Magmortar @ Assault Vest/Fightinium Z
Ability: Vital Spirit
Happiness: 252
EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Magmortar blows through a lot of the physical walls that torment Togedemaru such as Piloswine, Gastrodon, Weezing and others, absorb Will-o-Wisp, and appreciate Toge's U-Turn for pivoting and making breaking a bit easier.

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 164 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic Spikes
- Sludge Bomb

I've used Weezing and Togedemaru a lot and they work well together. Togedemaru can abuse Toxic Spikes by using Fake Out which are provided by Weezing. Fighting and Ground types such as Hitmonchan, Primeape, Gurdurr, Golurk, and Piloswine often take advantage of Togedemaru. Weezing comes in on the aforementioned Fighting and Ground types relatively easily and can use this opportunity to set up Toxic Spikes or throw out a Will-o-Wisp. Togedemaru supports Weezing by switching into Psychic types such as Mesprit and Jynx while taking little damage (even less if you're running a more specially defensive set) and dish out damage with Zing Zap or Toxic.

A narrow win by Dibs The Dreamer this week, congratulations bud! Very well done to iRebel who was very close too n_n

Absol @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Superpower
- Sucker Punch

This week I thought we'd try to find a good partner for a powerful wallbreaker in the current meta, being Swords Dance Absol. With a fantastic Attack stat of 130 coupled with both priority in Sucker Punch and a way to boost in Swords Dance, Absol is a dangerous Pokémon to deal with.

Submissions end this Sunday!

Reserving Granbull I'm trash and can't make up my mind

Eelektross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 30 Spe
- Knock Off
- Volt Switch
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain

Eelektross deals with most of the issues Absol has. Giga Drain let it take on titans such as Regirock, Carracosta, Gastrodon and Mudsdale which, while Absol can heavily dent with a +2 Superpower/Knock Off, also has to take a hit in return, and at -1 Defense after Superpower, it's very unlikely. Flamethrower is there for Bug and bulky Grass types, pretty self-explanatory. Knock Off softens Eviolite mons like Gurdurr and Clefairy which Absol cannot deal with on its own without giving it immense grief. A slow Volt Switch (30 IV's to undercreep other Eelektross) resolves one of the bigger issues Absol has in not being able to safely switch in most of the time, because it's susceptible to status, and its bulk is garbage.

In return, Absol deals with some of the bulkier Calm Mind users that can break through AV pokes, as well as special walls like Audino, Lanturn and Komala. It should also be noted that Drampa resists almost everything in Eelektross' arsenal, and Absol can obliterate it with a Superpower.

Reserving Weezing.

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Bold Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic Spikes
- Taunt

Weezing can easily come in on Fighting- and Fairy-type attacks that Absol hates, it can also cripple physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp and lay up Toxic Spikes which aids Absol in wallbreaking. In return Absol can come in on Psychic-type attacks that Weezing hates.

reserving primeape

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Close Combat
- Gunk Shot
- Earthquake

Primeape is a great scarfer in this meta, and it invites in psychic and ghost types such as mesprit and oricorio-sensu. It has u-turn to pivot into them and bring in absol to take them out. Primeape lures in fairies with gunk shot and is great speed control to work with absol's average speed.

Oricorio-Sensu @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Dancer
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Revelation Dance
- Hurricane

Oricorio-Sensu and Absol form a solid wallbreaker core which is commonly seen of offense such as Taskr's showcased RMT. Oricorio-Sensu and Absol form a fantastic wall breaker core as Oricorio-Sensu can switch into bulky mons such as Qwilfish and Weezing and use them as set up or to fire off a strong stab or Z move. Oricorio-Sensu also threatens fighting types from wanting to go for Mach Punch as they can be put in a bad position if Oricorio comes in. Absol just softens up teams for Oricorio to come in an sweep (Oricorio does the same for Absol) and can Knock Off Eviolite Pokemon that can usually take a hit such as Ferroseed or dent Flying resists with Superpower such as Regirock. Overall the core is super offensive and very easy / self explanatory to use.

Mesprit @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- Healing Wish
- U-turn

Mesprit beats Fighting-types for Absol such as Gurdurr, Hitmonchan and Primeape, as well as Weezing which can give Absol problems, provides slow U-Turn support, can give it a second chance at wallbreaking/sweeping with Healing Wish, and sets up Rocks, which can pressure some of its checks.
