Medicham's max speed is 328 and it hits about as hard as a CB Tyranitar. It's its Mega-Evolution, I seriously don't see the big deal. Sure, it's strong, but it's not something that you can't counter pretty easily with the right switch-in, even in Gen V OU.

Considering it gets HJK, it hits way harder than band tyranitar.

True, though with it's admittedly average bulk it might be able to pull off a set that forgoes speed since it has Drain Punch and Bullet Punch. Probably wouldn't be worth it.

Also: I want Mega Starmie so badly. :{

Sorry, but while I agreed with you before and it most certainly is not a complete list, I think it's proven more than accurate by now when more than half of the Pokemon don't have a trademark at all.

Me too. Starmie has been my second favorite pokemon (behind Dragonite) since Gen I. It has always had great utility and good power and coverage.

Swords Dance Mega Lucario is better (894 Atk + Adaptability and more speed vs 656 Atk, implying Adamant). Maybe even LO Lucario.
Also walled by Aegislash. Has to rely on Fire Punch to land SE hit.

I am starting to like the 1 Mega rule more and more. People will really have to think when they're building a team. Mega Medicham is great, but so are so many others. These Megas will really have to compete for a teamspot! The only thing I'm worried about is that we'll only see Mega Garchomp or something on every team. That'd be boring.

I wonder if there will be any teams at all without a Mega Evolution lol.

Steel no longer resists Ghost/Dark. Ergo, Crunch would be super effective.
