Here's some future core suggestions as well:

+

This is a really nice Balance core that features two relatively underutilized Pokemon. Tyranitar is cool as a check to the top Megas in the format (Rayquaza and Gengar) while being able to check lots of other stuff as well. Celesteela pairs nicely by providing a Ground immunity, Fairy resistance and secondary check to setup Arceus forms. Both can accumulate a lot of chip damage with Leech Seed and Sand Stream, which can be taken advantage of in a lot of ways.

Grassceus is another very underused pick in AG that excels in a multitude of roles. It can function as an effective lead or wallbreaker thanks to its variable coverage, while an uncommon defensive typing lets it also function as a check to threats such as Zygarde and Kyogre. I know cores for AG are typically 2 Pokemon but not pairing it with anything leaves a lot more room for interesting teambuilds while still being challenging due to Grassceus's lackluster matchup against certain threats.

WITHOUT

Tapu Lele is the face of the incredibly threatening archetype of Psyspam, but if you take away all the powerful sweepers it usually acts as support for you're left with a fairly interesting Pokemon. Tapu Lele can wear down even the sturdiest of checks with Nature's Madness, or function as an effective revenge killer with Choice Scarf thanks to a priority immunity. Again this is only one Pokemon, but forcing teambuilders to use a fairly familiar Pokemon in different ways would definitely make for an interesting challenge. I'm not sure how this would be implemented but at the very least Deoxys and Mewtwo would have to be disallowed, banning other Psychics like Lunala, Psychiceus and Solgaleo might be good options as well.

Sticky Webs setup spam. This team is really simple to use, set hazards with Smeargle and Landorus-T and use Nuzzle, Taunt and Explosion to prevent hazards from being removed. Once hazards are up just go wild with some of the most threatening sweepers in the meta.
