    Welcome to the Pokelution Beta Trial! Here today we have waterwarrior, who is going to test-run natural encounters with Pokemon! I'll turn over the pomp and ceremony to the real leader behind this project - Professor Cypress!

    “Welcome to the Pocket Monster Science Laboratory, or the PMS Lab for short. My name is Professor Cypress, and I am excited to show you one of the new developments in our studies. You see, we recently discovered an island that is wholly populated with Pokémon – nary a single human to be found. We tried exploring it with one of our Surveillance Pods, but we experienced some…setbacks. It was then that we came up with a different way to explore the island…through the eyes of a Pokémon.”

    “Here is the Pokémon we will use in this testing of the hardware – an Embirch. We will not be exploring the island just yet – at least not the mainland. Our first efforts are located at a small isle nearby it. It’s not too large – perfect for our studies.”

    “The Pokémon that will be exploring the isle (and eventually, funding permitting, the island) will be equipped with a translucent headset that adapts to their head size. This allows us to see through their eyes, as well as give commands. In addition, it does not arouse suspicion from the natives.”

    “We will also be taking a DNA sample of the Pokémon before it sets out on its journey. Why, you may ask? Oh, just in case we suffer a casualty. That way, we can clone the Pokémon and send it right back into the field. Don’t worry, it will still be the same Pokémon.”

    “Well, you’ve heard enough talking from me. It’s time to put this to the test and integrate our Embirch into its nest! We’ve chosen a prime location for it – the only Embirch nest on the isle. Let’s begin!”

    "This will be the Embirch you will be using. Now, we're currently on a helicopter ride to the island, so I'll give you a few basic pointers."

    1. The Embirch is the property of the PMS Lab. Whatever happens to it, you will not keep it.
    2. We are not against allowing you to keep any items or companions you may find along the way. That is, assuming the soon-to-be Pyroak makes it out of the test alive at the end...
    3. You will earn Achievements for doing certain things along the way, and with them, CC. However, seeing as Pokelution is not yet fully funded, your progress will not be saved, and you can earn these achievements all over again.
    4. Normally, if you die, your exploration will end. However, we have some funding, so your Pokemon will merely be revived at its home nest - but without its companions and items. And EC, MC, DC and CC you have collected will be safe, however.

    "And that's about it. Oh look, we're here! Time to drop off Embirch!"

    You get to the Necturine nest without incident. The nest seems to be thriving, and not hostile towards outsiders. One comes closer, a berry in its tendrils, to get a closer look at you.

    To the north you see the forest you just left.
    To the east and west you see more beach, stretching along the coast.
    To the south is the rugged ocean; you couldn't cross that, even with Surf.

    Edit: Just a question, do you get a free nature change on mons you recruit during the Prize Claim for each Pokelution run, or are you stuck with what you get during the RP?

    On your way to the nest, you found a small bush with Berries on it! 2 Oran and 2 Leppa, to be exact. What a nice surprise!

    "Random events like these are a semi-common occurrence on this island. Make the most of them as the come to you!"

    You then reach the Privatyke nest. You see them playing in the surf, and one of the Privatyke seems to be holding a berry. It looks at you, comes closer and gives a small salute.
