Round 6: Double Trouble

The battle dragged on, and the pokemon of both trainers were hurting.

Gengar opened up this round with a Shadow Ball aimed at Electivire, dealing reasonable damage, to which Electivire responded by setting up a yellow screen to reflect special attacks. Tomohawk meanwhile Taunted Gengar so that it wouldn't do any status shenanigans. Shuckle, finally free of that taunt, sent some Toxic at Electivire.

Shuckle and Gengar then tag teamed for a powerful Psyshock attack that knocked out Tomohawk in one hit. Electivire tried to avenge his partner by Thunderpunching Gengar.

Finally, Gengar sent a Venoshock at Electivire that took advantage of his poison status and knocked him out. Seeing that the threat was decimated, Shuckle chilled.
