Today, penguin344 offered up a challenge, and the man who is taking him on is none other than MrcRanger97. penguin decided upon the Deserted Ruins as his Stadium, and both combatants, aware of the permanent sandstorm, chose a sand-resistant Pokemon.

Rules:
Stage: Deserted Ruins
Deserted Ruins
The remnants of some ancient desert dwelling society. In the center of the ruins, there is an altar. Spiritual waves can be felt emanating from this altar, and will boost the BAP of all Psychic and Dragon type moves by 2. A sandstorm is raging, and cannot be stopped. The only other weather effect that can ever come into play is sun, and if sun is summoned, the sandstorm rages simultaneously with the sun. There are 4 pillars surrounding the altar which cannot fall. The pillars are arranged in the shape of a square, with the altar in the center of the square. There are cacti around the altar, moderately far apart. There is no water in the arena, other than what can be found in the cacti. Drinking the juice from a cactus will restore 10 energy and 5 health, but touching the exterior of the cactus will deal damage equivalent to that of a typeless Pin Missile attack if direct contact is made.

TL;DR
BAP of Dragon and Psychic moves goes up 2.
Eternal Sandstorm; Sun can be summoned over top the sandstorm, and they will run concurrently.
No water.
Seismic Activity and Digging are allowed.
Plenty of Rocks.
No plants other than cacti; contact with cacti deals a typeless Pin Missile attack (complete with multiple hits) to the Pokemon making contact; cactus juice can be drank to recover 10 energy and 5 health.

As the battle begins, both trainers eyeball each other through the goggles they were given due to the natural, never-ending sandstorm. When the referee calls for them to send out their Pokemon, both battlers struggle to pull their Poke Balls out with the strong winds holding their arms back. During a short break in the sandstorm, penguin344 sends out a Poke Ball containing the Rock Head Pokemon, a Larvitar nicknamed Dust Devil, and MrcRanger97 sends out a Dusk Ball containing a Nohface, which he nicknamed Sirius. While both trainers recoil their hands back under their cloaks, the Pokemon simply stay put due to their resistance to sand.

As the referee gives the signal to begin, Dust Devil digs and burrows through the soft, shifting sands. Sirius, possibly having overslept earlier, let out a huge yawn, but Dust Devil was able to dodge it due to being underground.

After several seconds, Dust Devil dug his way to directly under Sirius to burst out and hit him hard. In retaliation, Sirius's tail began to glow white, and she jumped over towards Dust Devil and tried to mash him with the power of a meteor. She hits Dust Devil and sends him flying, and thankfully he was able to stop just short of a cactus.

Finally, Dust Devil goes in to try to break Sirius like a brick, but Sirius becomes intangible just before it strikes and then digs her way underground and then strikes Dust Devil with a stealth strike.

The sandstorm soon started to pick back up just after the Pokemon quit attacking each other, and both trainers were told to issue actions, beginning with penguin344 and then MrcRanger97 may issue his actions.

Dragon Dance, Pursuit, Dragon Dance
If he uses yawn, then use dig and do not surface until he stops using yawn.

At the dawn of the second round, but trainers give their commands and the Pokemon get started. Dust Devil begins dancing in a draconic manner, becoming both faster and stronger, while Sirius sits there in a defensive position looking as strong as iron.

Dust Devil then begins to pursue Sirius who, after taking a small hit back, fights back with a powerful Meteor Mash launching Dust Devil into one of the cacti. As it turns out, it was actually a Cacnea who shot pins at Dust Devil, hurting him for little damage due to his resistance.

Dust Devil decided to do his dance once again, which increased its effects on him even more. Sirius decided to make him see stars by using another Meteor Mash, and launched him 30 yards into the desert and back right next to the cacti from earlier.

MrcRanger97, your turn to choose actions, followed by penguin344, then I will referee the round.

(If you're wondering why Dust Devil has +2 and Sirius only has +1, it's because +1, +1 boosts last for an extra round, and +2 degrade one boost each round)

Nearing the close of the match, Dust Devil tries to dodge out of the way of Sirius sneaking though the shadows. He succeeds in dodging at and pursues Sirius for a powerful strike into a cactus. After hitting it, Sirius faints, and once Dust Devil comes to check upon him, attacks for a fatal blow, finishing him off. Both trainers shake hands for a good battle, and call their Pokemon back into their balls.
