You were supposed to PM me 3 -.- I suppose you're limited to Duskull now.

EVERYBODY KNOWS TURN ORDER.

JBCWK starts with Pokemon, but not actions.

Wait, WHAT?! I was supposed to PM 3?! IT'S A 1V1 FOR GOD'S SAKE! I don't even recall that being specified... Oh, whatever. Fine, like I was going to win anyway...

Mia, let's do this! Start off with Imprison, to prevent him using Protect, then use Toxic. Finish up with a quick Shadow Sneak. However, if he uses Bite or Crunch on his second or third action, replace that action with Protect.

Imprison >>> Toxic/Protect >>> Shadow Sneak/Protect

OK then, Apollo, start this off with a Crunch, then Flare Blitz to force him to Protect! Finally, get in some powerful damage with Overheat!

Crunch > Flare Blitz > Overheat

Round One Start!

Welcome to Pallet Town, where a 10-year-old child gets pushed out into the rest of the Pokemon world with nothing but a weak Pokemon and a backpack! Pokemon is so glorious, eh?

Apollo, eager to get the fight started, sinks his sharp fangs into Duskull. The attack doesn't seem to do much, but when Apollo draws back, it's evident that the darkness has dealt significant damage. Mia simply responds by linking their moves together, erasing the duplicated ones; it didn't seem to have much effect.

Next, Apollo rushes a Mia, glowing with brilliant fire. In a fiery blitz, Apollo tackles the floating Duskull with reckless abandon, hitting for pretty heavy damage. However, Apollo takes some recoil as Mia releases deadly neurotoxins into Apollo's system, causing him to become badly poisoned. Ouch.

Seeing that Apollo is about to unleash an attack, Mia stretches her shadow all the way to Apollo, enters it, and pops out the other end, attacking Apollo for a small amount of damage. Apollo continues his deadly assault with a special attack, letting loose all the firepower he has in reserve. This overheat also deals a significant amount of damage to Mia, who isn't looking so great anymore.

Round One End.

JBCWK, you're up.

Let's see if we can quickly wrap this up!

Flare Blitz, Flare Blitz, Flare Blitz. He can't counter all 3 at once.

... Shit. That was quick. Ok, Mia, SPAM PAIN SPLIT! We are NOT done yet! We will not go quietly into the night! If at any point you end up with more HP than Growlithe, replace Pain Split with Shadow Ball.

Pain Split >>> Pain Split/Shadow Ball >>> Pain Split/Shadow Ball.

Round Two Start!

Welcome back to Pallet Town, where things have changed a lot since we last covered this area. Instead of having two fresh Pokemon, we now have one that looks like it's about to die, and another one who is slowly dying due to poison. Regardless, it's shaping out to be a fun match; let's see what happens!

Apollo lights himself on fire and runs as fast as he can towards Mia. At about a distance of three feet, Apollo jumps up and tackles Mia with all his fiery might, dealing significant damage. Mia takes significant damage, but counters by balancing the auras of vitality, healing herself and dealing significant damage to Apollo. Apollo's lead has all gone away now; in fact, Mia is holding the lead right now with the poison damage! What an interesting development.

This happens two more times TT.TT

Round Two End.

Shadoo.

Woo-hoo, we're in the lead! By 1 HP. A lead is a lead! Unfortunately, we're going to need to be cheap/lucky as hell now.

Start with Confuse Ray, then Protect, and finally Shadow Sneak. However, if Apollo hits himself in confusion during round two or 3, replace that action with Shadow Ball.

Confuse Ray >>> Protect/Shadow Ball if Apollo hurts himself in confusion >>> Shadow Sneak/Shadow Ball if Apollo hurts himself in confusion this round.

Crunch as he uses Confuse Ray, then as he protects Flare Blitz. Finally, finish him off with another Flare Blitz!

Round Three: Is this the End?

Apollo rushes forward for another physical attack, sinking fangs of darkness into Mia's shadowy flesh. As Apollo backs away after the attack, wisps of purple and black fly off from Mia's body. It seems that Apollo hit a weak spot, dealing more damage than expected! Mia responds with a ray of strange light that manages to confuse Apollo! Apollo attempts to rush forward with another attack, but he hits himself in confusion! Mia adds more pain with a Shadow Ball, dealing significant damage. Now that both of our combatants are in single-digit HPs, who will win?

Mia attacks with a swift Shadow Sneak, KOing Apollo before he can react!

End.

Game Over! Son_of_Shadoo wins!

Each trainer gets 2 TC, each Pokemon gets 1 EC, 1 MC, and 1 DC.
Mia gets 1 KO Counter.
I get 1 RC.

Great game; the usage of Pain Split was quite interesting.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!! Holy crap, my first genuine win! MIA! YOU'RE A BRO FOR LIFE! Wow, I'm tingling. Heh.

GG, JBCWK, I honestly didn't expect to win this one, and you put up a great fight! I definitely think it was Pain Split and Toxic that saved the day for me. Engineer Pikachu, thanks for reffing.
