Hello and welcome to Season 1 of the PUCL or the PU United Championship League! Here the best battlers in the tier have come together to battle it out to determine who deserves the title of PUCL champion. Here are the rules for the PUCL:
- Everyone will face each other once in a best-of-1 series. Replays must be saved.
- Every battle will follow standard rules (6v6 singles with all Smogon clauses active (evasion, sleep, OHKO, etc.))
- Trades are allowed between coaches, but no team can have no more and no less than 12 Pokemon and no trading between is allowed after Week 7.
- You are allowed to pick up a Pokemon from the Free Agent pool as long as you drop one from your team, but you're only allowed one Free Agent Pickup a week and all teams cannot acquire any Free Agents after Week 10.
- After 13 weeks, the 4 teams with the best win/loss ratio will go into a playoff tournament for the championship.
