Industrial Justice (me)
[QB] Tannehill, Crapernick [RB] Miller, Stewart, Vereen, Sproles
[WR] A.Brown, Evans, Maclin, T.Williams, Randle [TE] Cameron, Davis [DST] Parkey, EAGLES
One of the most complete teams in da lee, I have few complaints on the team I hit on. Tannehill is an average QB with the potential to take the next step up. The combination of Miller + Stewart are perhaps slightly below average but solid enough and fairly reliable, being already-proven and lacking competition in their teams' respective backfields. JStew could even be elite with the Carolina backfield finally to himself. My embarrassment of riches at WR is what should really carry me though. Cameron is a boom-or-bust TE, he could put up elite numbers or get injured and put me on stream like half the league. And while K/DEF are mostly a crapshoot, it's worth mentioning Parkey was the #2 K last year and the Eagles might have the best upside for non-streaming defenses, being last year's #3 and yet adding Kiko Alonso to further improve.

Adrian Beat Her Son (
Texas Cloverleaf)
[QB] E.Manning, Bradford [RB] Gore, Spiller, Bernard, Blount, Sankey
[WR] J.Jones, Cobb, Edelman, Wheaton, Coleman [TE] Bennett [DST] Bryant, PANTHERS
Probably my biggest competition, Texas followed the same formula to hopeful success that I did: godlike WR corps and a slightly below-average but serviceable everything else. I just think my non-WRs are slightly better. Bennett's more of a sure bet at TE but Eli is a bottom-of-the-barrel QB1, Gore's ceiling is pretty low because he's 90 years old and Spiller is a huge question mark having to share with Ingram.

Kd24 Drafts First (
kd24 actually drafted 11th)
[QB] Brady, Palmer [RB] Forte, Morris, Foster, Mathews, McFadden
[WR] Beckham Jr., Allen, White, Cruz, Crabtree [TE] Graham [DST] Sturgis, PACKERS
The best of the rest, KINGLERDUDETWENTYFOUR may well have the highest ceiling of any team and his depth is unmatched. A late-round Brady pickup in the draft, since we drafted last Saturday before the news, also proved to be a boon. Forte and Morris are a reliable RB duo and while Mathews isn't likely to boom behind Murray in Philly, he's at least a decent bye week filler. But if Foster comes back strong later this season or DMac takes command of the Dallas backfield, this team could become a juggernaut. What hurts his ranking is a below-average WR3 slot, but again excellent depth as both White and Cruz are reliable scorers (if they stay healthy). Graham is also the best TE not named Gronk... but he still isn't Gronk.

Big Ass TDs (
Huy)
[QB] Brees, lol0tdsalexsmiff [RB] Hill, Gordon, Cobb
[WR] Thomas, Cooper, Robinson, Colston, LaFell [TE] Thomas, Allen [DST] Crosby, SEAHAWKS, LIONS
If all goes well, Huy could end up at the top but there's more uncertainty here. His WR crops has the potential to be elite but who knows how Cooper performs and can Robinson stay healthy, active and can the Jags offense step up to allow him to produce? Huy also nabbed Gordon, so he's all in on rookies here. If they do perform, he has an edge on the other top teams with the best QB of the bunch. He also picked up the Seahawks D, which is the most reliable choice for a non-streaming defense.

Duston MoP (
Aeroblacktyl)
[QB] Romo, Rivers [RB] Forsett, Ingram, Jennings, Crowell
[WR] D.Bryant, Adams, Landry, Funchess [TE] Walker, Daniels [DST] Bullock, DOLPHINS, CHIEFS
MoP has an all-around solid roster but he has the biggest question mark at RB thus far. Forsett is a bottom-tier RB1 with a low ceiling and while I trust Ingram based on what he did last year, Spiller could easily cut into his production. His team is pretty similar to mine and Texas, having the best WR3 and the worst QB since (not saying Romo/Rivers are bad, just Brees and Brady are better), I just think his pieces are incrementally worse.

Like a Kevin Boss (
makiri)
[QB] P.Manning, Bridgewater [RB] Peterson, Abdullah, Coleman
[WR] Jeffery, Matthews, Wallace, Parker, M.Jones [TE] Witten, Green [DST] Vinatieri, RAMS, NINERS
Might be better than MoP on the surface, similar team to Huy with strength at QB and a rookie RB2. Peterson's arguably the #1 overall pick. Abdullah is quite a bit more questionable, though, as he has both Gordon's and Ingram's downsides. Will he perform as a rookie and WTF Detroit's backfield situation? This team has terrible depth as well, so starters need to perform and not get injured.

Sweet Cuppin' Cakes (
Dubulous)
[QB] Luck, Cutler [RB] Lacy, Ellington, J.Bell, Starks, Jones
[WR] Cooks, Watkins, Fitz, T.Smith, Mi.Floyd [TE] Kelce [DST] Bailey, TEXANS
Entering the lower half of the league is when I start seeing more questionable starting rosters; these teams have clear weaknesses. Here it's WR corps, which are all low-end for their slot although depth is decent. Lacy and Ellington are a strong RB pair but the real question is can Luck carry this team, being a cut above all other QBs not named Rodgers? The upside is that all three of Cooks, Watkins and Kelce have big-time potential. This team could surprise like kd24's team. Texans were also #1 fantasy defense last year.

Two Steaks Bastards (
moot)
[QB] Newton, Flacco [RB] Anderson, D.Murray, Bush, Johnson Jr.
[WR] Sanders, A.Johnson, V.Jackson, Garcon, Baldwin [TE] Eifert, Watson [DST] Gostkowski, PATRIOTS
Looks a lot like the above team, unfortunately he's scraping the bottom of the QB1 barrel instead of rolling with Luck. WRs aren't fantastic either, as Sanders could be overrated and AJ85 (he's wearing 81 now) could be revitalized or have nothing left in the tank who knows. That said, Anderson and Murray could be the best backfield duo in this league and depth is excellent, as Bush will prove to be reliable at worst and possibly more while the trio of WR3 candidates are all proven. For whatever kickers are worth, Gostkowski is consistently amongst the best.

Punts With A C (
BiGGiE)
[QB] Rodgers, Mariota [RB] Lynch, Hyde, Yeldon, D.Johnson
[WR] Hopkins, Tate, Agholor, C.Johnson, Stills [TE] Ertz, Donnell [DST] Prater, CARDINALS
This is a more faithful recreation of said team two previous, with Rodgers instead of Luck. Lynch/Hyde will probably be marginally worse than Lacy/Ellington, however, and TE is a complete throwaway. Yeldon as RB3 is pretty sweet but the gains are undone by the WR depth.

Shady's Party (
Stallion)
[QB] Roflsberger, Taylor [RB] Charles, L.Murray, Gurley, Martin, Mason
[WR] Green, Decker, J.Brown, Quick [TE] Olsen, Seferian-Jenkins [DST] Walsh, RAVENS
Teams 9-11 are all pretty similar in my eyes, but I think the differences in RB and WR corps are pretty marginal and so they're ranked as such mostly based on the strength of their QBs. Charles/L.Murray are very slightly better than Lynch/Hyde (and both have a big-potential depth rookie) plus Olsen's actually a decent TE, but Rodgers is definitively better than Big Ben and Decker as a WR2 is gross.

JJ Dewott (
WaterBomb)
[QB] Ryan, Stafford [RB] L.Bell, McCoy, Woodhead, Davis
[WR] Hilton, D.Jackson, Boldin, M.Bryant, Wright [TE] Rudolph, Gates [DST] Tucker, JETS
Again, a very slight upgrade at starting RB albeit with a worse bench here, but Ryan is the worst starting QB amongst the past three teams. The ceiling may be highest here, however, as both Ryan/Stafford have potential for greater numbers this year, the WR corps are slightly better, and Antonio Gates could prove to be a sneaky good TE grab. He's suspended until Week 5 and older than Frank Gore but somehow he still managed to be the #2 fantasy TE last year, so who's to say he can't keep doing it once he gets back?
#12
The American Dreams (
theamericandream38)
[QB] Wilson, Winston [RB] Randle, Ivory, Freeman, Sims
[WR] C.Johnson, Marshall, Smith Sr., Royal, S.Johnson [TE] Gronk, Reed [DST] Haushka, BUFFALO
And here's tad at the bottom. I think his team is unquestionably the worst, but it's not so horrible that good management and maybe one lucky break couldn't put him in the driver's seat. Wilson is one of the better QBs, WR corps has average starters with good depth. The only question is, is Gronk so awesome as to carry these hideous RBs? At present, tad's RB1 is worse than the RB2 on most of our teams and Randle is a big question mark at that. Buffalo was the #2 D last year but losing Alonso certainly doesn't help them.
