combusken Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Trevenant: 447-530 (119.8 - 142%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Combusken Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Aggron: 1253-1482 (365.3 - 432%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Banned deucer.

Golurk @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Punch
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt

-Golurk is a huge threat to this trick room core, since SP and EQ ohkoes both and prevents trevenant from setting up trick room. As bonus,it has pretty good matchup vs some of the setters like Musharna or carbink, while audino cant switchin safely. Choice Band can be used, but LO deals with both of these pokemon straight away.
252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Golurk Shadow Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Trevenant: 408-484 (109 - 129.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Golurk Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Aggron: 536-640 (155.8 - 186%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Aurorus @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Freeze-Dry
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power

Lead aurorus straight ohkos both these mons, and can even take out one at full if tr is up. Not real much else to say lol

Magmortar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 64 HP / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Grass / Earthquake

I'm posting AV Mag but Expert Belt or LO Mag beats this core too. In fact, LO/Ebelt Mag with Taunt has the extra bonus of being able to prevent stuff like Carbink from setting TR independent of Trevenant.

This mon breaks the core simply- Fire Blast Trevenant, Focus Blast Aggron. It is better than combusken or pyroar imo because you don't need the speed to beat TR. :D

Votin' time!!!

Archeops
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Earth Power
- Roost

Archeops OHKOs Trevenant and Aggron with Acrobatics and Earth Power respectively. With TR up there's not much that can take hits from this core so kill it before it lays eggs it sets up TR.

With all but one vote, PrinceLucian wins this week. Congratulations n_n

This week's core is another Aggron one and this time it comes from the wonderful MaroGod and his Good Cores post.

Aggron @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Heavy Slam
- Superpower
- Ice Punch

Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Trick

Or

Rotom @ Spell Tag
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball

Simple offensive core containing Breaker+Pivot in which Rotom gives some usable type synergy and utility in either trick or wisp depending on its set while also providing Volt Switch giving Aggron the safe switch-in it always wants in a partner.
Submissions end on Friday.

Steelix @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 92 HP / 252 SpA / 164 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Dark Pulse
- Stealth Rock

Not too sure about the EVs but i decided to go with Special Steelix. Steelix can switch in on Head Smash and Heavy Slam fairly easy and can OHKO Aggron with Earth Power. The best way to deal with Rotom is to switch in on a predicted Tbolt or Volt Switch so you can hit hard with Dark Pulse. Nice about lure Steelix is that Rotom likes to burn it so you can just answer with Dark Pulse.

252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Head Smash vs. 92 HP / 0 Def Steelix: 48-57 (15.2 - 18.1%) -- possible 6HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Heavy Slam (40 BP) vs. 92 HP / 0 Def Steelix: 26-31 (8.2 - 9.8%) -- possibly the worst move ever
252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Ice Punch vs. 92 HP / 0 Def Steelix: 65-77 (20.7 - 24.5%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

252 SpA Rotom Shadow Ball vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Steelix: 150-177 (47.7 - 56.3%) -- 82.8% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Rotom Hex (130 BP) vs. 92 HP / 0 SpD Steelix: 244-288 (77.7 - 91.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after burn damage

252+ SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Steelix Dark Pulse vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rotom: 234-278 (97 - 115.3%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

gimme yama

Hariyama @ Choice Band
Ability: Guts
Evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Heavy Slam
- Close Combat
- Earthquake

This is a great lure for mons like rotom or even faster mons like aggron that come in to force the switch, and rotom essentially gives you a juicy Atk boost.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Toxic

Not much to say, Gastrodon basically stops both Rotom and Aggron as it breaks momentum and doesn't take much from both mons' attacks.

Lanturn @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 136 SpD / 120 Spe
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- filler

Lanturn outspeeds and OHKOes Aggron, and 2HKOes Rotom while also blocking its Volt Switch and being bulky enough to stomach its hits, especially if it's Scarf Rotom.

This week had 2 winners so congrats to Earth and Blast for their submissions.

This week is another core from MaroGod and it is a balance core this time :o

Piloswine @ Eviolite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 220 HP / 252 Atk / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 248 HP / 156 Def / 104 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Roost
- U-turn
- Defog

Probably my favorite balance core to use in NU Piloswine provides some nice role compression with its access to Stealth Rock,Electric Immunity and Ice Shard (the best move ever) and creates an interesting core alongside Pelipper thanks to Pelipper's access to recovery + being able to pivot with U-Turn

rotom is mine :3

Rotom @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt

Pretty standard rotom set, it's able to bop peli ez pz and can cripple the pilo with will-o then proceed to spam hex.
252 SpA Rotom Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Piloswine: 172-204 (42.5 - 50.4%) -- 94.5% chance to 2HKO after burn damage
252 SpA Rotom Volt Switch vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Pelipper: 492-580 (152.3 - 179.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Adamant Nature
- Heavy Slam

Aggron outspeeds both of these mons and OHKOs them both. It doesn't appreciate Scald or EQ but it should never have to take either.

252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Piloswine: 462-546 (114.3 - 135.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 156+ Def Pelipper: 560-662 (173.3 - 204.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
