Gen 3 OU Netbattle Team...what fun...

After playing aroung in UUs for awhile, I've decided to play in OUs again. I'm a bit rusty, but ah well. Rate or flame or do whatever you have to do. Besides my nicknames being made of epic fail, go ahead and rate.

Raikou @ Leftovers ** Wrathkou
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Crunch
- Hidden Power [Grass / Ice]
- Thunderbolt

Yeah, it isn't standard. Crunch (OMG) comes in handy more than I thought it would.

-LEAD-
Salamence (F) @ Choice Band ** Monstermence
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flamethrower
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide

CBmence. Perhaps it should lead? Still, when it did, the Mence counters were starting to bug me...EDIT: It's gonna lead...

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** Swampstar
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Hydro Pump
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Don't ask. The EVs are a bit random...I don't know, maybe some help here?

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 HP / 56 Def / 16 Spd / 148 SAtk / 48 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch
- Psychic
- Wish

Wish support and special tank.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers ** Ironwing
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Skarm.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Blisspuff
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Ice Beam

What a shocker, it's blissey. How much speed is needed to outspeed boah? I'm only familiar with Boah's moveset, as I've never used it.

I haven't played OUs in a long time, so I could probably use some help.

*annoyed at skarmbliss*

Other than that, swampert counters raikou salamence and jirachi, so maybe use HP grass on raikou instead. It's not as if you have huge problems with salamence/flygon or grasses, so HP ice seems a big unnecessary.

Whether you want to deal with spikes is up to you I guess.

Trust me, I'm not any happier I'm using skarmbliss lol

HP ice is actually for Mence leads, which it outspeeds. But hmm, HP Grass sounds like a viable option. Max speed raikou outspeeds adamant dugtrio, actually by a lot, and I see that switch-in a lot. Since HP Grass takes care of that...I might as well use it.

Should I lead with Mence now, since the point of raikou as the lead was to destroy mence?

About spikes, There kinda wasn't room for a spinner, sadly. A couple of my pokemon resist it, and Jirachi gives me wish support...I guess that's enough?

But thank you.

Don't lead with this. Consider HP Grass over Ice.

Salamence (F) @ Choice Band ** Monstermence
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide

Adamant, Fire Blast over Brick Break, and make it your lead.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** Swampstar
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 156 Def / 96 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Cursepert is rather obsolete. Hydro Pump or Surf over Curse. Roar/Protect can go over Rest, as it's getting wishes already.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 HP / 56 Def / 16 Spd / 148 SAtk / 48 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Fire Punch
- Psychic
- Wish

Drop some SDef and SAtk EVs for more Def.

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers ** Ironwing
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Usually 192-216 Def EVs is enough, but whatever works.

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Blisspuff
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

I like giving TWave Bliss some speed to outspeed Boah before the sub.

I haven't played OUs in a long time, so I could probably use some help.
A spinner is always nice, but if you don't want one, Hydro pump on Swampert and Fire blast on Mence will can damage the usual spikers. Consider Forretress over Skarmory, and Roar on Swampert if you still need a phazer. You have a slight Boah or VILtar weak, but as long as you keep Pert health it should be manageable. I also don't really see the point of TWave on Bliss, since you don't have much which can capitalize on paralysis.

Well, okay. I edited out the first post...Brick break was for snorlax and blissey, since, if I weakened them enough, I could pull off a OHKO. Sorry for sounding like a n00b, but what is VILtar? Okay, thanks. there are a few questions in my edit, most relating to EVs. And thanks.

EDIT: I just relized that changing jolly to adamant on Mence gives HP flying good enough power...so never mind that.

I think that VILtar is Subpunching TTar with HP Bug and Rockslide. I also think that you should put Thunder or Thunderbolt over Fire Punch on Jirachi. Thunder will almost always paralyze. Touched is right about the moveset for Swampet, but i dont like its EV spread. Try this one: 108 HP/ 56 Atk/ 228 Def/ 96 SpAtk/ 16 SpDef.

Edit: You might as well take those SpDef Evs and put them into something else.

Eh. Fire Punch comes in handy so much. I'll test out thunder and Tbolt and decide for myself I guess. But I put in the new EVs for swampert. Thanks for all the help.

So, any glaring weaks?

Truth be told, I'd just worry about having Dugtrio picking off around 3 of your Pokes, not that you can't do anything about that, but yeah.......

EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk was standard Swampert spread, though you can redistribute the defense if you want. 252 HP is great for boosting both defense and SDef, and i'm not sure how much it matters, but 120 SAtk brings you to 236 to OHKO CBmence.
