Ouch. I didn't see Smash order Giga Drain over Fire Blast, so I thought that I could sub on the Sunny Day and pull it off... Regrardless, Ninetails, this could very well be over before it starts... should have paid attention to the change in orders.

When you arrive on the field, Drough automatically triggers and drains ten energy. All of which is irrelevant. Start with a Flamethrower and go to Ember. If it's still alive Flamethrower again. If he gets a hit, good for him. It's still going to come down to you and Aggron. Just remember: you're my favorite.

Just as the clouds begin to obscure the sun once more, out comes a Ninetales whose mere presence has scared the clouds away, keeping the sun's strongest rays shining down on the arena beyond the natural duration! Not only that, but it's already prepared its first attack: a full-force Flamethrower. Desperately trying to find a way to fight back, Grass Skirt unleashes Earth Power and succeeds in lowering his opponent's resistance to the elements, but he is so exhausted that a small Ember from Sunshine the Ninetales finishes him off. The Flarelm has finally been beaten and it looks like Sunshine has shrugged off the Earth Power's side effect.

The sun is shining brightly still. smashlloyd20, you know what you gotta do.

Heh, heh, heh.

That's a good one smash. However, the changes from the last SotG only apply to new battles. Burn in all of it's glorious brokeness is still around. Start off with Will-o-Wisp, boosted if he has a -speed nature. If that burns move on to Fire Blast and Flamethrower, boosted by the sun. If he isn't burned, use Will-o-Wisp again.

Out comes an Aggron to replace Grass Skirt, and it looks like all Hardhead wants to do is Head Smash his opponent to oblivion! But it looks like Sunshine has other plans. Yes, she's making a small flame float towards the Aggron - a Will-o-Wisp! But despite Hardhead's huge bulk and sluggishness, he somehow manages to avoid this flame while smashing his opponent! Disappointed, Rediamond orders another Will-o-Wisp from his pokemon. This one hits Hardhead on his hard head before his second Head Smash and has really made him lose his focus. In fact, it's putting him off so much that his final attack has missed completely. The flames coming out of the Ninetales' mouth in a Flamethrower-like manner, on the other hand, hit the behemoth. This is where things start to get interesting as if they weren't interesting before.

Rediamond issues his actions as the sun continues to shine ever so brightly.

Alright, let's go for broke here. I want you to start with a Confuse Ray to hedge our bets. After that, go for two Fire Blast attacks. If he tries to avoid Confuse Ray... he's outsped by a lot, so I can't imagine it working.

And hope Rediamond doesn't hax us terribly...

Once again, Hardhead is going down the brute force road, but this time Sunshine dazzles him with a blinding Confuse Ray! This coupled with the intense sunlight has made Hardhead intensely confused! He charges in head first but the swift Ninetales dodges his attack with ease, though fortunately no self-harm has been done yet. Not waiting to see what happens next, Sunshine breathes out some intense fire, making a Fire Blast that hits the Aggron square in the chest! Hardhead then goes in for another attack but this time he trips up and bangs his head on the floor! This is not a good round for smashlloyd20 as a second Fire Blast burns Hardhead badly, but it looks like the Aggron has regained its senses and, better yet, he actually lands one Head Smash on his opponent! Now both pokemon are showing signs of exhaustion and I doubt that they'll both make it through the next five minutes, but which one will win?

smashlloyd20 has been so badly haxed that it's almost not worth him giving actions for the next round, but that is what he must do. The sun is still shining brightly.

And the two trainers give their orders. Now both pokemon are so worn out that neither of them will be able to withstand the other's attack. Hardhead stops charging in head-first and prepares to jump so that he can cause an Earthquake, while Sunshine takes a deep breath and prepares to launch a Fire Blast at her opponent. It all comes down to this ...

Sunshine lets out a stream of powerful fire that takes the form of her final attack and Hardhead jumps into the air. The Aggron lands on the ground and it starts to shake, but unfortunately, right at that moment, he is hit by the blast of fire. The Ninetales swiftly leaps up before the seismic waves hit her and, upon landing, is not shaken at all. Hardhead returns to his pokeball and Sunshine stands as the proud victor.
