daspoofy malinowski takes it this week!

k since this project it slowly starting to die i figured spicing things up a bit would help

This round any mon under 1.5% usage on this list http://www.smogon.com/stats/2015-12/uu-1630.txt and on the vr are fair game
the set cant be on the dex like any other round

Hopefully this goes well for giving this a bit of a boost in postings, submissions end Saturday, the 30th at 8pm EST

It is kind of hard to come up with "innovation" when the analysis already covers all the usable other options *looking at venomoth analysis* Anyways.

Moltres @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 72 HP / 4 Def / 244 SpA / 188 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
- Agility
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Hurricane
- Fire Blast

So, the power of a modest moltres is absolutely ridiculous

244+ SpA Life Orb Moltres Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Aerodactyl: 129-152 (42.8 - 50.4%) -- 1.6% chance to 2HKO

Combine that with agility and this becomes one hell of a late game cleaner. HP Grass + Hurricane + Fire Blast gives this mon really good neutral coverage and stuff. Agility gives it an interesting niche over other fire types and virtue of its typing, it can set up fairly easily against mons like cobalion (without stone edge ofc), choiced hera looked in megahorn, nasty plot lucario, cleric variants of florges and forced against common grass types.

The major fault is that the bird is blind but this set is pretty fun! EV spread is to outspeed jolly mega pert and at +2 to basically outspeed the entire relevant meta but the main benchmark is jolly mega pert.

Rock Polish 3 Attacks Diance

Diancie @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature (+ SpA; - Def)
- Rock Polish
- Moonblast
- Diamond Storm
- Earth Power

General idea: Here we have another bulky set-up sweeper which has to run Rock Polish + 252 Spe EVs to become enough fast before and after the set-up. Follows the classic coverage consisting of the dual STABs with Moonblast and Diamond Storm which rectifies the Def hindering nature; Earth Power grants more coverage.
The item I choose is Life Orb to use at best its nice 100/100 offences.
I think that this set can be quite effective due to Diancie's bulk which enables it to set-up in the first turn and then dish out some damage.

EVs spread: max Spe + max EVs (reaching 199 Spe) to be as fast as possible after a Rock Polish. Max SpA because Moonblast and Earth Power are both special moves, thus avoiding burn's detrimental effect to halve the Atk.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Scald
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex

You thought this wouldn't be a thing. Trick Room Jellicent is a boon to teams that use Toxic Spikes, since Hex is a 130 BP Move with no downside if they're status'd. Of course, it also does well against other waters, since they can rarely touch it, and spamming a STAB 130 BP Move with a way to spread status alongside it means that it can have some fun against a lot of the more offensive teams in the meta. Under Trick Room, Jellicent manages to reach an impressive 112 speed, meaning that it outslows most of the meta, and renders them crippled with a Burn, making it a useful asset to a few TR teams.

nameless90 that's not a speed boosting nature, but Mild's perfect because it outspeeds Crobat at +2 (you really only need 248 EVs to do that but the extra point isn't hurting much). As for my entry...

Neglected Nurse (Offensive Utility Jynx)

Jynx @ Leftovers
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SDef / 252 Spe
(IVs: 0 Atk)
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Lovely Kiss
- Heal Bell

Ah Jynx, the most controversial Pokemon and also one of the most underrated. Sure, its typing is defensively equivalent to wet paper, but its dual STAB combo is fantastic, sans most Steel-types. Jynx utilizes its good SpA and respectable speed to threaten other offensive 'Mons with a STAB Ice Beam or Psychic. Psychic hits most things harder than Psyshock, even Tentacruel. Lovely Kiss eliminates a threat on the opposing team, at least temporarily and at best permanently. Lovely Kiss also almost guarantees a switch, or a free turn to use Heal Bell and remove pesky status, particularly burns and paralysis on an offensive team, from everyone. If Heal Bell isn't needed, fire off a STAB attack or double switch.

Nasty Plot isn't mentioned because while Jynx is far from slow, it is outsped by many threats that can easily KO it, and any priority attack not named Aqua Jet can ruin Jynx because of its sad physical bulk that's even worse than Metapod...yeah Jynx should just stick to healing its teammates on free turns.

Dry Skin is incredibly useful for absorbing Scalds and healing Jynx, helping it carve its niche. Max Speed Timid allows Jynx to speed tie Darmanitan and Arcanine, giving it a chance to finish them off with Psychic 1-on-1 in a dire situation. This means Jynx also beats all Roserade and remains unscathed almost always. Life Orb gets a mention for more firepower, but Jynx doesn't gain any more notable OHKOs from it and still does insignificant damage to dedicated walls. 0 Atk IVs make sure Jynx survives STAB Foul Play handily and dodges 2HKOs from non-STAB Foul Play 99.6% of the time.

EDIT: Not gonna post specific calcs, but do realize that basically any offensive 'Mon weak to either of Jynx' STABs is at worst 2HKO'ed. Even specially defensive Roserade risks being OHKO'ed by Psychic and Tentacruel is handily 2HKO'ed. Defensively, Leftovers really helps its usable special bulk, guaranteeing Jynx will survive 2 Moonblasts from Florges.

Defensive Toxic Spike Setter

Cofagrigus @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Toxic Spikes

Cofagrigus is a cool fit on certain bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate a spinblocker and something to spread status. With a Colbur Berry and hefty SpD investment, Cofag becomes one of the best spinblockers in UU and can check a good portion of the tier, including threats such as Toxicroak, Heracross, Feraligatr, Gyarados and more. Hex works really well with the combination of Wisp and T-Spikes and is a relatively consistent STAB move to have. This Cofag set pairs really well with strong wallbreakers like Hydreigon, Entei and Emboar to counteract its passiveness and pressure teams with the combination strong moves and poison.

Hey Everyone! LittleRunnerXC here bringing you a underused mon, and a very cool one at that. This set is a very cool set on this mon, and it is actually VERY effective, and can really punch holes in the opposing team. I am talking about Choice Band Rhyperior.

Rhyperior @ Choice Band
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
- Rock Blast

Okay, this set is criminally underused, and hits like a frikkin truck. Its crazy. Whenever people see a Rypherior on the field, it is usually the standard defensive rocks set, with rocks, roar, eq, and stone edge. Rypherior is also used as a great bulky defensive rocker, that can wall threats like Entei. However, CB set is a great lure, as it can bring in offensive mons that predict Rhyperior to set up rocks, or maybe send a toxic. But, this guy is amazing. CB Rhyperior has base 140 Attack, with max attack and a Choice Band. It also has the infamous EdgeQuake combination, STAB EdgeQuake combination. Megahorn also can lure in bulky grass types, and hit mons that might want to switchin in predicting an eq like Hydreigon, Tangrowth, Cresselia, and Chesnaught. The last move is just filler, but Rock Blast is here to break sash's. Overall, this guy is a great wallbreaker, and can really punch holes when brought in safely through u-turn or volt-switch, or after a mon dies. CB Rhy also loves speed control, in the form of paralysis or Sticky Webs. Galvantula also works very well with CB Rhyperior as it can take care of water and grass types. Smogon set says only 168 speed to outspeed uninvested base 60's, but since Empoleon always runs 44-52 speed, I decide to make Rhy max speed.

I just wanted to show some calc of the raw power of this thing. Now, many people always tell me "But Rhyperior isnt a reliable switchin because of Entei!" Oh really. This is my favorite calc to show people the raw power of this thing, and that it can switch in on a Entei.

252+ Atk Choice Band burned Rhyperior Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Entei: 325-384 (87.6 - 103.5%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

Now just some other calcs.
252+ Atk Choice Band Rhyperior Earthquake vs. 232 HP / 252+ Def Alomomola: 237-279 (44.8 - 52.7%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Rhyperior Earthquake vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Swampert: 220-259 (54.8 - 64.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Rhyperior Megahorn vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Bronzong: 199-235 (58.8 - 69.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Rhyperior Megahorn vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Tangrowth: 282-332 (69.9 - 82.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
There are many more calcs to show the raw power.

BELLY DRUM POLIWRATH

Poliwrath @ Life Orb / Sitrus Berry / Lum Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Waterfall

- Brick Break
- Double-Edge / Return / Hypnosis / Rain Dance

Alright so y'all thought that the god was down for the count... millions of times I tried to find a unique and original set and whatnot. Anyway, someone's probably done this before, it's too gimmicky and cool to not have been used before, I'm sure. Still, It's not on the analysis, so I don't really care that much.

Alright so anyway, this is Belly Drum Poliwrath, the one and only. Obviously, it's meant to be used on Rain Teams, but I mean, you can run it with Rain Dance on its own, it just probably just won't be as effective. So, Belly Drum is pretty self-explanatory, maxes your attack out and allows you to 3HKO or even 2HKO many major threats. Brick Break even 2HKOs Suicune, which is pretty impressive for a Pokemon at +6, believe me. Anyway, it's essentially required to run both STAB moves just to get a lot of damage on things. The last move is up to you, but a strong Normal-type move can hit Dragon-types for neutral damage, among others. I personally would use Hypnosis, though, because when it hits it can give you quite a few opportunities to hit would-be checks a few more times. Hypnosis also makes this set even more bootleg, I highly recommend it.

Also, these calcs are pretty cool, and prove that, surprisingly, +6 Poliwrath can actually 2HKO or OHKO a number of defensive threats. Not bad at all for a frog.
+6 252 Atk Poliwrath Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Suicune: 258-304 (63.8 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 252 Atk Poliwrath Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Florges: 385-454 (106.9 - 126.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+5 252 Atk Poliwrath Double-Edge vs. 248 HP / 236+ Def Salamence: 310-365 (78.8 - 92.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 252 Atk Poliwrath Brick Break vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Tangrowth: 244-288 (60.5 - 71.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+6 252 Atk Poliwrath Brick Break vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Creative Sets Thread: 420-690 (500%-600%) -- Guaranteed to win if you vote for this set
+6 252 Atk Poliwrath Brick Break vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Chesnaught: 247-292 (65 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

(no you cant trap this but staying in to chew the hit isnt an uncommon thing for doub to do)

252 SpA Choice Specs Dugtrio Sludge Wave vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Whimsicott: 432-512 (133.7 - 158.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dugtrio Hidden Power Flying vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Chesnaught: 276-328 (72.6 - 86.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Dugtrio Hidden Power Grass vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Swampert: 240-284 (59.8 - 70.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

As well as memento support meaning this mon also pairs very well with set up sweepers, most notably slurpuff as it enjoy these fat physically bulky steels being weakened
