Alright it’s time for another nasty and confusing Brawl in the Tournament Arena, Ragnarolex vs. Athenodoros! Tahlzara the Electabuzz opens the action with a huge Wild Charge on Typhon the Lapras while it’s opponent, Loki the Haunter, Taunts Malspar the Chimchar that makes it rage! Nyri the Syclar then crashes into Typhon with a Superpower before the raging monkey can follow up with a ThunderPunch! Illuyanka the Horsea then Bubblebeams Tahlzara and Mars the Nidorino blasts Nyri with a Flamethrower!

Then Feralyn the Remoraid enters the fray with a Thunder Wave on Loki, paralyzing it! Ares the Riolu then slams Nyri with a devastating Blaze Kick while Typhon channels its energy through Tahlzara and gains some health with a Pain Split! Keraia the Kirlia burns Ares with a Will-o-Wisp while its partner Hades the Deino Taunts Cyvain the Dusclops! Cyvain tries to Taunt Loki, but it’s so enraged by Hades’s Taunt that it fails!

Then Tahlzara scores with another Wild Charge on Typhon while Nryi emits a low hum of a Struggle Bug, hitting all of its opponents! Malspar repeats its earlier success with a ThunderPunch on Typhon while Illuyanka does the same with its BubbleBeam! Then Mars fires another Flamethrower at Nyri before Feralyn paralyzes it with a Thunder Wave!

Ares then comes crashing down on Nri with a final Blaze Kick that KOs the little guy already! Wow! Typhon then Roars at Loki, allowing it to shake off the effects of the Struggle Bug, while Keraia does its burning act once again with a Will-o-Wisp on Hades! Hades, for its part, Roars for Typhon in return to similar effect! Loki, slow moving, still gets it together enough to Taunt Keraia and forcing it into a rage before Cyvain further punishes Typhon with a ThunderPunch!

Tahlzara opens the chaos once again with a ThunderPunch on Typhon! Malspar runs up behind to follow-up with a Fire Punch that KOs the water monster! Then Illuyanka Disables Tahlzara’s Wild Charge for good measure before Feralyn opens up with a huge Water Spout that decimates its opponents! Ares then hits Cyvain with a Shadow Claw while its teammate Loki gets slammed backwards from Keraia’s [BPsychic[/B]! Hades works up another powerful Roar for Loki, but it has no effect! Loki continues onward and sings an eerie Perish Song that will cause all the Pokemon on the field to faint pretty soon! Yikes! Cyvain then nails Loki with a Shadow Ball before Mars Disables Karaia’s Will-o-Wisp, which is interesting because she’s Taunted already!

Cyvain then screams forward with a Shadow Sneak and almost takes Loki out! Waiting in the wings is Tahlzara, who fires a beam of Psychic energy straight at the ghost, Knocking it Out cold! Malspar was right behind Tahlzara with a Shadow Claw ready, but with the target KO’d, the attack fails! Illuyanka then does its Disabling act on Feralyn, who is unconcerned and erupts with another Water Spout! Ares hits Cyvain with another Shadow Claw for pitiful damage but gets rocked by Keraia’s Psychic soon afterward! Hades Roars again, resetting Illuyanka’s stat drops from earlier, and Mars finishes off the Round with a Sludge Bomb on Cyvain that poisonss it!

First off, I would just like to say that this is payback for your Hall challenge, Ragnarokalex :)

Also, Roar should have negative priority and stop things from dying due to perish song, so Horsea and Haunter should both not die from perish song (although it is kind of academic in Haunter's case).

It’s action-packed as ever as Cyvain jumps forward again with a ThunderSneak attack on Illuyanka, which is followed by a sharp Shock Wave from Tahlzara! Illuyanka tries to evade such punishment with a Dive underwater while Feralyn turns on Mars with a Psychic! Ares then Endures itself for future blows, which are exactly what it receives in the form of a Psychic pulse from Keraia! Ares looks battered after that assault, but thanks to its focus, it remained able to battle! However, Ares’s burns proved too much to handle, and the little fighter gets KO’d, despite its Enduring attitude! Mars then gets into the thicket by Toxic poisoning Tahlzara before its teammate Malspar works up an impressive Double ThunderPunch aimed at Illuyanka that misses because Illuyanka is underwater! Too bad! Illuyanka resurfaces shortly thereafter with an attack on Tahlzara, but the Static charges from Tahlzara’s fur paralyze the little Horsea! After that, Hades lets out yet another mighty Roar, freeing Mars of the torturous Perish Song!

Down to five-on-three, Tahlzara connects with another Shock Wave on Illuyanka before Keraia and Feralyn both wallop Mars with two brutal Psychic attacks that KO the monster! Wow! Illuyanka fights through Paralysis to get another Dive attack off on Tahlzara while Hades takes the time to Roar for the loss of its teammate, Ares, doing no good in the process! And look now, it’s 5-on-2 with only one round left before Perish Song faints everything on the field except Illuyanka! The next Round will decide the match one way or the other, so make your Actions count, trainers!

@Ragnarokalex: The rules for combos regarding priority are such that if you use a combo of two 0-priority moves (i.e. ThunderPunch), the priority of the combo becomes -2. The priority of the attack part of Dive is also -2, meaning the two attacks were operating within the same priority bracket. SINCE Chimchar is 1 point faster than Horsea, Chimchar's -2 priority attack occurred BEFORE Horsea's -2 priority attack. Since Horsea was still underwater as part of the Dive attack and had not yet resurfaced, Chimchar's attack missed. If any of that is unclear, please let me know. Otherwise, please send me your Actions for the final Round!

Tahlzara comes at the badly out-manned team of Atheno's to deliver a finishing blow to Illuyanka with a Shock Wave! Malspar moves in to Encore Hades's Roar! Feralyn then hits Hades with a chilly Ice Beam as its teammate, Keraia, runs over to the spot Hades had been Roaring to when Ares was there! What's the point of that? Anyway, Cyvain follows up on th offensive pressure with an Ice Punch before Hades Roars away to please Malspar, piercing the ears of Keraia and forcing out the awful Perish Count! Just in time, too, because Perish Count then takes its toll and Tahlzara, Cyvain, Malspar, and Feralyn all faint from the awful noise! The only 'mon left standing is the petite Keraia, which means Ragnarokalex WINS!
