Athenodoros

Official Smogon Know-It-All
Given that Pippy's Pokemon are clearly already decided, I'll just go now to save everyone some time.

Guys, I''m thinking that an all-out attack is probably the best way to work out our opponents. Astraea can let off three Thunderbolts at Piplup, and Tirtouga can let Stone Edges at Piplup until it has hit twice. Then, it should use Earthquake if it still has time.

Sorry about the delay. Alright, Pippy, you use two Agilities to dodge all their attacks, then hit Tirtouga with a Hydro Pump. Ukelele, you use two Nasty Plots, then hit Staryu with a Thunderbolt.

====================

Staryu starts off the battle by firing off an extremely powerful Thunderbolt at Piplup. It looks like it's about to hit, but Piplup suddenly gets its act together and dodges it with Agility. What a majestic move! Pichu, looking for an idea to defend its teammate from the horrible attacks of Staryu and Tirtouga, uses Nasty Plot to boost its Special Attack. Pichu starts charging up an extremely powerful electric charge (lol) and looks a lot stronger. Tirtouga, however, takes a different approach with physical attacks via Stone Edge. It misses, however, as RNG rolls 8,649/10,000.

Staryu and Piplup decide to repeat their actions from last round with another Thunderbolt and Agility. This time, however, Piplup seems to be extremely tired out. No one is sure if it can keep up this intense dodging! Pichu keeps doing its own thing with Nasty Plot to raise its Special Attack. Tirtouga uses Stone Edge again...and RNG rolls...7787! It barely hits! This does a good amount of damage to Piplup as well.

Staryu finally hits Piplup with an attack! Thunderbolt hits Piplup and does a surprisingly high 20 damage! Pichu also takes the liberty of firing off a Thunderbolt right into Staryu's red gem thing, which does a ton of damage. 26, to be specific. Tirtouga and Piplup now stare at each other with rage. Hydro Pump and Stone Edge collide and hit the opposing Pokemon for big damage. Ouch! What will come out of this next round? Stay tuned!

I allowed Piplup to dodge Thunderbolt, but it won't gain any Speed from it. Also, I doubled the energy cost because Staryu is faster and it won't dodge Tirtouga's moves.

Add: Vote in the poll before it closes. No I didn't vote.

Pippy, you're up.

Alright Pippy, stay strong! Use Agility one more time, this time to boost your speed. (try to avoid Tortoga's attack, but try to take Staryu's) Afterwards, use Surf to swamp the whole island, then Jump to avoid Pichu's Thunderbolt. Pichu, first use Thunderbolt on Staryu, then Climb a tree. After Pippy uses Surf, use another Thunderbolt on the water to shock the entire battlefield. If Pippy is KO'd before he uses Surf, then use Thunder Wave on Staryu, then another Thunderbolt.

Well, we can't argue with an invitation like that, can we Astraea? Thunderbolt Piplup to kingdom come, and then Thunderbolt it once more before it can cover the arena with water to knock it out (the data audit thread tells me speed boosts do not mean faster execution of moves). Then, finish up with a Hydro Pump on Pichu.

Ao, you can start off by hitting Pichu with a Stone Edge, and then Chill unless Piplup survived the attack, in which case you should use Earthquake. Finally, whatever you used last, finish up with a Stone Edge on Pichu unless Piplup is still with us, in hich case you should target him.

Alright, Pichu. Since your in that tree, EQ should do less damage, so first use Nasty Plot, then two Thunderbolts.
