Johto National Park: The focus of bug catchers the world over, the park is famous for its bug hunting contests. In this arena, the grass is very thick and all natural conditions are allowed. Bug types may hide in the grass at the cost of an action, and will remain at a 30% chance to hit (NFE) and 50% chance to hit (FE) while in it. This action takes seven energy, and if hit the Pokemon must come out and is taunted for the next six actions into fighting his opponent. This modifier is applied after base accuracy but before speed nature affects, accuracy modifiers, and abilities.

Bug types will not suffer reduced accuracy when striking other opponents in the bushes, but will not cause the opponent to come out. A taunted or tormented Pokemon can not flee into the bushes.

Ya fixed

Scyther began the round by covering its team with a barrier of light. Volcarona then decided to bodyblock its teammate Syclar. Electivire used Fire Punch on Syclar, but Volcarona jumping in the middle and ended up burning Electivire due to its body naturally outputting large amounts of heat and fire. Volcarona then floated up so Syclar could attack uninhibited and nailed Pikapwnd's entire team with a frosty Blizzard. Hitmonchan then went into punch Syclar, but was once again blocked by Volcarona. However, Hitmonchan was a bit luckier in that it didn't end up burnt. Monohm then fired off a Flamethrower, which did very little due to Volcarona being covered by a ray of light.

Scyther then quickly rushed in to attack Hitmonchan, and fired off a quick slice which looked very technical at first and ended up quite powerful. Volcarona then summoned a great Hurricane, but it missed its course, flew over a big oil spill, then into some wildfires and ended up being a giant fiery wind which burnt up a large portion of Mexico, but didn't do anything to any of the Pokemon. Electivire must have had a bit of bad Poffin, because it hurled up a bit of toxins onto Volcarona, who ended up poisoned, badly. Syclar suddenly jumped into the air and began to do many a flip, somersault, and after finishing a barrel roll, landed on top of Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan then pulled another temperature change on its fist, going from a fiery punch to an icy one, and hit Scyther, causing more damage due to mantises not enjoying the cold. Monohm suddenly felt a great gush of water in its stomach, and suddenly near exploded as it used Hydro Pump on Volcarona, who still took very little damage due to its Light Screen.
