Healing wish + setup sweepers is an incredibly good combo and mr mime is one of the few (if not only) users in the tier.

though it can't switch into throh or poliwrath safely, mr. mime would be good for this team because it still beats them / forces them out and healing wish is a very good move for teams like ours is shaping up to be. also, if this set ends up winning, i would probably want to change it to a scarf set since we lack a reliable revenge killer or anything that doesn't just die to tauros and this set doesn't even use NP anyway. also scarfmime is a really cool set imo

We have a fighting weakness, and we will have to fix it one day, so why not know? Mega Rupt has pretty good synergy, but in my opinion it just adds on to the speed issue. If we do have a scarfmime, then it won't be to much of a problem and I would probably vote for it.

tone114 wins, so our 4th member will be mr. mime. round 5 nominations are now open.

Simisear @ Choice Specs/Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Flamethrower/Taunt

Might as well attempt to complete the Fire/Water/Grass core with Simisear. Simisear has the ability as well as the moves to dish out a lot of damage for its teammates to come in and clean up. Fire Blast is the main STAB move that does a lot of damage to anyone that doesn't resist it. Focus Blast nails Rock-types like Golem, Barbaracle, and Carracosta that resist Fire Blast. Hidden Power [Electric] hits Pelipper, Mantine, and Swanna that resist Fire Blast and Focus Blast. The 4th move determines the held item. If its Flamethrower in the 4th slot, Choice Specs is preferred as Flamethrower hits weakened opponents if you don't wanna risk Fire Blast's accuracy. If its Taunt in the last slot, then Life Orb is preferred as it stops slower pokemon from setting up hazards like Kricketune getting off Sticky Web which would hinder this team.

Tone I think there is a enough setup in this team. Maybe something else?
Point taken. A Fire-type in general would still be best. Like the concept of Flareon or probably even Specs/Scarf Simisear could work.

Okay, I'm going to be putting this on hold until the tier shift happens. (For those of you who don't know, this will be sometime around the 1st of January.)

However, I really don't agree with adding a Fire type to this team. A FWG core sounds pretty on paper, but otherwise it doesn't really accomplish much. Furthermore, it just makes us weaker to a few things we're already weak to, particularly Simipour and opposing Carracosta.

(Oh and don't forget that we should really make costa an sr set and mr. mime a scarf set or else we will have a ridiculous amount of trouble fitting an sr setter and a revenge killer on our team)

Magnemite, I'm assuming that this is no longer on hold due to the tier shift happening today. Am I or am I not correct?

EDIT:

Rapidash @ Choice Band / Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Attack / 4 Def / 252 Speed
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Drill Run / Low Kick
- Poison Jab / Morning Sun

As stated earlier, this does need a Fire type. Rapidash would be perfect for this spot due to its great base Speed and normal base Attack with access to recovery. Any item would work on Rapidash, but if it were to need recovery, Life Orb would be the way to go. With Flash Fire, you can switch in on any offensive Fire Pokemon and it is almost a guarantee that you will get your fire moves boosted.

Why does it need a fire type? You'll have a FWG core... then what? They're offensive Pokemon so you wouldn't use them for defensive synergy (like the FWG core usually does) anyway, and FWG in itself is often mistaken as a core that can be slapped on any team while in reality it isn't, it's just a mindless 'core' consisting of 3 random mons that happen to somewhat work well together sometimes.. not really a core.
