LC UU- where even more cutemons can be used(thank you Kieran for the format lol)
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

#littlecup on Synirc- because this is basically little cup!

    Introduction:
LC UU is just what it sounds like – the UU version of LC. Because LC is a standalone metagame that doesn’t follow the stats for tier shifts, LC is filled with way too many pokemon in its single tier, as opposed to the other tiers. With the big name threats like Murkrow and Mienfoo out of the way, its now time for even cuter mons to kick some ass! Now go use them cutemons like Teddiursa and Joltik, and find out what are the best strategies!

    1. Threads need to be approved.
    2. LC UU has a thread.
    Read the stickies...

I'll leave this open for now since this thread is probably formatted more nicely. Don't mess up next time, prem :|

Well this seems like a good idea, it seems that a number of things... Change, slightly. Duskull will probably do what it used to and be a slightly weaker Missy, correct me if I'm wrong, but Makihuta and Mankey seems to be the only fighting types (other than, lulz, Tyrogue) in this tier. So, Elekid looks like it'll replace a few fighting types. We have the worst shell smasher now great seeing how it's main threats(fighting type's, Magnemite, Chinchou) are gone, and it has no comp. :P I'll play this, looks fun and cute(er?), just saying a few things that I see at a glance.

Bellydrum Zigzagoon is a huge threat to those unprepared which, unfortunate for Zigzagoon, is everyone. Bellydrum gives max Atk boosts for the cost of half the health and Zigzagoon has a great STAB move in Extremespeed, but pokemon like Murkrow, Misdreavus, and any pokemon with priority destroys it. Still, it can possibly survive in this tier and maybe it'll get some more use.

Curse Lickitung will be absolutely incredible in this meta. Once Fighting types are gone it can do really well in LC OU and the lack of fighters here mean its job is a lot easier. Also, Mankey is a lot easier to wear down than Mienfoo 'cos it lacks regenerator. Omanyte and Dratini will also be top-tier sweepers. Not much can take a +1 Outrage from Dratini except like Aron and Onix who will both be demolished by aqua tail. Looking at the list I can't see anything that will be able to take on Omanyte... :S Luckily it doesn't have priority so some faster scarfers like Elekid can revenge. I think I'll make a team later...

This is a wonderful idea. I play LC a lot, and I have gotten tired of the same top pokes being used because they are aol good. I'll definitely make a team for this and participate in this, sounds great.

Well, having noticed something, I feel that rain team usage will increase. Rain not only supports the only shell smasher, but it's also pretty powerful with Surskit, and a few other Swift Swimmers running around. Some of these pokemon are quite powerful, but were just being limited by sand domination, or just by being slightly less useful then a few of the OU pokemon... I have to hurry home and make a team.

Glad to see LC UU come up. I've heard people talk about it many times but nothing ever came of it. Back when I heard of it Tirtouga was allowed, so many teams were focused around that - I can expect the same will be seen with Taillow. Guts power is rather strong in LC, and will be more so in LC UU with some normal and flying resists gone.

So, are we going to have a tourney of LC UU Pokemon or is this just for discussion?

for now its just discussion and have fun! but later on depending how popular it gets tourneys can easily be made lol.

anyway after playing a few games, taillow is a staple on every team with a choice scarf for its ability to just outspeed everything and scout. cacnea is a monster that just cannot be stopped if a sd comes up. and this tier is much more forgiving for life orb set up users like totodile and larvitar! so lets try some shit and post some sets lol

Zigzagoon is pretty ridiculous- if you don't have a Ghost-type, you lose if appropriate hazards and setup (Wynaut, Memento, etc) are given to Ziggy. It OHKOes even defensive beasts such as Lickitung and Vullaby with SR + one layer of Spikes, and setup is fairly easy to obtain via Oran Berry.

Ugh, Lickitung. It's a wonder it isn't banned from LC as it can tank everything thrown at it and heal it all back with Wish. Can't even status it because it also learns Heal Bell. Tbh, I'm surprised more people aren't using it. Only real threats are Mienfoo and DD Scraggy with Drain Punch.

I played a few games, I love the lack of fighting type's-it makes Normal type's actually usable!! Togepi isn't as big as a wall as Lickitung, but it's still pretty good! Surskit has a fun time just firing Hydro Pump after Hydro Pump with no Lileep to take the water..... Dry Skin Paras is also pretty good, till you meet a fire type. Ah, and speaking of fire type's, Darkuma, and his slightly weaker older sister-Azurill-have some... Rather high Attack stats to abuse. ;D

Let's not forget about Choice Scarf Treecko. With Leaf Storm, he becomes a huge revenge killer that's really hard to switch into. Seriously, use him. You'd be surprised how much he can do.

Other normal types that will be great in this meta:
Teddiursa: Quick Feet gives it a free Choice Scarf, as fell as a powerful Facade.

Eevee: 204 base power Return, can run a good scarf set.

Buneary: Can cripple many pokemon with klutz switcheroo, as well as a good attack stat.

Meowth: technician boosted fake out, bite, you name it. A great scout with aipom gone.

Eevee, Normal Gem, Protect+Last Resort was something I seen and suggested awhile back, it was mainly disregarded because of the raw amount of Fighting type's... But here...... :D

I would be careful with that set though, Tails. Every team I've played so far has used Aron or Golett, so you will have to get rid of them first. You could also try Gluttony Salac Zigzagoon with Belly Drum / Last Resort :B

I say Belly Drum/Extreme Speed is better than Last Resort, if just for the priority it gives Zigz. Plus, it opens up room for Pursuit and Rock Smash to take care of Golett and Aron.

    Lickitung is not banned, lol

Zigzagoon doesn't get shadow claw but ALL THE GHOSTS IN LC UU SUCK so good luck stopping it with them

also: all the mons that lost to fighting-types are now a lot better in LC UU. zigzagoon, aron, lickitung...
with aron being the only good steel I can see Dragon Dance Dratini/Bagon becoming better, too, though I'm not sure which is better yet? I've also seen Mixtini being used again.
