I actually have no idea what happened. People keep their ref profiles here, which is a good way to organize your reffings. I'll go resticky.

You can always click the Data tag though and you can find this thread and the tutoring program thread.

You look for subrefs the same way you look for regular refs, meaning the Battle Tower thread.

I have a question about Intimidate. When the pokemon is first sent out, does activating Intimidate count as an action? I've seen refs who count it as one, and refs who don't. My understanding was that it is automatic when the pokemon is first sent out, but it takes an action to use it when a different pokemon enters battle, but I'd figure I'd check.

When a pokemon is first sent out Intimidate isn't an action, but it can be used as an action to effect another pokemon, or thats what I gathered from the discription

Does Fake Out's description mean "can only flinch a Pokemon once per round" or "can only flinch a Pokemon once, period"?

If a match finishes because of Perish Song, does the pokemon who used it get KO counters? How do I treat those who fall to it?

Whichever pokemon landed the last hit gets the KOC iirc.

As far as Perish Song goes I've always given the KOs to the singer for any Pokemon that are KOed as a result. (of course those knocked out before the counter runs out don't count)

At this point; I might as well sign up. I've already done what amounts to a 9v2 and it wasn't -that- bad.

Timezone: GMT -8 (North American Pacific Coast)
Availability: Noon to 2 PM, and midnight to 5 AM; I work odd hours. Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are my "me" days - I'll make the attempt to be online, but don't expect me to be punctual on these days.

Hey, iirc, hasn't the multiplier for stat boosts gone up to 1.75? I remember reading it somewhere, but the manual damage calculator hasn't been changed.

I'll take a shot at reffing. I'm a pretty good writer, so it'll be fun.

    Timezone: EST (GMT-5)
Availability: Mostly in the evening and in the morning. Almost always free on weekends.

Any battle I ref will be extremely flavor heavy. Also, like Rediamond, I would like to know the actual formula so I can use pencil and paper.

    Matches Reffed:
Albinoloon vs. Fire Blast (1v1 Singles)
Arcanite vs. Lord Jesseus (2v2 Doubles)
Elevator Music vs. C$FP (6v6 Singles) (Subreffing)

I will ref almost anything. I prefer using prose, but if the trainers treat it like a numbers game, I will. I also prefer to show my work rather than just show the results. I am new at this, so if I make a mistake, feel free to correct me.

My availability is varying. I have classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have activities, but I work fast and that shouldn't be much of a problem.

Ok, posting to say that SimonSays has done everything it takes to become an accomplished ref; having reffed three battles, all of which are of excellent quality, I'm delighted to say that I think he's ready to go off on his own.

    Congratulations Simon!

What's the ref compensation for brawls? For example I'm reffing a 6v6 brawl atm and would very much like to know how much RC im getting (I deserve like 20 imo, this is a shitstorm of hard work :D)

For any custom matches like that you get 1 RT per Pokemon per player +1 RT. So, 6+6+1=13.
