Fried the Krilowatt shows makes an appearance and takes the spot of its bubbly ally. Our Gym Leader doesn't like the idea of an 'itemless' Drapion and sees that Mollux the Mollux has better use in this situation vs a Water Type.

Deadfox doesn't want Krillowat to lose her item yet so he plays it say and orders Fried to call a Doll to hide behind. FMD had a back up plan just in case such thing would happen and orders Mollux to send bombs and waves and sludge towards the Substitute.

Many Sludges and chunks of thrown earth via golden light later, Mollux the Mollux finally knocked off her opponent's item, but appears to be below average on health.

Seems Deadfox has the advatage in this situation. Will he be able to keep the lead, or will our Gym Leader will turn this ship around into her favour?

Also Fun Fact: Earth Power isn't weakened by Grassy Terrain

Yo deadfox081 Apparently the grassy terrain in this arena is more than just normal grassy terrain and affects all seismic attacks like Earth Power

Does that change your action?
 
I really don't see why that would be the case. 'Seismic attacks' is not an official category of moves in any form to the best of my knowledge and I know for a fact that FMD did not specify this 'weakened grassy terrain' having its scope increased to include Earth Power when this arena was approved. As both a gym committee member and a gym challenger I considered "-2 to seismic attacks" to be merely a shorthand for "-2 to Earthquake, Bulldoze, Fissure, and Magnitude" as these are the moves specifically mentioned in Grassy Terrain. You will note that I specifically brought two Pokemon with Earth Power for the exact reason that it wasn't effected by the arena.
