Palette Pals [Now Playable! See Post #54]

quick VoltTurn core I thought of a bit ago (thanks Mygavolt for the format):

Mienfoo @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Drain Punch
- Taunt
- U-turn
(set needs some work, this is more or less a proof of concept)

This might seem a bit silly at first - why Mienfoo? The main reason is that Mienfoo is one of the few Pokémon to have the coveted combination of Regenerator and a pivot move, and it just so happens that Jirachi, which is considered the same color as it, can pass along stats decently suited to the role of Regenerator pivot and can form a VoltTurn core with it. While Jirachi doesn't get that much out of pairing with Mienfoo from a type synergy perspective, Mienfoo does cover Jirachi's weakness to Dark quite nicely and in return Jirachi resists all three of Mienfoo's weaknesses. Aside from the normal benefits your team would get from a VoltTurn core, Mienfoo can also remove items with Knock Off (particularly Choice Scarves if your Jirachi is Scarfed) and shut down certain defensive threats with Taunt. Mienfoo can also run an offensive set with High Jump Kick should it so want, but that might be done better by something along the lines of Mienshao inheriting from Aerodactyl (mostly for that sweet speed tier as you'll be hitting absurdly hard anyway) or Hitmonlee from Landorus-Therian.

Alternative donor:
(120/70/120/75/130/85) You lose the VoltTurn core and any sort of offensive presence you had previously, but a Regenerator pivot as absurdly bulky as Cresselia (not to mention with a better typing) does seem rather alluring.
