Problem with chat and name changing

Okay, I've got one big problem, which I can not solve myself.

Every time I connect to Smogon official server, it loads everything, except chat normally, thus I can not change my name, and battle somebody. I cleaned my cookies and refreshed this page numerous of times, and I am truly sure, that I was not banned.

I can use my Teambuilder normally, I can watch Ladder, I can do everything, but I can not change my name and battle people.

I think its either your internet, or its the server's connection, does this always happen?

Just close the chats (top right corner of loading box) and re-open. It happens sometimes and this fixed. Not sure if it will work for you too since you can't log in but it's worth a try. Also try on the downloadable version rather than in your browser.

I used to have the same problem. Until I used https:// in front of play.showdown.com and it works fine. Whenever I forget to put https, the same thing happens. Try this. Also, see if you can get on any other servers without problems
